hey there! i know that drawing you did of sunny not showered was just supposed to be silly, but it really made me smile as a chronically ill person who's kind of forced to be a hikikomori. i've been an artist for 7 years and have never seen someone actually draw oily hair or wrinkled clothes or sweat stains, at least not because of illness. i didn't even realize i was leaving out those things when drawing myself or disabled ocs, so i think i'm going to try to draw people more true to life from now on :). thank you!

When I first received this, I sent it to a few friends to revel in how happy it made me 🥺. I'm really awestruck that I inspired you! I think it's fun to try to pay attention to how people behave even offscreen... (I blame my writer friends for making me conscientious.) Thanks! It’s a custom brush I made inspired by the similar effect @/yadu_nadu on twitter draws with. Although it doesn’t come nearly as close, I think it’s pretty fun and helps me draw loosely! It’s just a watercolour edge. Thinking about it like rice makes me giggle PFFT
