Mid-Life Crisis @ 25

Morning all,

Last night’s shower talk consisted of Kaylynn and I reviewing our life, as usual, but this time was different. We discussed how we feel like a bizarre occurance is happening and how she feels like she is literally going through a midlife crisis.

Now that got us thinking that.. what if a midlife crisis doesn’t just happen when you turn 50 or so. What if it literally happens when you are midway through your actual life that you are meant to live?

Let’s take a step back, now.. I know that death is a taboo topic to bring up, however, most of us will not live to see 100, we’ll be lucky if we make it to our 70’s, with the way this world is going. What if your natural life span is predetermined and when you hit that halfway mark, wherever it may be, you start your “midlife crisis”?

Now if that were true, that would mean that Kaylynn’s life span would only be until she turned 52, which is no good in my book.

Who knows, though? No one ever knows the real science behind life because we all showed up the same way. But when I do think about it it’s bizarre because Kaylynn and I always discuss how we are in our twenties but mentally feel like we could be in our 30’s or 40’s. So maybe our brain is just tricking us to thinking that it’s time for a midlife crisis.

In any news, it’s just something to chew on.. Tell me, have you gone through a midlife crisis or felt like you have? I would love to know.
