On two floors we will give you the best of Malmös underground. In Dödsmaskinen some of the most furious bands from Malmös punk scene will play. And in the big room ØKA will bring you the best in Jungle/Drum&bass on their own custom sound. All in all its gonna be a night to remember.

The two crews have joined forces because of their shared passion for underground parties, the DIY movement and political resemblance. We feel that the punk scene and the underground rave movement have a lot of things in common and want to bring them together to show that together we are strong!

my names nico and i’m psychotic / bipolar. in the past months of college i’ve been depressed since august and coming home recently hasn’t had much effect unfortunately !  on top of that i have SAD (seasonal affect disorder AKA seasonal depression) and the lamp i use for light therapy just broke for good. 

i’m making this post because i can’t afford a new one myself: my family is too poor to buy things other than necessities and i myself only have 20 dollars in my bank account. but all i need to buy a new lamp is $50 ! if 10 people donated 5 dollars i’d be set, but even if it’s just 1 or 2 dollars i’d really appreciate it !

Van gogh only got (economical) recognition after his death. Dubstep died and the dubs went through the roof. This tune is one of the more efficient way of putting a dancefloor to a standstill. If I had it it would have been my most expensive ashtray (right now chase & status is holding that title).

Once upon a time dance music was evolving through the audience on dance-floors in clubs and warehouses. Today dance music seems to have other winds in the sail and one of them is online podcasts. Specifically podcasts produced by independent record labels. I have already mentioned Nice Up Records podcast. This time Dubwise station plays specials invite guests and promote up-coming artists in and outside of their own label. Doumpa (France) keeps the talking to the minimum and yet present the latest and greatest in Jungle and Ragga-Jungle. Listening to the four released episodes of this podcast gives a good overview of the evolution of the genres from this year (2014). This is how I was introduced to Mooncat + Kursiva (Spain) and Numa crew (Italy). This podcast is open to producers from all over the world without an over-emphasis on UK productions which I can appreciate.
