For context- this whole polycule thing started because a friend and I had a creepypasta roleplay that went super out of control so a lot of the character's dynamics are based on headcanons + backstory that would take a long time to explain (that's why there's things like, u know, Jane and Zalgo have a child. That storyline was wild). Also some dynamics are missing simply because the chart was becoming to difficult to manage (for example Jeff and Ben had a very interesting frenemies relationship but I couldn't fit those arrows so I gave up).

ALSO the Slenderman taking the kids thing is a joke. The TL;DR is that Zalgo has a bunch of children with different women/creatures for demon purposes™ that he doesn't take care of and many of them end up in the creepypasta mansion, and Slender is the one who gets stuck looking after them.

oh my god you were NOT kidding with the rarepair polycule and i'm very glad you weren't i spent so long zooming in and scrolling through the different branches of this when u first sent it (and again as i'm typing this) i used to roleplay a Lot so the fact that this was borne from a very far Escalated roleplay makes total sense to me. when i roleplayed on quotev typically people would base their account around a character (their "muse") and would rp as that muse so new rarepairs were just Created whenever a roleplay turned romantic .. lots of eyeless jack x every creepypasta man in existence in my case bc that was always my account's muse LOL

the slenderman having to take in zalgo's children thing is so funny to me i'm just imagining slender opening the door to a sopping wet demon child in a box on the front steps and being like "god damn it not another one"

think my favorite in this whole chart is the queerplatonic toby/nina that is SO real and true. my toby and nina do not know each other in my universe (why i Desperately need to make a slendermansion/co-habiting au) but they would absolutely be the best of qpps

this absolutely applies to other fandoms and just like. society in general but... hi creepypasta/slenderverse fandom!!! reminder to stop slinging around terms like psychopathic, psychotic, sociopathic, etc (feel free to add more in tags) as synonyms for evil or "crazy", even if you mean it fondly! these words describe actual mental health conditions and should not be used for anything else.

and if you mean to genuinely assign these conditions to a character you need to make sure you know what's stigmatizing language/characterization and what isn't and Unlearn the negative associations you have with any of these conditions. automatically and arbitrarily slapping these diagnoses onto an "evil" character is lazy, inaccurate, and saneist.

psychopathy and sociopathy (which both fall under ASPD) are not criminal, evil, or serial killing disorders, nor does having a lack of empathy mean that someone is cruel and malicious.

histrionic personality disorder (HPD) and narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) don't mean that the person is abusive or malicious or "incapable of love".

experiencing psychosis or having schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder does not mean that the person is violent or a danger to others.

(again, if you want to add on more please feel free)

these statements only scratch the surface in terms of unpacking the stigmatizing notions people have about these mental health conditions.

i think a good starting off point in doing your own learning is to find acceptance blogs/posts (of which there are many on tumblr and also instagram) for these disorders run by people who actually have them. they often go out of their way to educate others on what it means to be someone with a specific disorder, and will usually link to resources where you can do further reading.

ive been into creepypasta since quotev was called quizazz and i had a semi popular fanfiction that was just me x jeff the killer called like "my best friends arent like yours" also i used to be a pretty popular in the creepypasta fandom on tumblr in 2016 lol

i came to quotev After the name change but it was only shortly after if what im looking up is right. and god i wish i still had evidence of the fics i'd post(my mom made me delete Multiple of my accounts before she finally gave up), i definitely never reached any semblance of Popularity but people did read the jeff x reader fic i wrote in 2014(?) where i describe y/n's "creepypasta form" as having hot pink and black striped armwarmers.

like the need to specifically mention these emo ass arm warmers 😭 also i only really interacted w the cpp fandom through quotev/google plus/discord until aroundd 2019 and i WISH(and also kind of don't) i could've been part of cpp fandom on more mainstream social medias i've heard so many wild fucking stories.. but my main internet access for a while was just my 3ds and tumblr didn't fucking work on the internet browser</3
