Origin won’t open Sims

Hey everyone, I got a new laptop recently. I backed up all of my Sims files and put them on my new laptop, and I installed Origin instead of using the discs since I ran out of code uses two laptops ago--when I used Sims in origin on my last laptop, it worked fine. Now when I click my game, Origin disappears for about 3 seconds then comes back and the game never opens, and I can’t open my launcher. Has anybody had this happen? Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!

I’ve gained a lot of lovely followers recently posting my sims 4 lepacy … so of course as a follower gift I’m releasing my folder of 100+ sims 3 berry sims from back in the day. Logical, I know. 

BUT these guys are doing no good in a folder on my computer without sims 3 even installed or buried on old long deleted side blogs of mine. Unfortunately not all of them come with pictures and CC lists, but feel free to message me and I can try (emphasis on try) to help you out.

Sestina is up for download here. She didn’t appear for very long in my legacy, mostly because she looks almost exactly like her mother and she has the dislikes children trait which would have been problematic with all the kiddos in the house. She is pansexual.
