don’t laugh but my first attempt at knitting i thought i could use the same amount of stitches for a vest i would use for crochet but alas! knitting stitches are a lot smaller and need more starting chains and i did NOT have the correct needles for it but i was desperate to get started so i made this big frankenstein patch

as you can see it’s puckered to the gods cuz my needles were way too short and i floated my yarns way too tight and since it’s way too small to be a vest, i crocheted a mesh shirt to sew it on as a patch!!!

but one patch wasn’t enough so i made a second smaller one and actually took my time with it and i think it came out a lot better

anyway this was just to chronicle my knitting attempts and i’ll model and post the finished shirt later today !!!!!!

huehuehue finished my vest that’s based on a doodle that’s based on something i saw in my coffee grinds one morning.

the front panels can be switched with lobster claws i attached to the bottom!
