An example of the shorter dialogue-less version of side stories I may do from now on. I wish I could keep side stories as lengthy as they had been in the past. But it just takes too much time away for not just main story stuff but stuff I want to do outside of Tumblr.

I've admittedly afraid that I may never get to finish Geniequestria the way I want to in a timely fashion before it's all said and done. The whole scale of the project is too ambitious for one person and I don't want to burden others for something I can't compensate them for. I can at least say I Dream of Twilight Sparkle's story is mostly finished at this point. Most of what comes there is for any asks or small stuff (Although I do have a few more things planned, but definitely not another story on the level of either SOTDT or EEC).

Regardless, I'll try to continue Geniequestria for as long as I'm able to. I just feel so sorry that it's come so slow, but I also don't want Geniequestria to literally be the only thing I'm doing. So I still want to balance it with other things I want to do.

While the non-genified Mane 6 went to comfort Twilight, and Starlight basked in her victory with a trip to the spa. Fluttershy went inside the hive that was Meadowbrook’s vessel. She would talk with Meadowbrook over what just happened. The mage from ancient times was initially hostile to Fluttershy’s appearance, since it was technically her fault this happened.

Though Fluttershy could tell that Meadowbrook’s attitude toward her was half-hearted. Meadowbrook’s tone gives away that while maybe there was a hint of disdain towards Fluttershy. It was obvious she felt more betrayed by Starswirl and the silence of the others of the Pillars, plus, she knew now what kind of power and pleasurable feelings being a genie gives her. Almost like she understood why Catrina was so obsessed with her own power. If a bit worried that simply something brainwashing her into believing it.

Fluttershy would get her to understand that it’s ok to still feel a little upset with her. But also figures what Starswirl said to her was bothering her more than anything else. She helps Meadowbrook understand that Starswirl is wrong. Though it will take some time for him to figure that out, maybe not even up til’ he is genified himself one day. Fluttershy also assures that the good feelings Meadowbrook is feeling is no mind trick. As if it was, why would it let her even debate with herself about it. Helping Meadowbrook see that she still has her own free will. She thanks Fluttershy for making her realize that.

For now though, she wonders what she should do next. And Fluttershy actually gives her a suggestion: Go to Ponyville’s hospital. The pegasus genie knows some pony there that would really like to meet her, and would be more than happy to show her how healthcare has changed since her time.

Fluttershy then tells Meadowbrook she has someone else she needs to cheer up, before politely leaving Meadowbrook on her own, The mage cheered up, and ready to spread this magic to modern experts of healthcare.

When Meadowbrook gets to the hospital, it’s deserted of patients and she sees what seems to be a nurse with a white coat and pink hair awfully puzzled about this. Holding a list of patients that needed urgent care that had reported that they’re feeling fine now. Better than ever actually. She sighs before sitting down on a waiting room chair.

Meadowbrook soon approached the Nurse, the latter gasping as she sees what seems to be a splitting image of someone she’s idolized ever since she was a filly. She initially thinks Meadowbrook is just a cosplayer. But as they talk, the nurse quizzes the mare. She realizes that she’s living a dream.

Mage Meadowbrook herself was in front of her, and the nurse could barely contain her excitement. She wonders why the mage isn’t in her more iconic dress, but just assumes the clothing change was perhaps some desert wear that Somnambula gave her. She introduces herself to the mage as Nurse Redheart and tells her how much her tales inspired her to get into healthcare.

They talk at length, eventually getting to the conversation about modern healthcare and how much has improved since Meadowbrook’s time. Including many ailments that had been fatal, or otherwise crippling are now rare or even nonexistent thanks to such miracle inventions as the vaccine. Which astounds Meadowbrook to no end. Wondering if such a miracle exists, does illness even exist anymore?

Which actually gets Nurse Redheart to sigh. Who tells Meadowbrook that as much as healthcare has improved, there are still some things vaccines can’t take care of. Mostly physical injury, and how sometimes ponies doubt the validity of such advances in technology just because of what it still can’t do. Or if it was applied too late to save somepony.

Inadvertently, Nurse Redheart wishes audibly that there was a singular vaccine for absolutely everything. Which gives Meadowbrook her chance, eager to use her new powers granted to her by Fluttershy. Meadowbrook tells Redheart that she may have just the thing and asks for an empty syringe. Redheart not understanding what Meadowbrook intends to do, but who is she to question this legend of healthcare.

Meadowbrook begins to imbue the syringe with magic, and tells Redheart to sit down as she’s about to apply it. Redheart raises an eyebrow before telling her that she’s already well-vaccinated for everything there is in this current age. The mage winks and hints that there is one ailment that indeed the nurse has to worry about… aging… as well as death.

Redheart’s eyes going wide and exclaiming that it’s impossible, though she’s then initially scared she means something like suspended animation in which Meadowbrook must have been in limbo. In which the Mage assures that’s not what she’s about to do. She insists for Redheart to trust her. Redheart isn’t too sure she can take the idea of curing aging and death even from her idol as nothing more than fool’s gold but decides to let Meadowbrook do what she wills.

As Meadowbrook slowly brings down the syringe, Redheart winces to prepare for the initial sting. Although surprisingly, when it’s inserted. There’s no sting at all, it smoothly goes in without an ounce of pain. She gasped, and even began to blush as she felt the opposite of a brief second of pain. It felt like more so she was getting an immediate dose of dopamine into her body. She coos and comments to Meadowbrook that this feels amazing. A power unlike nothing else welling up inside.

Though just seconds later, Redheart looks over to the hoof that the syringe had been injected in… and sees it was beginning to get sucked up into the syringe!

As much as still felt no pain, it still presented a moment of panic as more of her hoof was absorbed into the syringe. She tries to use her other hoof to try to stop the syringe only making things worse as the syringe started taking in her other hoof. She was now helpless as her head and upper body began to warp into the syringe too.

She screams for a few seconds before it starts to fade as her mouth enters the syringe. From there, the nurse’s entire body is sucked into the syringe as easily as blood is taken from the body during blood drives.

A satisfying sound is heard once all of the nurse is in the syringe, the red cross of the nurse’s cutie mark appearing on both sides of the syringe. Meadowbrook herself is amused and prepares to release her newly genified pony. She presses on it as if to release its contents in the air. And she softly puts the syringe onto the table. White and pink smoke quickly swirling out of the syringe until it takes the shape of the nurse, now connected to the syringe via a curvy, smoke tail.

As Redheart faded in, she felt renewed. She was no longer as afraid as she had been in the seconds she was being sucked into the syringe. A blood red veil adorned her face, same with her forelegs. She asks Meadowbrook what just happened, and why she feels like she’s in the best shape of her life.

Meadowbrook of course explains to her that she was now a genie and how much of Equestria is gradually becoming genified. Just like she is right now. Being a more science-focused mare, the nurse could hardly believe genies were real. But it was hard to dispute that she now had a smoke tail to her vessel, the syringe. And overwhelming power within her. Meadowbrook would say she’s generally all new to this herself, but no matter what. Being a genie felt great, even if the opinions of Starswirl have soured her positive feelings a bit.

Redheart understood now that genification was indeed the cure for everything. She also realizes this is what must have happened to those patients on her urgent care list. They must have become genies, and thus no longer needed such care. Though she laments a bit that she may be out of a job if nopony will ever need medical attention ever again should all of Equestria become genies. Though Meadowbrook pats her on the shoulder, reassuring her that even in a fully genified world. It will be satisfying to see the smiles of all former and would-be patients that nothing will ever harm them again.

Besides, up until every pony is genified. There will still be a need to give them the treatment she got from Meadowbrook… including the rest of the hospital staff. Which makes Redheart excited, as she surely wants to share this with every pony else working at the hospital. They both immediately go into the halls and start genifying every staff member they see on sight. The commotion would even attract Starlight Glimmer who happened to be near the hospital shortly after her trip to the spa. She gives a wink and grin of approval to both Meadowbrook and the newly genified Nurse Redheart. Proud of them for turning an essential part of society into another factory for the gradual genification of Equestria. If there were any remaining staff members left to genify, Starlight even got in on the fun. Before she takes her lamp to the waiting room and decides to take a rest.

Gauging interest for something...

Hey everyone, I thought I'd put up something of a poll that might bring something of a change for both I Dream of Twilight Sparkle and Geniequestria.

Asks and/or Submissions have become so rare at least from my side of Tumblr. And I miss having some sort of community input. Right now both IDOTS and Geniequestria seem to be just on my part... putting up the next story... but I don't want the more small-talk and/or interaction to just disappear. As such...

What I'm considering, is opening sideblogs each for both IDOTS and Geniequestria. Where they are purely roleplay blogs with text only replies to questions and/or interactions. I know it may be odd to just now have a more public roleplay come into play for IDOTS when the blog is more than a decade old. But it also provides some opportunity to sort of flesh out further and/or put up some more awareness of the AUs that take up both I Dream of Twilight Sparkle and Geniequestria each.

Though one more thing I want to note before getting to the details. I am a bit... nervous about opening up roleplay to both so publicly. As I know some roleplays can end up with nasty behavior. If I feel like someone is starting to be too mean or too attempting to be controlling of where a story is going. I withhold a right to end an interaction at any moment. Please be kind and considerate as possible. If this turns out to be more trouble than it's worth, I also withhold the right to just deactivate the roleplay side blogs. But I certainly hope it never has to come to that.

If you're interested enough, I want to make them separate blogs so they don't clutter the main pages since I know some roleplays can come across many, many, many reblogs. Wouldn't want those who just want to see the stories and/or asks I've done for both, and have to climb through pages of roleplay. And as for how each would work...

If I Dream of Twilight Sparkle gets a roleplay spin-off blog...

It'd open up for many of the characters in the IDOTS/Ask Genie Twilight universe. It wouldn't just be with Genie Twilight, Spike, and/or Starlight. Recent stories has made it so a much larger cast is capable of being interacted with. Just name a character (Though preferably a recurring canon character, one of the few OC's that are involved in IDOTS, or significant one-shot characters that I've featured in recent stories) and I can see what I can do

Maybe even some room to expand towards the Genie Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Sci-Twi from Ain't Never Had Friends Like Us as well if it's requested.

These would be mostly wholesome interactions. Many of which that would fit in line with the show. Although certainly some subjects could go dark (Ex: Talking to any of the spirits of the deceased like Applejack's parents about death for example) in tone.

Also, if you've been paying attention to the recent Earnest Empathetic Change story. You'd see that there's a timeskip by about 10 years. You won't be restricted to these future versions of the characters however. If you want to specifically talk to a more... present day version of the character (As in Post-S9 and probably shortly after Secrets of the Dragon's Tear) you'd fully have that option.

Just pick a character you'd like to interact with from the IDOTS AU, decide whether you want the Post-Ending of the End/SOTDT version or the 10 year timeskip version of the characters depicted in Earnest Empathetic Change. And we can arrange something.

If Geniequestria gets a roleplay spin-off blog...

It'd fall under many of the same rules that are in the pinned post over on Geniequestria. Although one big difference is, there's no promises that the interactions are canon to the story if you're portraying a character that hasn't had a story yet on Geniequestria. They may at least influence something whenever a certain character is brought up. But otherwise many canon character interactions with a Geniequestria genie would be more like a what if scenario that may or may not come to play later. (For any G5 fans who are roleplayers, yes this opens up the what if scenario depicted in the story from last September when the Mane 5 were genified as a possible scenario)

And if an OC is interacting with a Geniequestria character. Especially if it's with one of the genies. The interaction is mainly going to be about getting them to genify your OC. Potentially, this could result in eventually a visualization of your OC as a genie made by myself. But I can't promise that'd come too quickly after we've interacted. And just like how I mentioned in the pinned post, if I end up visualizing your OC as a genie. I will do only one of them. Do not roleplay with me purely to get all your OCs genified with sprite art.

As for what characters would be opened up. Basically anyone who's currently a genie (Which you can check over here to see who is, though it's everyone but Nova and Ember currently. As those are friends of mine's OCs). You do have the option of interacting with some of the non-genies. But I'm unsure if anyone would be going to interact with an AU called Geniequestria if they weren't here to speak to the genies. I figure that's kind of the main draw for interactions, especially as more and more characters are genified.

Many of the same do's or do not's are in play as in the pinned post. No god-modding your OC out of genification, or no helping the remaining non-genie members of the Mane 6 after genification. OCs are still not allowed to impact the main story too much. Even if it's in-character for your OC to disagree with Starlight's methods per se. It's not up to them to get her to change. And fighting her post-genification would only lead to a stalemate. (And in most cases, your OC should feel too good to outright deny everything Starlight says. That's kind of the nature of genifications in Geniequestria. Even the most reluctant change their tune once they've felt the transformation)

The tone of Geniequestria to far more mature subjects that are normally too much for IDOTS. But I also must warn that I don't want to go too far off the handle. Even as it seems Tumblr has sort of let-up in some regards to mature content. What with the whole "Are you sure?" screens. I don't want to get involved with roleplays involving explicit descriptions of sex, nor any mention of genitals or er... certain bodily fluids. Try to keep it in tone with Geniequestria stories where yes, naughtiness gets very much implied... but never too explicitly described and/or happening offscreen.

Also, reminder that any filly and colt-aged character was aged up by a wish in an earlier part of the story. And all male characters are Rule 63'd/become mares before or at the same time that they're transformed into genies. Any and all characters involved in the genification part of Geniequestria will become adult mares as Genies. That's a strict rule that I hope can be abided. In short... No filly-aged genies, and no male genies once transformed.

Finally a new Geniequestria story after a little while. So sorry for taking so long especially since technically the whole thing has existed for months working with TailMaker.

I must admit I've overloaded myself in the midst of doing much of Geniequestria this past year or so. And I hope to soon get in a position where Geniequestria is what I'm working on most. I'm still passionate about carrying this through but I am worried of just how long it might take me to complete the story the way I want to. And if I'll even able to finish by the time I do, as I don't know if/when real life might get in the way.

Starlight Glimmer was in a great mood, just about everything was going exactly to plan. Maybe some things are being slowed down then initially planned, such as Celestia’s approach to wait until the Gala for the mass genification of Canterlot. But given the entirety of the Crystal Empire, and Manehattan’s on their way there. There’s still no shortage of new genies, and there was no doubt in her mind that geniequality for all was becoming a reality.

That said, even the victorious need their relaxation time. There’s still so much to do, though luckily for her, there’s all eternity to do it. So as Starlight begins to plant roots in Ponyville as she gradually makes it her new home. (Or well, her home outside the true home that is her lamp.)

She decides to check in at the Ponyville Day Spa, run by the Spa Twins of Aloe and Lotus. She’ll find out if the twins' reputation in town are worthy of the praise they receive... of course, this doubly serves as adding a vital part of Ponyville’s commerce for genification activities.

She approaches the front desk in the waiting room, and rings the call bell a few times to catch the attention of the twins.

Not long after the bell was rung, one of the two sisters made their way to answer. Aloe, wearing a most professional smile, matching her beautiful pink coat and elegant blue mane.

"Why good afternoon, madam! How might I be of service?" she asked Starlight. Busy as she and Lotus were, she did not know of Starlight Glimmer's story, let alone her current ambitions.

Though the newcomer's fanciful attire, so to speak, certainly caught the spa pony's attention... How novel, and unique! How... exotic.

Lotus was not far behind, and approached with quite the same fascination as Aloe showed. "Oh, my! From far afield, are you?" she asked with a most courteous and curious smile.

Starlight bows her head politely to the twins "Greetings to the both of you! As for how I’m not from around here, you... could say that. I am a recent move-in to this town, and I wanted to fancy my first visit here. I've heard great things from those who have lived here much longer than I. I've even got an extensive look beforehand at a brochure that listed your types of Spa therapy. For this first visit, I won't be going too extraordinary. A mane styling + full body massage combo course, if you please"

In unison, the two spa ponies nodded with a gracious bow. "Certainly, madam. Right zis way," Aloe said, before the two led the genie-mare into the spacious and lavish spa rooms just beyond the reception. It was a quiet day today, it seemed, so waiting was not necessary for their latest guest. And their greatest, too, though neither yet knew it...

"My name is Aloe," said she herself,

"And mine is Lotus," replied her sister. "I'll be styling your mane today, whilst Aloe begins your massage." She gestured towards a massage table by the spa-side, all pristine and posh. Perfect for one such as Starlight, who thinks she certainly deserves some well-earned pleasures...

Starlight nodded and followed the twins to the table they had chosen for her. She climbs on up, and lays in a prone position on top of the table. "If you need me to remove my veil or leggings to make things easier, I can do that with my magic at any point during this session"

"We'll be certain to let you know, madam," said Aloe with a smile. Although she wondered briefly why that would be necessary instead of simply removing them by hoof... Of course, they did not know the significance of such garments.

"Now... just relax," came Lotus' delicate, dreamy voice. "As we show you ze marvels of unwinding. True rest and recovery~"

Aloe began to work her hooves softly and carefully into Starlight's shoulders, working with such practiced and majestic motions that all stress and tension began to fade away from them... Pleasurable pangs rippled faintly, all the way through Starlight Glimmer's body, as Lotus began to work on her mane.

"Ahhhhh~" Starlight was already seeing that the citizens of Ponyville's high regard for this place was far from unfounded. Aloe's hooves were as soft as a cloud but at the same time firm enough to relax any stiff muscles on Starlight's body.

Aloe herself felt something rather interesting as she felt Starlight's fur and skin. Something about it felt more smooth then most of her customers in the past. She observed as she rubbed the fur on Starlight's back. What she initially thinks is dandruff, is actually tiny sparks of pure magic. Now she's seen such sparks of magic during many sessions before, but that's only happened when they're asked to clean a unicorn's horn. It has never happened with anypony's fur, let alone as she would find... throughout their entire body!

As Aloe massaged Starlight, the volume of magic radiating from her was far more than just a curiosity. This was more than in even the more powerful unicorns she had ever tended to. She kept the pace and smoothness of her massage correctly, but her curiosity grew and grew for every moment she worked her talent. Her hooves descended, massaging and pleasuring Starlight's lower back, approaching her flanks.

"So, what brings you to Ponyville?" she asked, in a quiet and gentle tone, yet her inquisitiveness was not fully masked. The magic made her too curious!

"Oh, you could say I came here to find some new friends. After all, this IS the friendship capital of the world... is it not?~" She smirked. "My old home town was a tiny village, and while the community there is great. Especially nowadays, I might add~. I wanted to find another humble town, but with a much larger population to get to know. I have so much to share with everypony here... I can't wait until I've properly met everypony in town, and have given them the most tremendous gift of all~" Starlight elicits a soft moan as Aloe softly rubs her flanks and plot.

It was those last words that, for but a moment, caused the twins to pause. Lotus while she was tending Starlight's lavish mane, and Aloe while she rubbed and massaged her gorgeous rear…

"Tremendous gift?" asked Aloe, before her hooves returned to kneading Starlight's plot so dreamily. "My, zat certainly sounds... interesting!" Though her professional manner remained, as of course it would, the curiosity in her tone was now quite clear.

And perhaps, thanks to the twin’s wonderful work thus far, the genie mare might feel relaxed enough to divulge some of her intentions, or lead the two toward what must surely be their fate. This was a chance to relax, and yet... work always needed done, yes?~

Those hooves kneaded Starlight's shapely, smooth posterior as a baker would dough; freeing the stresses from every muscle...

Lotus had also noticed the magical sparks seeping through every brush of Starlight's mane as Aloe did through her fur. She quickly became about as curious as her sister about their newest customer.

Starlight heaves a long, relaxed sigh. Very much satisfied with the work of Aloe's massaging hooves. "Shall I turn over so you can massage my chest, or does your sister need me to be in this position a little longer for my mane?"

"Ah, yes, madam. I belie.... I believe my sister is quite finished," she said, looking over at Lotus.

Lotus came to, as if having been in a brief daze. "Oh, y-yes! Why yes indeed..." She, after all, had noticed the sparkles herself. And though her practiced hooves worked as majestically as Aloe's, she couldn't help but hesitate as she questioned the source of the magic. She, too, had never seen so much at once.

"And it may be best to remove your.. attire now, madam~" continued Lotus, though her mind reeled with the puzzling question as to just who this visitor was!

Starlight breifly gets off the table and floats up a mirror to look at her mane, most of the back remained the same but it was the front that was certainly different. It was now curled to the side rather than her more matronly look, the curl going over her horn rather than splitting her mane in half. She has a gentle smile seeing her new look, she still sort of prefers her older cut. But she wouldn't mind having this style again from time-to-time. "Oh, very nice work, Lotus! I'll have to remember this on occasion~"

She puts the mirror back, laying back down onto the table, and nods as Lotus instructs her to remove her attire. She charges her horn for a brief moment, and her veil and leggings all disappear in a flash. The only remaining part of her attire was her ear piercings, but those were welcome to stay on as ear accessories weren't too much of an obstacle. Starlight then turns herself over and lays flat on her back. So Aloe can finish up the full body massage.

And as Starlight positioned herself anew, the two spa owners continued their masterful massages. Hooves swathing and furrowing so finely over the fur on Starlight's front, letting pleasures cascade and blossom all throughout her magical being. Those suspicious sparkles glimmered all the more, all but dazzling the spa mares. Her forelegs and hindlegs alike were smoothly serviced, ensuring that pleasure rippled towards every inch of her being; hooves of pink and blue tending to a coat of luscious lilac.

"What a striking style your accessories have, madam," said Lotus of the vanished veil and leggings.

"Ooooooooo aaaaaaaah mmmmmmmmmmm~" Is all Starlight could audibly express as the sisters continued the massage especially as they rubbed all four of her limbs. Aloe's massaging hooves alone felt great, but the both of them working together was just a dream come true. There was only one other time she could recall where she felt greater than this, and that was... her transformation into a genie back at the Canterlot archives.

As she finally gets a chance to respond to Lotus' complimenting her attire. She turns her head and smiles, "Hehe... would you and your sister like a pair of your very own, perhaps?~"

"Would we? Oh goodness, I'm sure!" said Lotus with a musically light laugh. All while her hooves worked their wonders upon Starlight's beautiful body. From her front, to her legs, to her flanks, to her rear, to her tail, the lilac pony was awash in the marvels of their treatment.

"Hah, but with our ever-busy list of clients, we wish we could take ze time to get some," said Aloe.

"Agreed," said Lotus. "Indeed, madam, you picked ze ideal day to visit, when zat often-busy list found itself quite quiet for once."

But little did they realize what they just said, and to whom....

Starlight immediately responds with some sinister laughter, before sitting up. "Then perhaps... for your pleasantries you've given me today... I should reward the both of you... with a happy ending of my own making~" She then teleports off the table before levitating another table from nearby, reforming her veil and leggings before putting the table perfectly horizontal next to the one she was just on. She then gently places Aloe and Lotus on each of the two tables.

"Wh-What?" said Aloe, suddenly.

"Huh? But... we haven't finished your treatment yet," said Lotus, and both stared at their customer with newfound confusion. Not that either had much experience reacting to a change of tone quite like Starlight displayed, and their puzzlement turned almost to outright shock once they found themselves levitated onto those tables!

"Don't worry about that, maybe I cut it a little short. But I can assure that you two did a fantastic job, I feel fully renewed already. So just sit tight, relax, and let all your wishes come true~" Starlight then charges her horn and creates two pairs of disembodied hooves made purely of a magic, she places them on each of the twins. Turning them over if they weren't already prone, and then massaging them on their back.

Before either of the spa ponies could protest, they felt those ethereal hooves upon their bodies, touching and tending far more finely than could be believed... Those magic-wrought hooves moved with unprecedented grace, and all that stopped the two from submitting completely to their touch was the suddenness and shock of it all. And yet, they could not resist the relief those magical masterful hooves brought. "O-Oh my...." gasped Aloe.

Starlight continues to massage the spa workers in a similar manner that they had just done to her, rubbing their full bodies and loosening every muscle along the way. She turns them over to get their chests as well as their own hooves. All in the meantime, Starlight conjures up a fancy decanter-like bottle similar to the Day spa's bottles of moisturizer with two entrances on the top. She pops open both of the stoppers and lays the bottle on the floor below and in front of the two tables. Both of the twins are so enamored by Starlight's massage that they don't realize their pony tails are acting strangely...

"This is... Mmmhhh..." Lotus attempted, but the rush of relief helped drown out any concerns or questions she might have shared.

Aloe's body shivered with pleasure, drawing an erotic, dulcet gasp from her lips. "I've never felt so... so..." she too struggled to find the words. Were they to berate this sudden gesture from their client, question it, or merely welcome it?

All the while, though, their beautiful pony tails began to stretch and siphon towards the bottle... Pulling towards it, little by little, until both tail tips touched either spout.

"O-OHH!~"

"MMH!?~"

Starlight then smirks as she then uses the disembodied hands and begins to specifically focus on the twins' hindlegs. but rather than simply rubbing them. she starts shaping them as if they were clay. She rubs on up til' she gets to the twins' shapely hips, then she pushes the legs together. A gentle circular rub is all it takes to slowly make the line separating their limbs disappear until they form a singular pink and blue curvy and wavy tail that replaces each of the twins' lower halves.

The twins' faces arranged into expressions of sheer bliss! "What's happening to u-us?... What is... Mmmhhhh!" moaned Aloe, her face stricken with such a bright blush!

"Who are y-you?... What IS this... this... Oohhhhhhh, zis fabulous feeling!?~" cried Lotus, her smile spreading wide.

As their lower halves were stroked, caressed, sculpted anew into long, luscious, luxurious tails, their gasps filled the spa like song. As if the loss of hindlegs and gaining of these strange smoky tails was the truest sensation of relief their spa had ever seen! Their eyes all but rolled back, as their tongues lolled lustrously from their mouths. Shapely equine hips swelled and widened, befitting those wavering tails. Tails that tethered to the bottle, connecting tight!

"Ahhhh, I admit it must have been a little rude of me to not introduce myself earlier. Especially to such a classy pair of mares like you two. But my name is Starlight Glimmer, I was once a simple unicorn... or maybe simple is putting it too lightly. as even then I rivaled even your local princess in power~

But on one fateful night not too long ago, I found myself discovering, partly due to said princess... a power so great. That I just had to share with all pony kind... remember when I mentioned I had a tremendous gift for everypony in Ponyville?~ What you are receiving right now... is exactly what I have in store for the rest of this friendly town. You shall join me, as a beautiful pair of wish-granting genies~.

Your spa won't be just a place for relaxation, you shall be granting ponies long-sought after dreams and giving them an experience... that will last for eternity~"

Starlight continues to massage the two slowly closer to their vessel as she monologues, beginning to work on the twins torso above their hips. By now the two were slowly being slid off the table by the vessel's and Starlight's power, their heads further away from the edge of the table they were adjacent to.

Aloe and Lotus couldn't bring themselves to fight the pleasure filling them, nor did they truly want to. As they slid slowly from the tables, their tails were smoothly pulled into their vessel…

"Genies...?" asked Lotus, dreamy-eyed and orgasmic.

"Oooh, just think.... Genies~!" giggled Aloe, similarly drunk on delight. Such sultry gasps they gave, as they were slowly sucked downward into their new vessel, pleasurably embracing the gift Starlight had in store for them. A new eternal fate and calling, and a growing desire to share such a thrilling transformation with ALL of Ponyville!

As the twins' upper torso was beginning to stretch, their forehooves begin to stretch and warp around their back, and travel from there until they were again at the front, doing it a few more times, the twins felt like they were both somehow being both hugged and massaged by themselves as their hooves spiraled around their bodies. The two were almost entirely off the table at this point, if it weren't for the magic of the vessel they certainly would have fallen off. But the vessel's grasp is strong enough to defy gravity as the twins' shoulders and heads still rest quite peacefully at the very ends of the tables.

Even as all that remained was their heads and shoulders, their looks of bliss didn't falter. Sheer pleasure, erotic and arousing, coursed through their bodies in no way felt before. Such novel, exotic, mystifying delight, resonating through their changing and siphoning forms.

"Ahhhhhhh~" they sighed, as those shoulders too were sucked into their new vessel. And with lidded eyes and dreamy smiles, their heads followed right behind...

As it happened, the last word to whisper from Aloe's pleasure-stricken lips was, "Genies....~"

Two simultaneous clinks ring as the entire being of the twins are collected within. The bottle then begins to change too, the clear and transparent glass becoming on one side pink, and the other blue. Something akin to the twins' very similar cutie mark fades onto the front, although the flower in their cutie marks being siphoned into or rising out of a vessel directly below it. The changed cutie mark emblematic of the forever changed destiny of the twins.

Starlight picks up the vessel, removes both of the stoppers. Before placing it back on the ground to prepare for the twins re-entrance as a pair of gorgeous genies!

Once Starlight removed the stoppers, there was but a moment of stillness... and then, from the fathoms of the bottle, there came such dreamy dulcet voices, giggling keenly. Up from the vessel's spouts blossomed plumes of smoke, pink and blue together, as Aloe and Lotus emerged right behind them! From either spout, the spa twins appeared wearing reverent smiles, as well as exotic veils and golden cuffs! Posing proudly, awash in erupting pleasure, the two spread their arms wide in utter reverence!

"Ooooohhhhhhh, YYYYYESSSS~!" cried Aloe, almost teary-eyed with joy.

"Now ZIS is pleasure! ZIS is satisfaction!" then said Lotus!

The two new genies were a sight to behold. Such beautiful mares, made all the more gorgeous by their flowing genie tails, and erotic genie garb. They, too, were now perfect!

The colors of the sisters' veil and leggings were the same as their corresponding mane and tail between the siblings... everything remaining in a perfect yin-yang between the twins.

"Now that's what I'd like to call... the genie treatment~" Starlight smugly commented to the twins, still reeling from their wonderful transformation.

Aloe and Lotus wavered slowly, majestic and fluid as a mirage, as they explored themselves. Lotus looked upon her shining cuffs with cooing joy, while Aloe looked down at her genie tail with a gleeful squeal!

"The genie treatment you say?~" said Lotus, voice breathy with lingering pleasure.

"Hmmm... A-heheh. I dare say we ought to practice it upon some patrons, such as..." began Aloe, hoof toying at her chin. "Say, our entire client list~" As she said it, her shapely genie hips gave a smooth, sexy sway.

"Why stop at just your waiting clients~. You should put a great big advertisement for 1 FREE Spa treatment. You may end up initially busier than ever before... but I bet you could coax your first wave of clients to help deal with the new influx of ponies that will be lining up soon" Starlight wickedly cackles a little

"Oh, but if I may speak a particular condition... if one of either Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, or Rainbow Dash enter. I need you to not genify them yourselves, and notify me beforehand. I personally want to give them the genie treatment they deserve... and if you can coax them into making a wish that can be interpreted as an excuse to genify them... I. will. be. there~" Starlight gives the twins a determined stare and a wicked smile

"Just about everypony else is fair game though. Genies have so much more freedom than those dusty old pony tales depict~. You girls enjoy yourselves, ta ta for now! I'll see you two again sometime~"

As Starlight explained and prepared to leave, the two spa ponies listened to her words. Wearing smiles as devilish and sly as her own, they nodded. Why Starlight wanted them in particular, they did not know, but Twilight and her friends would remain, of course, all for Starlight's taking!

As the lilac genie took her leave, Aloe and Lotus bowed in unison. "See you again, madam Starlight~!". And when Starlight left, she could hear them giggling with sheer joy behind her!

A wonderful massage, that shifted into the formation of 2 more newly satisfied genies. Starlight's days just keep on getting better and better. There truly was no better feeling than not just being a genie, but empowering others to gradually over time complete her ultimate goal of geniequality for all...

G5 THOUGHTS - Misty Brightdawn

Hey, I don’t normally do a lot of these anymore. But I suddenly got the feeling of wanting to do a sort of.. analysis? Essay? I don’t really know what to call it. But regardless…

In my last post, I was kinda critical of G5 over a small scene and even kind of delved into my rather negative thoughts about G5 recently. It doesn’t help that my words of how long G5 is even going to last seems to have become foreboding now that we know Make Your Mark is ending by the end of this year. While Tell Your Tale continues onward for another season, and it will become the new main part of G5 going forward.

This time however, I’m going to provide something on G5 that I am more positive about. And that is the character of Misty Brightdawn.

I will say it right now. I think Misty is the best part of G5 as of right now. I don’t mean any offense to the core 5 before Misty made it a new Mane 6. But seriously, a pony that was adopted by the main villain and unfortunately basically forced to be their minion because Opaline is all she knows essentially until she meets the Main cast of G5 is an interesting story to follow. For anyone who’s ever had a controlling mother figure in their life, or just knows how awful that kind of life can be. She’s instantly sympathetic. It provides so much fuel for interesting stories then any other character currently in G5 and once she joins the main cast. She kinda serves as the true Fluttershy of the gang. Up to and including personality and a butterfly themed cutie mark (As much as Hitch was given the whole animal schtick, he’s always felt more like the Applejack of the group). Do you remember the old concept for G5? In a way we still sort of got the unicorn Fluttershy, and earth pony Twilight in both Misty and Sunny. We didn’t quite get Pegasus Pinkie, instead having a more unicorn Pinkie in Izzy… but you get the idea.

But continuing on, I even mentioned it in the previous post. That one of the few remaining reasons to keep watching G5 is to see where they take Misty from here. The end of Chapter 4 showed she’s not just going to be a new ally/friend. She may be an outright spy on Opaline (Since apparently she’s a huge idiot that can’t see the signs of Misty’s betrayal). What happens to Misty from here should be interesting to see. And what will the final confrontation when Opaline is ultimately defeated be like? What will Opaline’s fate be? How will Misty feel about it? Even if Opaline’s not a good stepmother, She was the one that ultimately took care of her in her young life.

I mean… I suppose G5 has the option to redeem Opaline… buuuuut… excuse me while I say how problematic that would be. And let’s even pretend the whole OPALINE WOULD HAVE LET SPARKY DIE IN THE CHAPTER 4 FINALE didn’t happen for a moment. Supposedly, Opaline has been around since Celestia and Luna were fillies and maybe even was the catalyst for why Equestria is now longer in the golden age of Friendship anymore. Just how do you go about redeeming someone that was evil for that long? I mean, you could bring up Nightmare Moon I suppose and how Luna was stuck in the moon for 1000 years but that was done so out of desperation. Maybe you could say seeing Opaline who was just a little filly who wanted to be friends with Celestia and Luna but was ignored to be something but. It just seems a lot of time has gone by for Opaline to possibly reflect on what they’ve done but not feel remorse for it..

And well… if you include the whole Sparky thing from the Chapter 4 finale… she’s arguably threatened to do worse than almost any G4 villain has in the past. Not one of the terrible trio that was never redeemed threatened to murder a child. So if by G4 standards… Tirek, Cozy, and Chrysalis are not redeemable (At least, within what FiM shows. I know it’s totally up to fanfics if they get redeemed later in some fashion) then what chance does Opaline have after being a terrible stepmother to Misty AND almost killing Sparky. It just would not be a good choice. Opaline either needs to be sealed away forever or even… *GASP* die. And while this probably would happen in like the series finale or something perhaps… it’s still something to think about how Misty would feel that her mother figure, regardless of how evil she was, is just gone like that.

Of course, another subject we can get to is of course the wonder who Misty’s real parents are. Are they even still alive? Was Opaline at all responsible for why they’re missing? How did Misty get into Opaline’s clutches in the first place? (And I mean as in more details then just Opaline found her as a filly) It’s interesting avenues to explore. I’d like G5 to totally go gung ho about what Misty’s full story is. It finally gave G5 something that G4 didn’t already provide…

…OR IS IT?

…Ok to be fair, there is nothing in specifically Friendship is Magic itself that is analogous with Misty at all. But I’d like to remind you of a certain spin-off from Friendship is Magic. One that coincidentally turned 10 recently… I mean of course… the Equestria Girls movies/series.

You may be asking… who in all of the Equestria Girls media was the closest we had to Misty in G4? No one in all of EQG had a villainous stepmother forcing them to do their bidding. And that’s true… but it doesn’t always have to be a family member when it comes to the subject of abuse. Sometimes it can come from fellow peers at school… and even the higher-ups at said school… I am of course talking about…

Sci-Twi! AKA the Human World Twilight that debuted in Friendship Games (…Or Rainbow Rocks if you include the post-credits scene. but you get the idea). Unlike Misty, Sci-Twi probably has a fine enough family at home. I can’t imagine that the human versions of Twilight Velvet and Night Light are too much different from the pony versions. But regardless, here’s the similarities between Sci-Twi and Misty.

They were both generally loners (Although I suppose Sci-Twi did have Dean Cadence and her dog Spike) before they met up with either the Mane 5 of G5 or the HuMane 6 in Equestria Girls. (And needless to say, they both become permanent mainstays of the cast)

They both have (or well, at least had) some sort of magic device they carry with them while they’re meeting up with the main characters. Sci-Twi’s was that thing that sucked up magic, while Misty’s was what she uses to contact Opaline with from long distances.

They are both led astray and gaslit by two elders who blackmail them with serious punishments if they fail. Opaline for Misty, and Principal Cinch for Sci-Twi

They’re both of a more shy type of character, which was notable in Sci-Twi since it was a pretty stark difference from the Pony Twilight we knew. But it didn’t mean she was so different from Twilight that she was just a completely different character. Circumstances changed in their life that resulted in differences in their personality and behavior.

They both get that moment where they’re confronted by the main character(/s) when they had done something of note that was dangerous or was clearly helping the villain. I compare when Sunset was yelling at Sci-Twi after she inadvertently released portals during a motorcycle race that put many in danger with the moment in Chapter 4 when the Mane 5 found out Misty had been assisting Opaline the whole time. And another similarity between the same similarity, they don’t do this if they’re not coerced by a villain. Misty didn’t try to kidnap Sparky because she wanted to, Opaline promised her a cutie mark for doing so. And Cinch was blackmailing Sci-Twi with threatening to deny an application to Everton.

Granted unlike getting a Cutie Mark. Getting into Everton is something that Twilight decides to decline in favor of moving to Canterlot High instead where she could be around new friends. But the main point is both are coerced by something that both characters that we knew they were striving for from the moment we’re introduced to them.

And one more similarity I'll point out is that they're both technically an antagonist but not the kind of antagonist typical of a "minion". Misty's still out there causing some form of trouble for the G5 main cast though is often too clumsy and awkward for it to amount to much. And Sci-Twi's own actions result in some pretty dangerous situations throughout the climax of the film. I actually consider Twilight the antagonist of Friendship Games even if Cinch is the more obvious antagonist, though she and the Crystal Prep girls feel more like a driving force for the sympathetic antagonist we have in Sci-Twi that's forced to become a REAL menace when she transforms into Midnight Sparkle. They're both by all means reasons stuff goes wrong for our heroes, but we feel too bad for them to give them much flack for it.

Of course I am not saying both characters are the same. There are certainly stark differences and contexts between the two. But at their core, Sci-Twi… at least in Friendship Games specifically was the only part of G4 we had anything close to what Misty provides in G5. It’s a different type of abuser, but it’s abuse all the same. As it seems pretty implied that Sci-Twi is often bullied as an outcast in Crystal Prep (While I’m sure she has legit research interest in Everton, part of the reason she wants to be independently studying is probably so she doesn’t have to deal with other students) and how the administration adds to Sci-Twi’s misery by not just doing nothing about it but almost encouraging it, and twisting in some of their own cruelty by forcing Twilight to investigate their opponents so that they may have an advantage so they can keep their “perfect record”. The ending where Twilight transforms into Midnight Sparkle after the song “Unleash the Magic” could just about be an allegory for peer pressure for many things. The effects of what bullying and a school administration that won’t help could do to a person.

Now it’s not like we’re going to get like a Midnight Misty or whatever would be an evil form of Misty be called. But Misty still has something she could share with Sci-Twi. And from an even younger age from her teen years. She was found as a filly by Opaline and she was taken care of by the Alicorn. How well remains to be seen, but it’s clear she has a pretty complicated relationship with her “mother”. Misty’s sheltering seems to have prevented her from learning what her real talent/calling is. So she’s stuck dreaming of eventually having her mark at last. Misty’s main motivation for listening to Opaline is getting her cutie mark at last. I wouldn’t be surprised if Opaline never actually had the means to give Misty a cutie mark (Granted it’s a bit null and void now that Misty does have her cutie mark. But Opaline doesn’t know that yet). But if that’s the case, it will still be a meaningful conversation if Misty ever finds out Opaline wouldn’t have been able to give her what she promised. Maybe it’d even be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and Misty won’t even want to live with Opaline anymore now that she knows just how much Opaline has lied to her for most of her life.

For me personally, both Misty and Sci-Twi are the central reasons to keep watching their respective parts of the MLP franchises. I was not a fan of the first EQG movie, and while Rainbow Rocks was definitely a more than marginal improvement. Something about it still didn’t quite grab me, but its post-credits scene certainly gave me some intrigue. And when it came time for Friendship Games, I was not disappointed. Sci-Twi felt she had hidden depths that I wouldn’t think Equestria Girls would get to in favor of just putting the ponies in high school movie cliches. Sci-Twi basically single handedly turned around my opinion on Equestria Girls as IMO, it got more interesting as they gradually downplayed many of the flaws of the first movie as time went on.

And Misty’s kinda done the same thing in some way for G5. Granted, I definitely think the G5 movie is way better than the first Equestria Girls movie. But as Make Your Mark approached early on. It kinda became clear that the series just isn’t grabbing me in the same way FiM was. And any attempts to try to connect to G4, AKA try to give it more intrigue often fell flat for one reason or another. It took introducing Misty before I had something to motivate me to continue watching. (..Although even Misty’s presence has not made me watch all of Tell Your Tale). I need to continue seeing G5 to see what they do with Misty. It's the main motivation I have for seeing more of G5. It’s just so sad however that it seems Make Your Mark is ending after this year in favor of Tell Your Tale. Maybe they’ll be able to wrap much of Misty’s story by the two remaining chapters we have left and it’ll feel more ok that it’s ending this year rather than have it drag on for too long. But who knows how much room they’ll have when they have to consider storylines for the other 5.

And I apologize if maybe I’m underrating Tell Your Tale a bit. I’ve heard there’s actually some genuine good episodes in it. It’s just that the art style is not that great… and then there’s of course the moment they let Sparky fart in Misty’s face for a punchline. I don’t care how many good episodes Tell Your Tale has, if the series is allowed to go to that level of toilet humor. I’d rather avoid it altogether. The moment they let that happen to one of the most sympathetic and implied abused (Even if it’s mostly emotional than physical) characters that MLP has ever had is when Tell Your Tale lost me as a potential viewer. The only character in G5 that deserves what Misty got in that episode right now is Opaline. ESPECIALLY after what just happened in the Chapter 4 finale. (…And even then, fart jokes are just still too gross)

Anyway, I think that’s all I have to say on the subject. Both Misty and Sci-Twi gave me intrigue into parts of MLP I was otherwise unsure about and without their additions I may have certainly never watched much more of either Equestria Girls or the G5 series. They provided the hook I needed to continue to see more even if I remain iffy on the core concepts that have been there since the original movies in both EQG and G5. Misty’s still a little new compared to Sci-Twi, but hopefully she continues to go in interesting places with her in the story. Just as Sci-Twi did before when I suddenly did become invested in the EQG series from Friendship Games and onward. It’s almost too bad we may only have six months left before Make Your Mark is finished... but let’s hope there’s enough Misty content to satisfy everybody before it does.

THE ANCIENT EQUESTRIAN ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM - POST-MAKE YOUR MARK CHAPTER 4 EDITION

Hello there! I’m here to sort of give a follow-up to a post I made a while back about G5 after having established it has a connection with G4 how it might have to go forward about it. Ever since then, the G4-G5 connection has been… inconsistent at best. The comics perhaps have the most direct link what with the Mane 5 meeting Discord which is never referred to in either Make Your Mark and presumably not in Tell Your Tale (I have not watched much tell your tale, though sorry. I feel like I just can’t get past the art style and the fart jokes I heard about they did with Sparky (Did they really have to do that to one of the most sympathetic characters in all of MLP? Misty did not deserve that one iota) absolutely was a deal breaker for me.)

And Chapter 3 while it did have the Twilight cameo and maybe a vague idea of how Opaline rised to power… it didn’t really give us a whole lot to go off of it feels like. So I didn’t really feel like giving much thoughts on it.

But Chapter 4 has certainly provided something that’s substantial enough to discuss… but I’m not confident it’s for all the right reasons.

For the sake of those who have not seen Chapter 4 of Make your Mark, I shall put the rest after a Keep reading line section. As the first thing you’ll see.. is a very significant image that is a pretty direct spoiler from Make Your Mark Chapter 4. If you have already seen Chapter 4, or don’t really care enough to avoid spoilers feel free to continue reading.

Before I really dig into this thing, there is some speculation that this is all just more gas lighting by Opaline about her origins to Misty and none of the details are true since there seems to be multiple versions of how Opaline came to be a threat. But… I’m not sure I see any intentional use of the “Joker origin story” trope where everything Opaline has said about her origin is a lie. I’m not sure the writers will actually make that a plot point when it seems like they have it all simplified for children watching (They won’t even share what Zipp knows about alicorns to the audience for crying out loud!). I feel like the idea that Opaline may be lying about this entirely may be giving the writers of G5 a little too much credit here. If I’m wrong, I’ll fully own up to it. But for now, let’s presume that Opaline is telling the truth or at least mostly the truth.

So to get this out of the way…

WHAT THE BUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK?!

So… let me get this straight… Opaline has been around ever since Celestia and Luna were fillies. That in itself is hard to map out the time for that. But then you gotta start thinking. If she’s been around for that long? What in Equestria was she doing in the time since the royal sisters were kids up until G5? In short, what was she doing DURING the events of Friendship is Magic and so on and so forth? Why didn’t she say take advantage when the Celestia was the only ruler for about 1000 years?

And if she’s the one that ruined the peace in Equestria ultimately, why does she feel way too incompetent to have been the one to to have done so? Opaline doesn’t even find out Misty has betrayed her at the end, if she can’t even keep track of her ONE AND ONLY MINION. How in Equestria did she end the most peaceful era in Equestria’s history?

Another question that might be even worse? How come Celestia and Luna didn’t tell Twilight or the rest of Equestria about Skyros? I mean yeah, obviously neither Opaline or Skyros actually existed meta-wise when developing Friendship is Magic. But this is the kind of stuff that seems to prove that the idea of connecting G4 and G5 was always just an afterthought. This just doesn’t work with what Friendship is Magic has established even with it’s vague look at Alicorn lore. Apparently a land of the Alicorns exists now? Just how many Alicorns are there actually? Apparently the Journal of Two Sisters implied there was a place of Alicorns, but the problem of course is Friendship is Magic contradicted said journal with Flurry Heart’s birth in Season 6.

Also, if Opaline has lived that long. That actually makes it very possible for Celestia, Luna, Twilight, Cadence, and Flurry Heart to all be still around somewhere. Cause I guess G5 just confirmed that alicorns are truly immortal in terms of dying from old age. Honestly, at this point I wonder if things are about to get crazy and it turns out the rest of the Mane 6 got to become Alicorns too and are hanging out in Skyros or whatever just for an excuse to return all the beloved characters to G5. It’d be an utterly stupid thing to do, but it almost feels like it isn’t impossible the way they’ve approached the connection between G4 and G5 so far.

It’s just… ugh, ridiculous. Opaline was ignored by Celestia and Luna as fillies and she waits like how ever many years before bringing Equestria down during TWILIGHT’S reign rather then while Celestia (The one she probably blames more for why she plotted to take magic away) wasruling. Like why? Why did she wait so damn long? Perhaps it’s another case of simply being sealed somewhere for a definite amount of time just like Luna on the moon for a thousand years for all we know. But right now the details are sparse about this and it’s never been said that Opaline got out of some sealed space like Limbo or Tartaurus

But what is perhaps the absolute worst crime of the image…

Regardless, while Chapter 4 of Make Your Mark has some pretty decent and cute moments. It might even be the best piece of G5 media ever since the movie came out. However, any connection they make with G4 continues to be a headache that adds more questions than answers. There has been nothing to really downplay the idea that it’d have been much better if they had made sure G5 was it’s own universe just like G1 and G3 are entirely different universes from G4.

Another worry I have about G5 is actually something that might be out of Hasbro’s control. Netflix has a tendency to cancel shows, even if they’re doing well. How much time does G5 have before Netflix decides it’s done? Supposedly Make Your Mark has 1 more special and probably another Chapter/Season to go. But I wonder if the team behind G5 are going to be under the possibility that this next batch of Make Your Mark could be the last one if Hasbro and/or Netflix decide they’re not renewing for another season. Granted, even Friendship is Magic had to deal with that possibility. As Magical Mystery Cure would have been the series finale had FiM not been as successful as it was to get renewed for Season 4 and so on. But that was a time where Hasbro still had been very profitable, where as lately there’s been reports of them possibly selling some of their properties, not to mention laying off employees. How much can G5 of MLP carry on under these circumstances? There’s even fears that My Little Pony as a whole may end altogether based on how bad Hasbro has fallen financially. I don’t know if it’s quite that bad for them. But I wonder if it really says something for the company now that it looks like it has clearly not captured the same lightning in a bottle that G4 did.

Now obviously, I’ve said before that even if G5 turned out to be amazing it’d still have a hard time living up to G4 just because the peaks FiM achieved are unsustainable. Part of the reason FIM was so successful was the surprise that an MLP show grew such a diverse audience in the first place. But now that MLP has attracted a larger amount of fans then expected, it just becomes… the status quo that there are people who you normally wouldn’t think be watching a show about cartoon ponies. It’s no longer a shock that a grown man is watching a show about ponies with G5, that was part of what made G4 successful. People wondering why adults of all ages were watching a show presumably for little girls, some of whom became fans of the shows themselves as their curiosity grew. G5 wasn’t going to be able to capture that feeling all over again as a grown man watching MLP is now old news. That’s why even if it was great, it’d have a hard time repeating what brought so many to G4.

It’s even harder when… it just doesn’t feel like G5 stands out much in my opinion. The Mane 5 (Or well, new Mane 6 now after the end of this chapter. In fact Misty just may very well be G5’s best character) are all fine characters in their own right, but the Equestria in G5 seems… lifeless compared to the one in G4. They’re almost always in the same 3 locations that have been there since the movie. There’s no sense of real exploration and real fantasy like there was in G4. While most of FiM takes place in Ponyville there was still the very idea that Equestria is a wide map, with even locations that are only mentioned and not ever actually gone to. That was a disappointment before in G4 where we never got see like Saddle Arabia for instance. But we still got plenty of other areas throughout G4’s run besides Ponyville, Canterlot, and Cloudsdale. And that's also ignoring the fact that besides Sparky and the animals, we've really not seen any other species from G4 still. (The cliffhanger of Chapter 4 seems to imply more dragons are coming but... I wonder if it's too little, too late at this point)

It feels like for me, the only reason to keep watching G5 is to see how Misty’s story plays through. And whatever is going to be Opaline’s final comeuppance. (Granted her own idiocy seems to be a comeuppance for her every episode). Izzy can still be fun to watch too, but otherwise the only other interest in terms of tying things with G4 just often makes things worse as with the story about Opaline knowing Celestia and Luna when they were fillies. Perhaps I’m just overthinking things too much, and I’m sure some may just insult me by simply calling me a G4 purist. Call me one all you like if you want. But something about G5 has not left me as invested with the series as I was with Friendship is Magic. I’ve given it a chance to try to warm up on me over time. But not much is doing it for me right now. I’ll continue to watch to see how Make Your Mark proceeds, as I mentioned earlier the next set could even be the end of G5 since I’m very aware of how much Netflix has canned things early alongside with Hasbro facing financial problems. I won’t say if I have a solution for MLP’s future as I don’t think I have a real solid idea. Every possibility runs it’s own risk. Like if G5 is considered a failure, and Hasbro decides Gen 6 is basically a reboot of Gen 4 with the Mane 6 we knew and loved for one last attempt to keep the Gen 4 fans invested or just pulling the plug and letting Gen 6 be entirely new even at the risk that it interests almost nobody.

Maybe it’s not quite THAT bad for G5 as of yet as it’s still only a few years since it started and I apologize if it maybe I'm overreacting to a small scene. Maybe depending on how many views Chapter 4 of Make Your Mark gets we’ll soon get news if Make Your Mark has been green lighted for more past what we know is still coming. For now though, G5’s only added more questions then answers for me personally since the last time I talked about the link between it and G4. And it may be at a point where it’s just too late to fix anything. Perhaps it’d be a smarter move to just try to ignore any reference to G4, or just to try to consider it an AU future of G4. Because I still have the same conclusion I had whenI last covered the “Ancient Equestrian Elephant in the Room”, G5 has some fine characters and content on it’s own. But if you take it as a Friendship is Magic sequel, then it has many shortcomings that currently look like they just can’t try to fix without making things worse.

I wouldn’t fault the G5 staff if they decided that they want to try to ignore G4 altogether. But I feel like at this very moment, Hasbro execs are breathing down their throats, and telling them that they must write a way to say… fit in the return of Twilight Sparkle in G5. And the dread of what else they could fuck up about the connection between the two generations getting even worse as a result.

About Geniequestria...

Hey guys, I thought I'd put up something I feel like I need to say. Don't worry, I am not CANCELING Geniequestria outright. I still intend to follow through as best I can on carrying out the story that I brainstormed with not just one, but three good friends of mine now.

But... I do need to say some things about the near future of this blog. This blog was supposed to be a collab project from the very start, though unfortunately I suppose life got very busy for one of my best friends to do their part past the pilot and Trixie's Genification. And while I've generally toughed it out from the beginning of the Our Town stuff until now. It's... tough having to do what was meant to be split between two people all on one person. And it's gotten to become a load to write the next story.

I think the main problem is I'm putting the same amount of effort into side stories that are somewhat meaningless to the overall main story arc other then the fact it adds more genified characters that may or may not have a part in the main story. And that takes time to carefully write while also considering I'm still working on some stories over on my main pony blog I Dream of Twilight Sparkle and also time for me to just have some fun playing games and talking with online friends.

What the main point I'm saying is, I may need to shift how side stories are done soon. I do have one or two side stories technically already written (Although one may be waiting a while as I want to get somewhere in the main story before getting to that one). What I mean like is side stories may have little-to-no dialouge. Sounding more like a recap of the moment certain characters are/were genified

I do of course intend to keep the main stories with dialouge and stuff, but sadly if I'm to get a better pace with the story. I may need to chop down the length of side stories by a great margin by simply getting into what happens/happened. And I'm sorry if that makes the side stories a lot less exciting. As stuff like Dr. Fauna's genification, and Coloratura's genification was ALOT of fun to make and work with friends about.

The only way I can really keep the side stories they way they are, is if I could have a consistent co-writer to help write some of the stories for me. But I don't want to drag someone into something in which I can't properly compensate them for their help.

At the very least, I'll promise to keep doing the sprite images I'm capable of doing for the side stories. But the writing in the side stories is going to have to be cut down if the majority of this blog is going to be solely written by myself. (Some recent stories technically weren't even all made by myself. I have had 2 friends roleplay the situation in order to create the chapter)

I still have some content based on the old way I did side stories to come. And you'll see those at some point, but if there's a lack of dialogue (But still with pictures) for an upcoming side story, you'll know it was written after this post. Many of the ones that are still full side-stories that are still coming have technically existed for months now... (Ex: The genification of Daisy and Lily? That was whipped up in a roleplay back in August of last year) and you can see why it feels like for me that I'm going at such a slow pace with this. I also don't want to burden anyone else's schedule with these.

So in short, side stories on Geniequestria might be getting cut down in length in order to hopefully soon pick up the pace of progress I want to make in Geniequestria. The extent of what Geniequestria's scope was just over time felt like a weight that goe heavier on my shoulders with each passing day. And I hope that leaving a little less pressure on what will by the end of this thing make up the bulk of this thing, will allow me to ease into progressing things better soon.

Hmm, a bit of an update on this. Finally busted my ass to try to get the sidebar links back. But it stops me when trying to save a preview of all the links. I think they may have just broke most of the sidebar on redux in general. Some other time I'll have to make a separate post that serves as an index of some of the major stuff on I Dream of Twilight Sparkle.

Because trust me I understand that it's probably asking alot for people to find stuff through an archive that's over 10 years old. It still sucks though that Tumblr broke this. But I'll persevere as best I can.

Welp it seems like Tumblr's just about washed clean the sidebar I once had for I Dream of Twilight Sparkle. For reference this is what it looked like before...

Yeaaaaah… sadly this means I'll probably have to make the links only text based rather then the fancy images I had before. I'll get that done sometime soon. It seems Tumblr's not fond of having images in the sidebar. Maybe because it breaks things in the mobile views of blog perhaps.

Still it's a shame, but I'll deal with it.

The thing is with the Dragonball example there's two factors with Vegeta here. Not only was mass-genocide normal for Saiyans. Like, apparently even before Frieza placed them under his whim it was just something they did for fun. Frieza obviously was more than happy to condone it.

And by all means Saiyan/Namek saga Vegeta was a bad guy. And many of his kills are more than likely implied to have stayed. Including many of the innocent ones. There's no denying that, and even the most diehard Vegeta fans would say that's the truth. I would however say that Vegeta isn't the Dragonball example to be comparing Cozy to. I'd say that IDOTS Cozy is more of a Kid Buu situation with maybe a little bit of Cell in there. Obviously Cozy isn't as powerful as either of those villains, but they're both created/"parented" by villains (Bibidi/Babidi and Dr. Gero) that are probably as fucked up inside as their creation, the goal of total destruction is in line with Kid Buu along with the evil intelligence that lets her manipulate and seeking more power like Cell. (We should also keep in mind that while Buu is said to be like hundreds if not thousands of years old, Cell is technically 6)

I suppose then maybe you'll point out Kid Buu was reincarnated into Uub. But let's say what do you do if that's likely not possible. As reincarnating requires death to happen first, and it's clear on what happens when someone evil dies in the IDOTS universe that isn't possible to just have them become sentient again. From the moment an evil character dies in the IDOTS universe, any sentience they have is gone and they become dark magic that ravages a part of the planet.

The other factor is that while there is an afterlife in the IDOTS universe. Death is not curable by looking for seven trinkets and wishing from a magic dragon that they could be restored back to life good as new. Spirits stay spirits, death still has a consequence. I'd consider myself a fan of Dragonball, but I'd understand people having the criticism of the franchise that it treats death like just a slap on the wrist for it's recurring characters after all that happens. Even major deaths that are initially made to be a big deal such as Goku's sacrifice against Cell are eventually reversed when it came time for the Buu Saga and thus kept Goku alive to eventually make both GT and Super.

As much as it is cool that Dragonball got to have more new stuff as of late. It does seem like it ruins just about the perfect ending when it seemed like the savior of the earth was being passed down to Gohan from then on. Doesn't help that poor Gohan has been pretty much humilated most of the time since. Sure he got to beat up Super Buu real good, but then he had the drop the potara earring moment before he too was absorbed, and being tossed aside in Resurrection F like trash. Dragonball Super Hero has helped alleviate this somewhat, but those years of Gohan losing the spotlight back to his father aren't suddenly gone because of the new Beast Gohan form.

And while the ability to speak with the spirits of the deceased itself kinda treats death with a slap of the wrist as well. It's not as simple as they're alive again after a wish as in Dragonball. The best that can be done possibly, is what is brought up in the Sunspark story where potentially living beings willing to share their bodies with a spirit can be the closest to them being alive again (And a recommended period of splitting before the end of the 3rd day after the merger). Though even from that point, it should be noted it's recommended that both parties are willing to a merger even in that case.

The problem with your assumption of "tools to reform" with IDOTS Cozy is she would never choose to if given the chance. She played a willing part in the death of Sunset, and thus was a part of why Starlight was led down a dark path. There is no current path to unpetrifying Cozy under those circumstances that wouldn't cause issues. Even empathy must have it's limits. Starlight and Chrysalis each have tragic circumstances that they couldn't do much about, and compare with eachother to begin a bond with eachother as they got to know the other more as they never actually had the time to speak with one another while they were simply being a hero and a villain.

Trying to reform IDOTS Cozy on the other hand, is like any of us trying to reform the most unashamed Neo-nazis you can find on the internet.

And I know you keep mentioning whatever this Cozetta fic is, and that's perfectly fine. You don't have to have a Cozy that agrees with the IDOTS interpretation. I do not wish to make everybody think Cozy is an irredeemable monster in all cases. That's just the direction I decided to take her in this MLP AU. The show didn't give us alot of backing on Cozy, so it's possible to give her a more sympathetic backstory (Although I do think that's hard to reconcile with the fact she was sent to Tartaurus next to Tirek) if you really want to. I don't even think the canon Cozy was meant to be as evil as I'm interpreting in IDOTS. Everyone is allowed to take Cozy any direction they want with any fics that take place after the show. The idea is just not to demand people restrict themselves to a "popular" interpretation of Cozy as if that's what all Cozy fics should be like.

I've said it before, I have no ill will against Cozy as a character. I only took the direction I did since it fit with the story I wanted to tell. I have never intended to shame the character or any fans who prefer a more positive outlook on Cozy. The goal is IDOTS Cozy to be the irredeemable monster, while she co-exists just fine with Cozy's from other fanfics and/or stories that do have a Cozy capable of change. If you've seen Pony tumblrs for years, you should know of a practical multiverse where even the most goody-goody MLP characters are portrayed as unashamed serial killers (Namely most grimdark blogs with Pinkie as the main character). If you can keep that in mind, that's all you have to get to understand.

Down in Roseluck's basement. Daisy and Lily have their hooves wrapped around each other as they shiver in fear. Just moments ago, their dear friend Roseluck was with them, but then in a freak instance. A magic flash enveloped their fellow flower pony, her screams traumatizing her two friends as she vanished before their very eyes. Now quite worried about the safety of their friend, they seek each other for comfort. It's been at least a good few minutes since Roseluck had disappeared

"L-l-l-l-lily, i-i-i'm s-scared! I... t-t-think the s-s-s-s-Storm King has k-k-kidnapped Rose!"

"I-I don't know what to do! This is a disaster!" Lily held Daisy close, fearing that they might be next. It took everything in her willpower to not faint like she usually would in a stressful situation. "W-why… why would he kidnap Rose!? What if… what if she's not the only one who was taken?! What if we're next!?" The horror of the situation was making her mind jump to some very dark conclusions. "W-w-we have to get s-somepony to help! Oh, but what if he's already gotten to Princess Twilight and the others too? I wish we knew if she was at least safe...."

As if on cue, and conveniently after Lily's wish. Another bright flash appears, both mares freak out and hug each other tighter in at least an attempt to save the other from disappearing or at the very least going with them. For if the Storm King is going to enslave them, best they try to have a friend with them. The flash soon disappears as fast as it came in, and they each peek one eye out. And see they're both in the basement still, relieved that neither of them were captured too. Though then they look at the center of the room, and they gasp.

"Hi girls!! I'm back!" Roseluck cheerfully smiled with her hooves raised in the air as she returned to her friends, seemingly safe, and oddly joyful as ever.

The sudden flash caused Lily to scream… that scream of terror is soon replaced by one of joy. Tears filled her eyes as she saw Roseluck suddenly appear in front of them. "ROSE!! YOU'RE OK!" Lily wiped her eyes.

They were both half filled with joy, but also quite unnerved. As Roseluck had not returned as she had looked before she came back. An exotic garb had adorned her face, ears, and hooves... and her lower half was completely gone! Where her hindlegs and tail would be was a floating, waving different kind of tail that started from Roseluck's hips and were anchored by a vase.

"We thought the Storm King had taken you, and that we'd be next! What happened and..." She now got a good look at Rose's attire and the fact that she was floating above them… along with the vase she was supposedly coming out of. Her mind once again jumped to conclusions. "NOOOOO! ROSE HAS BEEN TURNED INTO A FANCILY DRESSED GHOST! THE HORROR, THE HORROR!!!" She looked like she was about to faint once again.

Roseluck quickly flew to Lily's side. "No no no no! It's ok! I'm not a ghost! Nor am I dead, if anything, I'm the exact opposite! I'm immortal now! But girls, I have so much news to tell you!"

"News?! You mean like... good and bad news...?!" Daisy shivered

Roseluck giggled "No! It's more like I have good news... AND EVEN BETTER NEWS!" She beamed an infectious wide grin and raised her hooves in the air.

"So… you're not a ghost… whew… ok..." Lily calmed down a bit but this new appearance was still a bit off-putting to the easily skittish mare. "Wh-what kind of good and even better news do you have? And… how did you become immortal? Or get these new clothes? Did..." she gasps again "Did you MARRY the Storm King to garner a deal with Equestria?! A-and he's given you powers and a new outfit!?" Clearly she can't help herself but jump to conclusions, that or she's been reading too many romance novels.

Daisy raised an eyebrow, that guess was a bit over-the-top even for Lily's usual conclusions.

Whereas Roseluck giggles outloud. "Hehe, that's not it either! But I'll start with the regular ol' good news. The Storm King has been defeated! I don't know how exactly. But I just met and got word from this mare named Starlight that told me as well as Twilight and friends that the Storm King is no longer a threat! Equestria is in the clear!"

"w-w-w-w-w-WHHHHAAAAAAAT?! You m-mean... we're... s-s-s-safe?! But… wait… How is that ONLY the good news?!" Daisy has a skeptical face, feeling like like this has to be too good to be true

Lily did feel a bit sheepish about her out there guess. But this news was welcome indeed. Lily beamed, pulling the two into a big hug. "That's wonderful! We don't have to live in fear of him now!" She let out a very relieved sigh. "But I'm with Daisy, how could there be BETTER news than that!? Equestria's been in a tizzy since his declaration of invasion!"

"Tee hee! Coincidentally, it involves the same mare who broke the news! I don't know her past or anything, but she's absolutely amazing! She happens to be a real-life, honest-to-goodness genie! AND SHE TRANSFORMED ME INTO ONE TOO!"

"W-W-W-W-WHAAAAAAAT?! GENIES?!" Now that made Lily's guess seem normal by comparison. Even if the evidence seems to be staring right in front of them, the attire, Roseluck's missing lower half, and the vase on the floor that Roseluck seemed to be connected to.

At least Lily's guess was based on a Beauty of the Beast-type fantasy that can technically happen in Equestria. As there have been, albeit fairly rare, cases of Ponies romancing dragons and yaks. But genies seem completely out of the question. Even for a magical land like Equestria.

Lily's mind felt like it had just short circuited, this was almost too fantastical to believe even for her. "Genies are real?? YOU'RE A GENIE NOW?! CAN YOU GRANT WISHES AND DO ALL SORTS OF IMPOSSIBLE THINGS?!" Even with floating proof right there in front of them, it would take more time to really sink in. "So this Starlight must be absolutely incredible! Some kind of hero genie to work with the Elements of Harmony! That would also explain why you're floating from this vase!" She points towards Rose's vessel.

Getting a good look at it, she's quite impressed by the quality. "I have to say it looks quite impressive too! Got your cutie mark on it! Though it does look a little different… that's weird... Still! Imagine what we could do for our shop if we had more like yours to sell flowers in! I think they'd look great in them, and we could have the flowers painted on like yours too!" Something comes across Lily's mind "But I'm still confused, why were you taken in the first place?"

"Apparently, Twilight and friends wished from Starlight for me to be there, and they asked me to receive the Element of Kindness. Twilight apparently wanted me to substitute for Fluttershy for some reason. I admit that because of both the Storm King being defeated and becoming a genie has made me so happy... I forgot much of what Twilight told me! But regardless of the circumstances, I was blessed with overwhelming feelings of kindness! I passed down free roses to everypony I saw mere moments after receiving the necklace!" She beamed a grin, and had stars in her eyes.

"SO YOU'RE THE ELEMENT OF KINDNESS NOW TOO!?" Lily felt like she was going to faint from information overload, if she wasn't seeing Rose in front of her right now, she wouldn't be believing any of it. "I just… I can't..." She put a hoof to her head. "This is just so much to take in, Rose.... you're gonna give me a heart attack! Next you'll be telling us that you're going to be crowned a princess or something even more insane! I don't think I can take any more shocks!"

Daisy just about has a migraine from all this information filling her head, and much of her is admittedly a little skeptical of all of this being true. "I don't know, Rose... this seems all so farfetched... I think you need to back it up with some solid proof..."

Roseluck nods "Understood, it should be easy enough to prove! All I need to do… is to grant a wish from each of you. So go ahead, girls. What do you desire?" She smiles in anticipation for her first granted wishes.

"A wish? Yeah! That would give us both solid proof this is all real!" She puts a hoof to her chin. "But what do I wish for....?" Lily looks very focused, thinking on what might be good. (Do I get something for the shop? No… no, I'd like to improve that with all three of us working together, that's what makes it fun...wait I know!) As if a light went off in her head, Lily speaks up. "Ok Rose, you know how we always have our fair share of panic attacks? I always hoped that some day these fainting spells and freak outs would come to an end. SO, I wish you could make me less prone to fainting and being so freaked out from every little thing! I know it's not like something physical, but that should still work... right?"

Daisy herself seems deep in thought as she thinks what she should wish for first. "Say, wait, before I make the wish... you aren't like... limited to 3 wishes and then you're stuck in a cave for thousands of years are you?! Because if that's the case... I'd rather make no wishes at all..."

Roseluck shakes her head and smiles "Nah, don't worry Daisy! That was just a narrative limit for stories like Aladdin. As otherwise the heroes would win too easily, actual genies are far more free then you could ever believe! You two could have as many wishes as you want, so feel no need to pressure yourselves"

That comes as a relief to the both of them. "In that case, I'll start with something simple. I heard Lily mention your vase. And I have to agree, it's a beautiful vase. I wish we each had one of our very own!"

Lily smiles at Daisy, thinking that both of these wishes are good, one being physical the other being more internalized. And the explanation of how genie wishes really work makes Lily a bit excited for any future wishes to come. With Rose being their friend, they'd have access to infinite wishes, but she didn't want to take advantage either.

Roseluck takes some time to think over both these wishes. And after a brief self-deliberation, she begins to giggle madly. "Hehehehe.... ahehehehehe~. I was hoping you both would ask for a wish in this manner~. Cause I know just the thing... that will grow two seeds with one drop of water!"

Lily’s thought process was shaken as Rose began to laugh. It sounded almost… villainous. "R-Rose? Why are you laughing like that?" She'd never heard such a tone from her friend before. Her mind jumped to conclusions yet again "Don't tell me… were you… possessed by some spirit?! The storm king has returned to haunt you for taunting him?! Your laugh is scaring me!"

Roseluck immediately calms down her laughter "Sorry Lily, I didn't mean to scare you. I was just thinking how much I was going to enjoy granting these two wishes, and how happy the three of us will be… for all-time!~ But let's start off with Daisy's wish..."

Roseluck raises her hooves that glow with red rose-colored magic.

"D-don't scare me like that!" She did calm down a little but she was still on edge hearing her friend sound like that at all. Watching her use magic for the first time did put some of these thoughts aside. Being earth ponies, the thought of ever being able to cast a spell only seemed possible in their wildest dreams. She looked in awe at the magic coming from Rose's hooves.

Soon, two vases fade into existence right in front of Daisy and Lily. Each one painted the same color as their respective coats and a stopper of similar color to their manes and tails. Neither of them had the cutie mark insignia like it does on Roseluck, but they otherwise matched the exact shape and size as Roseluck's own vase.

Daisy approaches her vase with stars in her eyes. She could see a warped reflection of herself with how clean and smooth it was. "Wow...." is all Daisy could mutter as she observes the vase from up close.

"Amazing!" Lily trotted over to her own vase, there was a shine to it that she couldn't take her eyes off of. "It's so… pretty. Guess we'll have to paint our marks on it, huh? That could be a fun project! Oooh, and we could sell something like this for the shop! Personalized vases!" Before she let herself get distracted any further, she looked back to Rose ``Oh right! Now it's my turn right?"

Roseluck nods "Mmhmm, and believe it or not. The secret to your wish... will be found inside your vase~. And Daisy, I know you have some of your own fears even if you don't jump to conclusions as often as Lily does. But in a way, I still granted Lily's wish for you too! Inside these vases, are the secret to all of us never fearing anything ever again!"

Daisy raises an eyebrow in skepticism "Something... inside these vases... are supposed to clear any fear of ours for good? Even for a genie this sounds unlikely..."

"Why don't you open the vase for yourself then, Daisy? And take a look inside~" Roseluck smirks.

Daisy shrugs "Well... if you say so..." Daisy takes off the topper with her mouth and looks down into the barrel. At the same time, Roseluck secretly locks the door to her basement from the other side with a brief flick of a hoof behind her back.

The way Rose explained how her wish was granted confused Lily. "The answer is… inside the vase? I didn't think it'd be something physical that would just make us not so scared… but why not just bring it out here? I'm with Daisy on this one, it just sounds really unlikely..." She watches as Daisy opens her vase first. There's a faint 'click!' in the distance but with Lily and Daisy focused on the vases, they couldn't hear it.

In the rather dimly lit basement, Daisy can't see anything but pitch black with not much light shining in the vessel for her to see what's inside.

"What do you see Daisy?" Lily asked curiously

Daisy moves her head away from the vessel to look toward Rose

"It’s too dimly lit in here to see anything in there, Lily. But either way… I don't know about this, Rose... there doesn't seem to be anything i-i-i-i-iNNNNNNNN HEEEEEERRRRR-AHHHHHMMMMMMMMMHHHHHHHMPPpphhh!"

The vase pulls in Daisy's nose, and quickly muffles Daisy's shrieks as her mouth enters. She puts her hooves on the edges of the vase instinctively to try to pull herself out, but that only helps the vessel faster as her own hooves follow her head and neck.

Knowing full well this was going to make Lily run straight for the door, or failing that, a corner of the room. Roseluck opens Lily's vase and points it towards her.

Lily screamed when she witnessed her friend's face and head stretch straight into the vase that Roseluck had created for her "DAISY!!! ROSE, WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!? WHY DID THAT HAPPEN?!" Her heart rate skyrockets, immediately panicking as her fight or flight responses take over. She fumbles about with her hooves, trying to run, but the door wasn't getting any closer… in fact it felt like she was getting pulled back.

"No, NOOOO!!!" She looked back to see that Rose had opened up her own vase, and it was sucking her in! Her blond tail elongated first, followed by her hindlegs. She looked like she was about to cry. "Rose, we're your friends! Wh-wh-why are you doing this to us?!"

"I understand your fear, Lily. But this is a necessary step in the process, and I don't mean in a face your fear kind of way. Allow me to at least clear your last feelings of uncertainty. I am giving you two none other than the kindest gift I can think to give… we will all be genies together! Making each other's wishes come true, and spreading this joy to others like a flower spreading its pollen... And with the power we will have, nothing will ever scare us again!" Roseluck knows that Lily's fear isn't going to make this easier. Roseluck was just about entirely willing throughout her entire transformation even before her hooves touched the vase, so she's not entirely aware of the vessel's ability to make even the most reluctant ponies bend to its will. But she hopes once Lily is released, she'll understand.

At the same time, Daisy's hindlegs and pony tail have been lifted off the ground. Daisy's hooves kick wildly for a moment before they slowed down as if suddenly Daisy began to accept her fate. For Lily, more and more of her tail is pulled within the vessel. Dragging her slowly towards the vase's opening. Her hindlegs swirl around each other and merge until Lily has the same sort of half-body column of smoke that Roseluck has had the entire time.

"That all sounds nice… B-b-but that's not what I wished for! I didn't ask to be a genie! It's not what Daisy wished for either! Please, j-just make this stop, Rose! This isn't like you at all!" Despite her tail and hindlegs getting sucked in already, Lily still tried to run, she knew it was futile but she had to try anyway.

She could see that Daisy had already been sucked in about halfway in, panicking similarly to her… then she stopped. "D-Daisy?! Rose, this is just horri..." The elongated tail that was her hindlegs connected to the vase at last, an electrifying tingle rocks through her body, her mind opening up like a flower in bloom. "Horri.... Hoooooo~ ....wh-what is this~? It's the... furthest thing from a horrible disaster..."

Her scared expression shifts to a pleasured looking one. Lily stopped trying to run as she let the vase now suck her in further. up past her hips. "R-rose, why didn't you start with this.... instead of… ooooh~... scaring us....?"

Roseluck lets out a small gasp seeing how quickly Lily turned around "Huh... I'm as surprised as you are if I'm honest, Lily... when I was being transformed. I wasn't even scared, I was still reeling from the effects of the Element of Kindness overwhelming me. I did remember it being particularly.... pleasurable when it got to where you are now. But I didn't know it'd be capable of calming you so quickly, so I apologize... Granted... I imagine the fact I didn't warn you when I thought you'd be kicking and screaming the whole way in is rather deceptive of me... but I promise I held no ill intentions. Just let your vase smooth all your fears and worries away~"

Next to Roseluck and Lily, Daisy's hindlegs straighten up in one last kick before they slip into the vessel. All that's left was Daisy's green ponytail, which quickly gets slurped up like a noodle by the vase. The vase's stopper falls onto the opening, sealing Daisy inside. Daisy's cutie mark, albeit slightly changed, starts fading onto the side.

Lily puts her hooves behind her back as she floats vertically above her vase. The sensation and tingling only increased the more of her enters the vase. She starts getting pinched down, her body making an upside down cone shape with her shoulders and head being the widest part of her body while the rest of her body seems to have formed a near triangle above her vase. She squirms as her forehooves enter the vessel, but not as an attempt to escape. The pleasure's simply making her shake in ecstasy.

Most of what Rose told her seemed to fall on deaf ears. Her mind was too absorbed by the pleasurable feelings to really understand. But she did hear the apology "It'ssssss fine now… I forgive… oooooh~… you, Rose." All of her fears, worries, doubts, they all seemed to just fade away as she was sucked further in. As she leaned her body back, the sensations continued to get stronger, until... "AAAAHHHH~!!" One last moan that echoes throughout the basement as the 3rd member of the trio completes her genification.

Like Daisy's vase, the top for hers seals it shut, the three lilies that made up Lily's cutie mark slowly took shape on the vase with all of them being stretched downward.

Both vases rumbled as they were fully sealed, the transformation having been complete. All that needed to be done now was for Rose to let her flowery genie friends bloom into a new phase of their lives.

Roseluck claps her hooves together and thinks to herself (That was fun! Can't wait to do this again but as a proper genie trio!). She then lifts open the stoppers, the vessels trembling before releasing two different shades of pink with green and blonde sparks rising all the way to the ceiling. The ends of the smokes form into the silhouettes of the two flower ponies, before the both of them fade in, Daisy's veil and leggings are green while Lily's are a bright white. The two let out long satisfied sighs as their emergence completes.

"That... was certainly a ride... but a ride I wouldn't mind going on again~" Daisy's eyes go lidded as she basks in the transformation she just received.

Lily bursts out of her vase, the magical clouds that emerged with her looking like pollen that had just been released. She takes a moment to really adjust to this, examining her new jewelry and white veils. The genie magic flowed through her freely, in her mind it felt as if she'd been unshackled from her previous thinking. There was no longer fear within her, but excitement. "Gosh, I feel like a whole new me! It really was scary at first, but now I think I could take on just about anything! But most importantly...." She swirls around the other two, pulling them into a hug "We can be together like this, forever!!"

Roseluck and Daisy return the hug. "I'm glad the both of you love it, too! Now how about we relax, and make the gardens of our dreams within our vessels... and tomorrow... I think we should make plans to visit Junebug~" Roseluck suggested with a smile

Daisy beamed putting her forehooves on her cheeks "Ooooo, yes! Junebug must absolutely join us for this! Flower ponies, pollinating the world with our wondrous magic!"

"You didn't tell us we could do that! Oooh I know just how I'll be setting it all up too! This will mean we can grow anything in any season without worry!" Lily's eyes lit up at this plan. "That's a wonderful idea! With Junebug with us, we can make the world a better, more flowery place! Why keep this all to ourselves?"

The trio then each enter their own vessel to construct a field of their favorite flowers all around them. Roses, Daisies, and Lilies respectively. When they were done, the trio entered eachother's vessels and marveled at every one of their best friends' fields. They'll have plenty to do and talk about, before they let in a 4th pony in on their wonderful transformations and endless, never-ending gardens..

Thanks again to Nova Spark for helping out with this one ^^

Dr. Fauna arrives on the outskirts of Fluttershy’s cottage for a routine visit she’s scheduled with Fluttershy to help out with her numerous animals she keeps close, as well as the usual friendly chatter between the two animal experts over a delicious cup of Fluttershy’s tea. Though as she looks inside the cottage. She sees no sign of the yellow pegasus anywhere, and even more oddly, not a single one of her animals. Not even a single mouse!

She does come across something she’s never seen before, which is some kind of ornately designed bottle that bore Fluttershy’s cutie mark on it with a butterfly-shaped topper. Though Fauna thinks nothing of it, presuming it simply to be a customized gift from one of her other friends.

After Fauna has assured herself she’s looked through every room in the cottage, she goes back outside.

"Fluttershy?" Calls out the confused doctor. Looking around the outside, much like the interior of Fluttershy's home, it too seemed strangely empty. "Well this is flummoxing… Where in Ponyville is everycreature? It's not like Fluttershy to not be around for a check up… she didn't even leave a note..." It was unusually quiet, no birds chirping, no animals making noise of any kind. It was as if everything was abandoned yet, the area still looked tended to. Nothing seemed out of place with the exception of there being no signs of life anywhere in the cottage's vicinity.

Dr. Fauna looked everywhere in the immediate area, the stream in front yielded nothing, the chicken coop out back was also empty. Even the open fields were barren. All prior nests, burrows and dens were devoid of any animal or Fluttershy. Dr. Fauna gulps nervously. "Could something have happened to her and her animals? No… the house doesn't look damaged. M-maybe they're just having a picnic. I know Fluttershy likes to do that with her animals." She tries to listen out for any sign of Fluttershy or her animals, thinking they may still be in the area

Dr. Fauna double checks plenty of areas from both outside the house and even looks again inside from the cottage’s windows for any sign, calling Fluttershy’s name or some of her beloved pet’s names. Remaining stumped, she keeps a keen eye out for any clues for what may have happened. Now that she’s looking more keenly, she finally finds a very significant lead: Hoofprints, recently made ones too. Dr. Fauna can see a whole line of them heading right into… the Everfree Forest…

"Oh no… why would she be in there?" A bead of sweat drips down the back of Dr. Fauna's neck. The Everfree Forest may not have been as dangerous as it once was but it's still not some place that Dr. Fauna liked to wander. She hesitated, biting her lip "I-I should get help… but if Fluttershy and her animals are in there and are in danger, help may not get there in time… and if an animal is hurt, I do already have the tools here to take care of it…"

Dr. Fauna takes a deep breath, before following the hoofprints into the forest. Despite it being daytime the light dimmed quickly as she went further in. "F-fluttershy? Hello? Please tell me you're there!" She called out shakily. Dr. Fauna was now listening out not only for Fluttershy, but the forest's inhabitants as well. The last thing she needed was to run into a pack of timberwolves or a manticore. She continued to follow the hoofprints before finding herself in the middle of a clearing "How far did she go in? Could she have flown from here?" She looks around the treetops, everything seems to blur together. "Everything looks the same! Calm down Fauna… you can't help if you're the one panicking"

The vet’s teeth chatters in nervousness as she continues looking around, she takes on more look at the trail of footprints. Though they seem to have suddenly stopped just a little ways from a large tree. Dr. Fauna didn’t think that would be too unusual, as Fluttershy is a pegasus. She might have switched to flying at this point in the trek. If that was all that was there, this is what she would have guessed had happened: a pet wandered in and Fluttershy walked in after it, found them, and then carried them back to safety flying back.

But that didn’t answer why no one at all was around in or around the cottage. And there was another detail that leaves Fauna stumped. At or quite near where Fluttershy’s hooves have stopped. Is an abnormally large trail that curves in a neatly stream of s shaped lines on the forest’s ground. They resembled something quite familiar to the veterinarian: Snake tracks. The moment she realized a snake went through here, she felt conflicted as she feared this may have something to do with what happened to Fluttershy, but at the same time she felt… curious. The snake prints are the largest she’s ever seen, the largest anaconda barely left prints half this size. She fears for the fate of her dear friend should she have come across some monster snake that lived in this cursed forest, but at the same time the inner-biologist has her curiosity at its peak. A potentially new species of Snake not yet discovered by Ponykind.

She shakes her head however, she can’t be focused on scientific (or perhaps personal) curiosities now. Especially if her dear friend’s life is in danger. She continues looking, though with some lingering thoughts of imagining how astounding, albeit terrifying, this new snake could be that she can't help but blush about.

Dr. Fauna picks herself up, along with any of the supplies that can still be used. She takes another few deep breaths and thinks about the situation. "Ok... ok… on one hoof, Fluttershy could be in danger… If these are truly snake tracks, I need to be careful. For it to be this big… it's unheard of! And I don't want to be a meal for some monster. But on the other hoof, she could be just fine, maybe she’s taking care of this… massive snake… with all of her animal friends… yeah... " She didn't sound too convinced of her own words but kept trying to be positive

"And if that's the case, I can definitely help, new species or not, I'd be easily able to analyze what's wrong with it. I can analyze a snake like nopony's business... but I don't want to startle her or the snake by rushing in… and the potential of it being a new species too! That's big! Who knows what it looks like, what it's capable of! As a vet, I also couldn't turn away from a potentially hurt creature, no matter what! And it's important for anypony who comes through here to know about it too!"

With this newfound determination, Dr. Fauna presses on, following the massive snake tracks deeper into the forest. This time of course trying to keep her head up so she doesn't trip again. The cool air from the forest almost sounds like hissing echoing around her. "It's just the wind, it's just the wind… I'm doing this for Fluttershy… she's going to be fine, we're going to discover it's some new snake species. A-and it'll be just friendly, I'm s-sure of it."

The hissing sounds continue to haunt the veterinarian, though as Dr. Fauna’s words trail off from her last sentence… there’s the subtle hint of what sounds like giggling that could be heard. The sound catching the veterinarian by surprise, who could be laughing out in the middle of the Everfree Forest? There was even some feeling that the giggling she heard sounded a little… familiar.

Dr. Fauna shakes her head once more before taking a few more steps. She gasps as something catches her eye, from a distance it looked like a strangely colored branch that fell onto the floor. But as the good doctor walked up and looked closely, she could see scales. Her face goes pale, and primitive instincts kicked in as she hopped off to the side. This must be the very tail end of the snake Fluttershy may have found.

All Fauna needs to do now is follow the long trail of the snake itself (From a safe distance, that is!), until she can see its head, and hopefully Fluttershy tending to it… and not in the snake’s stomach…

A small gasp escapes Dr. Fauna as she spots what looks like the snake's tail. It's even bigger than she thought but the giggling she thought she heard was a good sign. "Fluttershy? Could that be her?" From this vantage point, she can't tell how far away the head is. "Take it slow, Fauna… this snake doesn't seem to have noticed you" She thinks to herself as she follows the sounds of the giggling. The snake itself doesn't seem to be moving so she can at least study from a distance. "If Fluttershy really is trying to help this snake, it's no wonder that she'd need all her animals to do it! There doesn't seem to be any injuries on its scales either… maybe further up?"

Unbeknownst to the veterinarian, as she followed the trail of this very long snake. The “snake” was curling the end of its tail, the tail gradually pursuing and encircling the approaching pony, but done slowly enough as not to raise any red flags. More hisses and giggles are heard, they get increasingly louder as Fauna follows the tail’s entire length.

Dr. Fauna hopes that her rustling isn't too loud to alert the massive creature. If she were spotted, there wouldn't be much to keep her hidden. The yellow fur and powder blue mane stick out like a sore thumb within the everfree. As she makes her way through the brush, she accidentally steps on a branch that lets out a loud 'CRUNCH' underneath her hooves. Dr. Fauna freezes at the sound "Oh… dear..."

Once the vet had carelessly stepped on a branch, time seemed to speed up. As suddenly the tail that was following the pony LUNGES forward, Fauna barely has time to react before she’s forcefully grabbed, the long tail quickly coiling around her, the muscles too much for Fauna to struggle free from. The poor veterinarian seems to have stepped right into the predator’s trap…

"AHHH!!!" Dr. Fauna's scream echoes through the forest, any attempts to squirm out of this snake's grip are met with tighter constrictions. All of her belongings fall to the ground as she's picked up. "I DON'T WANNA BE SNAKE FOOD!!" She starts to hyperventilate within the grasp of the tail. While Dr. Fauna has dealt with many snakes in her life, none of them were ever big enough to do this to her. She thinks to what she knows about constrictors "Tensing up will only make it worse.... I… have to… urk… relax… I need to help Fluttershy! But… some help I turned out to be… I knew I should've gotten somepony to assist. If only I could get out of this..."

The giggling reaches its full volume as Dr. Fauna suddenly hears an all too familiar voice, if perhaps under some strange kind of filter. “Yesssssss, that’sssss right… jusssssssst relax yoursssssself~”. The front of the snake remains hidden, but the voice bewilders the veterinarian. Did the snake just TALK?! And if so… why did it suspiciously sound so much… so much like…

"The… the giggling must be just some kind of predatory bait… lure a pony in with something… hrk... that sounds like laughter and..." The sudden voice took Dr. Fauna off guard completely."W-what the?! It… you can talk?! And you… you sound so much like… like… Fluttershy?"

After saying it out loud, it sounded ridiculous, that couldn't be the case could it? Why would a snake have Fluttershy's voice? Animals can do many things in the everfree forest, but a talking one is a wholly new discovery. It would be fascinating if she weren't trapped in its coils. "Wh-why do you want me to relax? So it makes me easier to eat, is that it!? You used my friend's voice to lure me in? Eat me like you did her and her sweet animal friends?!" This too sounded ridiculous, but of course Dr. Fauna wasn't quite sure if this was actually happening, or if she was hallucinating at this point

More giggling is heard, before the front end of the snake finally shows itself before the vet. Only it’s not anything the veterinarian was expecting.

She gasped as she saw Fluttershy was right there, her eyes looked a little different, and she noticed what seemed to be fangs in her mouth. Those of a different kind from the fangs she had as a bat pony. Nonetheless, Dr. Fauna was less frightened and a lot more relieved that her dear friend was ok after all. Even if a few things didn’t seem quite right to her still…

“Sssssso glad you could make it here, Doctor~” Fluttershy tilting her head slightly with a gentle smile. “Do not worry, no harm will come to you. I’d never do that to a pony that lovesssss animalsssss as much as I~”

Fluttershy’s gentle voice does sooth some of Fauna’s remaining worries, but something still bothered her. Did Fluttershy say I, as if… she’s the snake?! That couldn’t be, could it? And that’s when Dr. Fauna looks at where should have been hindlegs and a pony tail… but definitely wasn’t.

"Fluttershy?" Dr. Fauna blinks a few times in disbelief, she needed to be sure she was actually seeing who was in front of her "It is you! Oh thank Celestia you weren't made into snake food. But..." She takes a good look at Fluttershy, the top half looks normal, save for the slit like irises and fangs. Not to mention a rather peculiar set of jewelry and transparent clothing on her face and forehooves, but the fact that Fluttershy's lower half doesn't end in hindlegs, rather an incredibly large, elongated body instead, still fills her with concern. She does find it hard to look away from Fluttershy's piercing eyes, but her fear allows her to, for the moment.

"What happened to you, Fluttershy? And to your animals! Your home was completely barren! As if there were never any animals there in the first place! I thought you went missing or somepony had kidnapped you. I tried to rescue you but then I got pulled up by… a giant snake, or… you? And now you're here and you're looking like this and sounding like… like a snake..." It's at this point that things start to click, the 'snake' was Fluttershy! But if that's the case, why play such a prank on the poor doctor? She never knew Fluttershy to be a prankster, she was quite the opposite! All these questions running through her head, it was making her dizzy "Why did you… do all this?"

Fluttershy giggles a little more before booping the vet's snoot "Every sssssingle one of my beloved animalsssss are sssssafe and sssssound back at home. In a little while, I can ssssshow you where they all went. But for now, I sssssset up all thisssss for ssssome quality time together. I won't bore you with all the detailsssss, for it'sssss a ssssssstory that'ssss longer than my tail currently isssss, hehe. But I will at leasssssst tell you that I have gone through sssssome... changessssss recently. And I thought it'd be a fun way of ssssshowing you jussssst one of near infinite thingssss I can do now~"

While Dr. Fauna is relieved to hear that the animals are all safe, their location doesn't make any sense to her. "At your home? But… there wasn't any sign of them? This whole situation is beyond flummoxing, Fluttershy! To say these are just 'some' changes is an understatement!" She gestures to Fluttershy's massive body as she says this, noticeably finding it even harder to look away from her eyes now. It was as if she were using her stare but that only worked on animals… right?"

"W-what exactly do you mean by it being one of the… near infinite things? You… you're not sounding like your usual self, Fluttershy."There was a heavy amount of concern in her voice, this was Fluttershy... but the speech patterns, the new form, the more dominant tone, it was still making Dr. Fauna unsure of the whole situation*

"Oh!" Fluttershy puts a hoof on her cheek while giggling again "Did I not quite ssssspecify? Ssssssilly me! They're in a... home within a home ssssshall we sssssay~. It'll be eassssy to explain once we're back in the cottage. For now however..." Fluttershy intensifies her stare, using her long tail to make sure Dr. Fauna can't even turn her head away.

"It'ssss time for me to grant you one of your longessssst held desssssiresssssss~. In all our yearsssss of friendsssssship, I’ve picked up on what particularly interesssssstssss you about different animalssss. Though when I assssked you in our firssssst year as friendsssss, if you had a favorite animal. You anssssswered that it wassss the sssssnake. Though you never ssssspecified why that wasssss.

That alwaysssss felt ssssstrange to me, whenever I assssssked ssssssomepony’s favorite animal. They’d explain why, even if it’ssss as ssssimple as ‘They’re sssssso cute!’. But you yourssssself never elaborated…

Nonethelesssssss, I have noticed you alwayssss ssssseem to sssssee the reptilessss firsssst as if there wasssss a particular reasssson for it. Either you musssst jusssst really like my ssssnake Antoine, or… you weren’t sssssure if I would find your reassssson for liking sssssnakes ssssso much as too weird or even embarassssssing…

In other wordsssss… you have a thing for sssssnakes… don’t you?~” Fluttershy smirked with a toothy grin.

"Wh-wh-whaaaat!?" Dr. Fauna blurts out. Her face turns a deep shade of pink as Fluttershy accurately points out what she was into. She wanted to refuse, make some kind of excuse to explain her fascination "It's um… it's just that… I… I uh..." Nothing could come to mind however, it's as if her mouth became dry as she tried to force out a lie. The stare Fluttershy was giving felt as if it compelled her to tell the truth. It was almost terrifying, but she couldn't deny that some part of her liked it. The grip of the snake tail, the piercing gaze, Fluttershy called her out and she was right. Dr. Fauna gulps nervously "...s-so ...so maybe I am ...uh, into snakes… they're just… so alluring, you know?"

"I thought ssssso~. I'm aware of all kindssss of reassssons one would find interessssst in animalsssss. And for thossssse who have a particular fassssscination with ssssssnakes, they have a sssssurprisssssing variety of reassssonsssss for their interesssst.

Maybe they'd like to know how losssssing their limbssss came about in their evolution, maybe the tight embrace of their coilsssss ssssounds more inviting rather than ssssscary, maybe it'sssss the eyesssss that feel like they can sssstare you down to your very sssssoul and make you do their bidding, or maybe it'ssss the feeling of the longer they are... the more of them there isssss to love...

Or maybe it'ssss all of the above and plenty more~. I perfectly underssssstand how one could find sssssnakes fasssssscinating in multiple wayssss. And you sssshouldn't be ssssshy about what you love, which isssss why I chossssse to make all your dreamsssss come true... and sssssoon, you'll forever be able to continue indulging in your wildessssst dreamssss yourssssself~

Now... why don't you let yourssssself relax in my coilsssss and tell me the most ideal ssssssnake encounter you've ever dreamed about, and I'll do everything in my power to fulfill your desssssiresssss~" Fluttershy smugly smiles, waiting for Fauna to tell her everything she'd be comfortable with being done to her by a giant snake

Dr. Fauna can feel a tighter squeeze from Fluttershy when she emphasizes her points. She can't help but let out a small pleased gasp when it happens. If she could cover her face up, she would but Fluttershy's tight coils have her locked in place. She felt as if she were lost in a fog, Fluttershy's eyes being the only 'lights' to guide her. Everything felt hot, her breathing became heavier, never did she think Fluttershy would be the one to make her feel this way. She'd known her for so long, and yet has never seen this... dominance from Fluttershy before. Dr. Fauna did start to relax as Fluttershy asked, though it felt more like a command. The coils around her feel less like a heavy pressure and more like a tight blanket.

"You… want to make my dreams come true? What do you mean by that? It's not like... I want you to squeeze me a little tighter or pull me in closer just within range of your fangs or ....eeep! Did I say that out loud?" She can no longer pull herself away, even if she tried "I… I've never seen this side of you, Fluttershy… but you're right! My fascination and admiration isn't wrong! I just… I wish others could see it that way..."

She sort of grants her latter desire by baring her teeth within her after a quick lunge but doesn't open up her mouth too large. She knows Fauna has interest in snakes, but assumes making it seem like she's going to eat her, given what she said earlier... may be a step too far even for Fauna's interest. She does certainly at least give a few more tight squeezes, though she's careful not to make it so it hurts. Her ears do perk up at the wish, and knows she could use it. Though she's thought of a little bit more of a fun way to perform it.

"Don't you worry, when I'm done with you. Other poniesssss will sssssee how your perssssonal dessssires are an important part of who you are... though pardon me if I'm going on a ssssslight tangent... how do you feel about... hypnosssssissssss by chance?~"

Fluttershy readies her eyes as if to intensely stare further, though makes sure she hears the doctor's consent first before going all in.

"Yaaah~!!" Dr. Fauna screams at the tighter squeeze and sudden lunge from Fluttershy, but it doesn't sound like one of fear, more like a scream you'd hear at a concert. Her heartbeat quickened, the excitement she felt was unlike anything she'd experienced before. And the talk about others understanding the importance of personal desires, it was all sounding too good to be true!

She tensed up at the mention of hypnosis, biting her lip. "I um… I'm into the idea of it. It does kind of go along in a similar vein to my f-fascination for snakes. But..." she stares deep into Fluttershy's eyes, feeling she may have an idea of what's coming next. "What exactly did you have in mind?" She asked in a more excited tone, anticipating any other surprises Fluttershy had up her sleeves

“Gooooood, then no time like the presssssent~” Fluttershy’s eyes stare more intensely than before, and spirals begin to fill in the white of her eyes.

“Now, my dear friend… I’m going to loossssen up my coilsssss a little bit jussssst enough to allow you to move yoursssself… but what I want you to do… issss to dance as ssssoon as you hear the musssssic, I want you to rhythmically sssssway sssside to sssside as you hear the insssstrument'ssss ssssong, jusssst as a ssssnake would…” Fluttershy then poofs up a pungi flute from thin air and places it in her hooves, she then poofs up a well-woven basket of sorts that stands just below where Dr. Fauna is being lifted from by her snake tail.

Fluttershy starts playing the flute, and an exotic tune begins to flow through the veterinarian’s ears.

"Right now? But how are you... you… ooooh." Before Dr. Fauna can even finish her thought, she's completely enraptured by Fluttershy's hypnotic gaze. A dopey smile comes across her face as she sways from side to side. Similar spirals appear in her own eyes, her world is nothing more than a swirl of colors, with Fluttershy's piercing gaze being the focal point in the center. Fluttershy's words echo in Fauna's head and she slowly nods. "Sure... whatever you say...."

As soon as the music reaches her ears, she can't help but dance just as Fluttershy had asked. She dances as best as she can considering she's still somewhat coiled up, not even noticing the woven basket that Fluttershy had pulled out of nowhere. She was lost within the music, her hips swaying from side to side, but she never broke eye contact with Fluttershy. "I… I didn't know you could play that so well. It's so soooooothing...."

Fluttershy while still playing with the flute silently uses magic to lift the top off the basket, soon Fauna’s pony tail begins to wave, to Fauna it seemed like it was dancing on its own accord as it stretched closer and closer to the basket.

While still dancing, the vet feels a strange sensation as her hindlegs start to stretch as well, spiraling around each other until they start to feel like they’ve merged into one. With whatever remaining full consciousness she had in her brain under Fluttershy’s hypnotism. She half-wondered if she was being transformed into a snake form similar to Fluttershy’s own. Though her merged limbs were much less solid than a snake tail, as she felt more and more weightless.

At first, Fauna couldn't tell whether she was moving her tail or if it had been moving on its own. As her lower half begins to stretch and merge into one, she continues to sway and dance, not realizing that her elongated form had a destination, the basket. "This… this is so… wonderful...I feel so light... Is this what being a snake is like?" The stretching sensation sends a tingle through her as she's pulled closer and closer to the basket. Once it finally starts to connect, she's given a moment of clarity. She notices the basket that her body was drifting towards. "What is that fo.... ooooooor~" A loud gasp escapes her, the tingling sensation surges through her body.

Much more powerful than it was when it was simply stretching out. Her thoughts still lost within that fog, she can barely form a sentence as she's pulled in. "...more …I want more..." Her hind hooves, and tail were fully in the basket, her upper half having slipped from Fluttershy's coils. But she had no desire to try to break away from what was happening to her. Even if she wasn't in a trance, it felt too good to stop now.

With Fauna free from her coils, Fluttershy lays the parts of her tail that were holding on to Fauna back down on the ground. Smiling as she watched Fauna gradually get shaped down so that all of her would go into the basket before continuing on with her flute playing. She take a brief moment to lift the vet's uniform from her torso and lays it softly on a nearby tree branch.

The feelings that the veterinarian mare was feeling getting all the more intense as more of her is pulled into the basket. Her hooves were on her side the whole time during her dance, as to truly dance like a snake, you have to get as close as you can to having no limbs. her forelegs have thus stretched alongside her body. Soon all that’s above the basket, is her chest, her shoulders, and her head. Hearts fill her eyes, as the sheer pleasure gets closer to its crescendo…

"Ah.... this… this feels so wonderful… it's… it's..." The intense sensations build up even more as the last parts of her are sucked in, any hesitation she had, any concerns, they were long gone by now. She happily swayed much like a snake would, she even playfully stuck her tongue out and gave a little hiss. Once her shoulders had been taken in, the final burst of energy swelled into her and she let out a moan that echoed through the Everfree Forest "OOOOH IT'S SSSSSSSS AMAZING~!"

This was the last thing she had said right as her head had sunken down into the basket along with a loud 'SCHOOOOOMP'! The cover of the basket had gently floated on top, sealing Dr. Fauna within.

“Now wasssssn’t that ssssspecial~. I hope you were watching the ssssstream Ssssstarlight…” Fluttershy looks to a hidden camera placed in the trees where she had been live streaming this genification to Starlight via DisChaos.

Starlight’s is far away from where Fluttershy is and currently inside her lamp. But she got to watch every detail of what Fluttershy did. She's got a blush and a tiny bit of a nosebleed as she watched that unfold, safe to say she was at the very least… impressed.

(“I’ll have to remember this the next time I spend a night with Trixie…”) She thought to herself, though other thoughts came to her mind. On how despite luring Dr. Fauna to a trap and using hypnosis, Fluttershy made sure her “victim” was comfortable, and consented to what she was doing. And knowing full well that Fauna had a secret thing for snakes even before all this. Fluttershy masterfully using her kindness to the best of her ability to perform this genification to perfection.

It for a brief moment gives Starlight some pause, wondering if she should be more considerate of the next pony she transforms. Though she knows for most ponies she can’t easily tell what secret fantasies and/or desires they have she could take advantage of. If everypony is to be genified there are unfortunately going to be instances where she’s not taking into account their feelings on the matter, nor what they are open to. But she does concede that if she knew every pony’s little secret as Fluttershy knew Fauna’s. This would be a heck of a lot easier.

She shrugs it off for now, as mentioned in their personal talk with eachother. She doesn’t feel it’s necessary to take the time to find out each and every single pony’s individual likes. Though Starlight certainly can’t deny that what Fluttershy did for Dr. Fauna wasn’t real special because of it. Starlight can’t expect to ever know a pony like Fluttershy knew her friend though, so there’s not much she feels can be done about it.

Back in the forest, Fluttershy stops her camera’s stream. “Thisssss will be a fun one to ssssshow to Rarity too~”. Saving the recording for when Rarity can see it in private the next time they talk on Discord’s magical program.

Fluttershy then magically envelops her entire long self as well as the basket currently containing Dr. Fauna, and teleports them all back inside her cottage. She sets the basket vessel on the living room table, and lifts open the top. Releasing her now fellow animal-loving genie back out, for a glorious re-entrance.

Dr. Fauna had no idea she had been recorded, her thoughts while within the basket were focused on the bliss she felt. On the outside, the basket displayed her cutie mark, what was once a dog, cat, and bird have shifted to what she embraced inside, a snake coming out of a vessel. The power now surging through her made things clear in her mind. She no longer felt shackled by her fears, instead now feeling more free than ever before.

Once Fluttershy had opened up the lid, she came out in a similar way that she had entered, by dancing. She even had her own musical accompaniment, sounding similar to Fluttershy's flute playing earlier. Like all the other genies that have gone through the transformation, she was adorned with a veil in a similar shade of blue to her mane and jewelry.

"Aaaaaah~! I feel like I've just woken up from the best dream of my whole life! It'sssssss magical!" She giggled, still feeling like a playful snake rather than a genie.

Fluttershy lifts herself and reaches level with her snake body so that she’s even leveled with the floating veterinarian “Welcome back, Doctor~. Now that you’ve been transssssformed, I’m sssssure you musssst be curioussss what I’ve done to you. I recall that you asssked if feeling much lighter issss how it’s like to be a sssssnake, but it’ssss not. Naturally, a long ssssnake tail actually sssshould make you feel heavier, albeit alssssso sssstronger with all that mussssscle. Perhapssss you ssssimply thought it wassss decorative accesssssssoriessss to my ssssnake form, but the veil on our facessss, the vessssssel you entered, and the bracerssss on our forehoovessss meanssss sssso much more…

You now have the power to do anything, BE anything, and both ssssshow or sssshare your greatesssst dessssiresss while fulfilling othersss. You are now a wisssssh-granting genie jusssst like me. When you wisssshed that othersssss could sssssee your interesssstsssss as I do, I interpreted it in ssssuch a way that you’d gain the confidence to sssshare your dreamssss with no fear of anypony’ssss judgement, as my genification hasssss cleared all of my own insssssecuritiessss and fearsssss. I’m very much aware you were ssssurprisssssed at how drasssstically I’ve changed ssssince your lassssst visit, but I promisssssse you that it’sssss a change that I love… as you must underssssstand yourssssself now…”

Dr. Fauna tilted her head and looked at her new accessories as Fluttershy explained what she'd done to her "So… this isn't just some costume change? I'm a… genie?" She looked shocked yet at the same time part of her already had an idea that she had changed. "Does this mean I could become a snake pony… like you?"

There were many more questions that popped into her mind but they didn't seem as important or stressful. This did however give some explanation to why Fluttershy was acting the way she was, and why now she felt much more free to express her desires. "I think I get it, and you're right! I… I feel free… more free than I've ever been! I've been flummoxed by a lot of things, but this is something I'm sure of!" She looks back with a smile "And it wouldn't have been possible without you! Though you really did give me a scare, Fluttershy! I feared the worst had happened to you, and your animals! Oh! That's right, your animals! The reason I came in the first place was to give them their checkup! Where exactly are they?"

Fluttershy pointed a fore hoof towards the bottle that Fauna had presumed was just an ordinary custom gift for her “They’re all in here… jusssst as you have your basssssket. I too, have my own genie vesssssssel. Inssssside, I’ve created the animal sssssanctuary of my dreamssss… I’m sssssure you’re aware that having one wassss alwayssss my greatesssssst wisssssh. And we will go in together to sssssssee it sssssoon...

But firsssst, let’sssss take care of one of your other questionsssss… I knew that among many of your fantassssssiessssss about ssssnakes, BEING the ssssnake must certainly be one that issss on the top of your lissssst. As I wassss being transssssformed into a genie, one of the many thoughtssss in my head was the sssssshapesssssshifting I could perform to become any animal or part of nature I wanted to be at will. I’m ssssure you’ll have your own fun with thissss power, trying all sssssorts of animal formssss, but of courssssse you will have your favoritessss. So yessss, you can now transssssform into a ssssnake pony any time you desssssire it…

If you want to experience the full sssssize tail, you’ll have to come back down and briefly gain all four hoovessss’ again. Don’t worry. It’s actually quite easy to become a full pony again. Jussssst tug at your sssssmoky tail a bit and disssssconnect it from your bassssket, then float yoursssself down and envissssion your genie tail reforming into your hindlegssss and pony tail once more…"

Fauna's eyes sparkled "You're telling me that you've made your animal sanctuary!? Oh Fluttershy, that's wonderful!" She takes a look at the bottle and scratches her head "Forgive me though, it's all in there? Huh I guess even with being a genie now, magic still flummoxes me." She said with a giggle. Fauna was taking this change rather well, she was concerned on how to harness this power but the promise of what she could do took priority in her mind.

"Ok… so just tug and… focus.... nngh" It takes her a moment to picture reforming her legs like Fluttershy had told her. It did work! ...however she also face planted right out of her basket upon breaking free. "Ahahah… I'm alright! Ooh… this takes some getting used to." She says as she picks herself up, she can now see that her cutie mark changed along with her hindlegs having the same veiled attire as her face and forelegs "Woah! What happened to my cutie mark? It's… it's a snake now...?"

Fluttershy nods “Mmhmm, don’t worry. That’sssss completely normal, if you take a closssser look at my bottle, my cutie mark is now sssslightly different than it ussssed to be too. Insssstead of it jusssst being the 3 butterfliessss. The butterfliessss are either being brought into or emerging out of a vesssssssel. It sssstill generally means the ssssame thing as your old mark, but there’ssss a nice genie twisssssst involved now.

And now that you’re in full form again, you may now try to change yoursssself. Just as you focussssed to get yoursssself dissssconnected from your bassssket, now you need to envissssion your back half merging together, lengthening, sssstrengthening your lower half with all new musclessss allowing you to ssssslither acrosssss the ground, and however many other featuressss you want to have. Do you want to have the exact ssssame featuressss I do? Or do you want to go a little different, like a rattle at the end of your tail, maybe you’d like a cobra hood, not to mention the patternssss you could go with. The choice issss completely yourssss, if you’ve ever deeply thought of what you’d look like if you were a ssssnake. You can bring to life every. little. detail~.”

"I suppose that makes sense. My cutie mark is still animal themed, I guess it's just now matching which animal I love the most." She says with a soft smile. "It's still going to take some getting used to though! Same with going in and out of the basket… I hope it feels as good as it did the first time"

Listening to all of these options for potential snake parts almost makes Fauna's head spin. A whole new world had just opened up to her. It was a bit terrifying, yet exciting all at the same time. She takes a deep breath and concentrates "Ok… ok give me a moment to think '' Her body begins to levitate and stretch, she thinks hard about the snake anatomy that she's most fond of. Her body continues to grow until it matches Fluttershy's in length and size. Her tail takes on a striped appearance, a mix of dark and light versions of her fur. A cobra-like hood flaps out from the side of her head, taking on the same brown color as her eyes with an orange pattern on the hood. She lets out a sigh as the transformation finishes, her teeth now sporting long fangs and when her eyes opened, the irises were more like thin slits. She looked down and marveled at herself

"I… I did it. I look… ssssssspectacular! Thisssss sssssserpentine body thesssssse fangsssss! Oh Fluttersssssshy! Thissssss isssss incredible! Pleassssse tell me thisssss issssn't a dream!"

Fluttershy giggles “Well, you can bite yourssssself to make ssssure if you want~. Though you sssshouldn’t need to.”

Fluttershy then approaches to hug Fauna with her forehooves, both as a friendly act, and to prepare them for her next act. “Are you ready to ssssee the ssssanctuary, Dr. Faunbra?~” Fluttershy chuckles and smiles a bit after mentioning something of an affectionate nickname for the doctor’s new form.

Dr. Fauna was indeed going to give herself a test bite to confirm what was happening was real before Fluttershy stopped her. Seems she's taken on a bit of a more silly persona after having transformed. "Ahahaha, you got me..." She's surprised by the sudden new nickname, but she gives a smile. "Dr. Faunbra… huh… I like it!" She returns the hug "I'm more than ready Flutterssssssnake~!"

Fluttershy makes sure her entire tail is coiled around Fauna’s own, for the both of them it was like they were being comfortably hugged tight in multiple areas of their body at once “Then let’sssss goooooooo!” Fluttershy gently bends herself and Dr. Fauna backwards while spinning them around as the butterfly shaped topper lifts off her vessel and both her and Dr. Fauna go in head first.

Their pony halves quickly are brought into the vessel only leaving the swirling snake tails. Despite there being so much mass between the two tails, the bottle has no problem absorbing the two together. For the vessel, they were just two big noodles being slurped up together. The length at least promised it took a little longer than the average entrance into a vessel, but gradually the tails are brought ever so slowly in.

Some muffled murmurs of moans from the two mares could be heard as their tails were sucked in. It’s not long before the two intertwined tails are vertically above the bottle as they swirl together like a candy mixer from Sugarcube Corner into the vessel until even the very tips of their tails are brought in. With the topper of the vessel sealing in the two snake pony genies together...

Fauna's head was spinning as she entered the bottle. It felt even BETTER going in with somepony else! When she finally opened her eyes, what met them was a vast landscape, filled with perfect environments for each of Fluttershy's animals. It was unlike anything Fauna had seen in the natural world. She wasn't even sure how far it expanded but it was already clear that the bottle's interior was not limited to the size on the outside "Incredible… abssssolutely incredible! All of your animalssssss are here ssssafe and ssssssound! And their homessssss are perfectly attuned to their needsssssss!" She marveled at the beautiful sanctuary Fluttershy had created, there were pristine waterfalls, open air, a light source similar to natural sunlight. It was a perfect oasis in Dr. Fauna's eyes, it nearly brought her to tears. "They all look ssssso happy and healthy. But they're not geniesssss too right? How did they get in?"

Fluttershy shakes her head “Our vesssssels are fully capable of bringing in other living beingssss without genifying them. It doessss require a bit of a different method then us geniessss, but it workssss just fine. I ssssimply sssshrunk them until they could be gently placed into the vessssssel. Only ssssmaller animals such as insssectsss, mice, and ssssome amphibianssss don’t necessssssarily need to be sssshrunken to fit in. If you ever want to invite another pony into your vessssssel though, I recommend genifying them beforehand”

As Fluttershy and Fauna look over at the sanctuary together, a green snake slithers towards the two ponies. It’s none other than Fluttershy’s pet snake Antoine, who rubs a little against the end of Fauna’s tail before slithering up the vet’s long tail. It tickles the veterinarian as he travels across her extended body, he coils his tail around Fauna’s chest, until he comes at a rest on Fauna’s shoulders. Antoine flicked his tail affectionately for the doctor.

Fluttershy giggles “It sssseemssss Antoine has found hissss queen!”

"Oooh good to know it's ssssssafe. I wouldn't want to caussssse undue ssssstressss. I could make my vesssssel into a second office! Or....a paradisssse for my ssssssnake form~" Fauna chuckles.

She gives a smile to Antoine and affectionately nuzzles him "Sssssso good to sssssee you healthy, Antoine! Resssst as much as you like there." Something Fluttershy says about turning ponies into genies resonates with her. "I… I can change otherssssss like you changed me?" She thinks on it for a moment. The question of "Why do I need to change them?" pops into her head, yet at the same time, she feels an urge to spread the feeling she got to others, negating that question "Yessss, yessss! Why ssssshould we be the only onesssss to enjoy thisssss?"

“Now that’s the sssspirit! You musssst be eager to be the one on the other sssside from our fun earlier. Sssshow off your ssssnake form for everypony to ssssee, and those who are as into ssssnakes as you are will be sssssure to follow~. Though if you do need a little persssssuassssion from time to time…” Fluttershy’s eyes briefly turn into spirals again though only visually. “You can alwaysssss do thisssss~”

"Of coursssssse! I've got a few friendsssss who I know that would love thissssss just as much as we do~!" She gives a wide grin. Fauna looks deep into Fluttershy's gaze, unlike before though, she's not in a trance. Rather, she is more confident than ever, her own eyes swirling in a way similar to Fluttershy's "Heheheh yesssss, nothing wrong with a little persssssuasssion~! I'm ssssssure you'll love the resssssultsssss!" She leans in to give Fluttershy another hug

"But before all that, I sssssstill need to check up on your animalsssssss and explore more of your beautiful ssssssanctuary!"

Fluttershy returns the hug from her fellow snake pony, her fellow animal lover, and now her fellow genie. As they slither their tails together, exploring her brand new sanctuary. It was everything that both Fluttershy and Dr. Fauna had ever dreamed about, and so much more…

Some time passes after Fluttershy’s talk with Rarity, she looks to see Starlight for a 1-on-1 talk with her too before genifying more of her friends. It takes some time for her to find where the self-proclaimed leader of Geniequestria is. If Starlight were out and about. She figures wherever magic is being thrown about is where she’d be, but given everything was oddly quiet. It’s more likely that somewhere Starlight is in her lamp somewhere. That makes Fluttershy’s search hard as one small lamp, even one as obvious as Starlight’s in an entire town is not going to be easy.

However, thanks to some genie ingenuity she eventually comes to a solution. She makes clones of herself to look all over the town and look in every nook and cranny for Starlight’s lamp.

Eventually, one of her many selves finds Starlight’s lamp in the hospital’s waiting room. Once Fluttershy pulls all of her selves back into one single body, she realizes that Starlight must have went to see Meadowbrook while she was genifying ponies here, Fluttershy also assumes Starlight might have helped Meadowbrook get every pony, not just the doctors and nurses but the many patients here. Though once they were genies, they certainly wouldn’t be patients any more. Regardless of their affliction, genification solves every problem.

Fluttershy gently rubs the lamp, the dark purple lamp immediately shakes and seems to briefly turn an angry red that makes it expand with a quick FWOOOSH out of the spout. Starlight immediately taking shape out of the lamp with no fancy entrance aside from glowing white angry eyes as her voice echoes “WHO DARES DISTURB MY SLUMBER! YOU’RE JUST ASKING TO BE BOTTLED IF YOU”RE NOT ALRE-“

“Ahem…” Fluttershy interrupts

“…Oh, it’s just you, Fluttershy” Starlight’s glowing eyes fade out back to normal as she calms down “You’re already a genie… so pardon me… for the outburst. Any pony who touches my lamp who’s not already a genie shall be genified on the spot though… but even with other genies I’m a bit averse to others touching it without my permission”

Fluttershy chuckles “Hehe, no worries. I understand. But… I wanted to urgently speak with you before I genified more ponies. I’ll at least tell you that I have gotten more than just Meadowbrook genified now, both my parents and my brother are now genies too”

Starlight raised an eyebrow. “…Well, I’m happy to hear you’ve genified more ponies. But I have a feeling that’s not the only reason you came to see me… I’m still trying to figure you out, Fluttershy… you genuinely want Geniequestria to come into fruition, but you’ve also proved more resistant to my requests then most of my genifications up to this point. So pardon me, if I’m a bit... suspicious of you still, as I remember when you were supposedly 'on my side' before…”

“I guess we could start talking about why that may be together, Starlight. Let’s go through who you’ve genified so far and maybe you’ll come to an understanding why.” Fluttershy suggested

“I see… well, obviously you already know who was my first genification. You were there just as her transformation was finishing! Trixie, my lovely mare friend.” Starlight closed an eye and put a hoof over her heart

“I still have yet to meet Trixie as a genie, but I promise I believe you that you two are truly in love. I must ask however, if you’d love her less if she wasn’t so willing to help with your plan. I know obviously that wasn’t the case of all, and she happily accepted being your second-in-command for this. But say that she simply wanted to enjoy herself as a genie and didn’t want to help spread this to others. Would you really love her the same way?” Fluttershy asked

“Huh…? Wha…? O… of course I’d still love her! Are you…. insinuating that my love for her is purely based on my goals?!” Starlight reacted a bit angry at the accusation

“No, that’s not what I’m saying at all. Obviously you would still love her, but my question is if in the long run you’d respect her wishes to keep out of what others may feel is a major conflict. Cause I mean... no offense to you Starlight, but the way you’re approaching this plan… is very militaristic and authoritarian. Spreading your fellow genies to take over the entire north part of the territory, invading cities. And then comes the occupation, where either the ponies are transformed into genies eventually or they go into hiding. The only exceptions of course are my friends, who are themselves part of a game you’re putting them through for your own entertainment. The way you’ve turned this into a conflict brings us into a deep divide, you wouldn’t eventually accuse Trixie of not being on your side if she didn’t want to contribute to this?” Fluttershy crosses her hooves

“A… conflict? You think I’ve started some kind of war?! This is no war! I’m spreading geniequality to Equestria! No one is dying, quite the opposite. They’re becoming immortal! Those who go into hiding or otherwise want to avoid genification just simply don’t understand yet…” Starlight huffs

“If this is no war, then remind me of what came about after you genified Trixie…” Fluttershy raised an eyebrow suspiciously

“Well… me and Trixie went to Our Town and started genifying ponies there… then we took over the Crystal Empire… so that we could have the army fo-“ Starlight then realizes that maybe Fluttershy isn’t so wrong.

“F-fine, I see your point… but even if this is a conflict. Do you see any real casualties? Is there any real damage to Equestria? What I want to spread across Equestria will make us greater than we could ever dream of!”

“Starlight, it’s not the country I’m concerned about. It’s how those who aren’t genies perceive us, your methods make us seem like an enemy. I do agree with you in a sense that genification works for every pony regardless of who they are. You are correct that this is an equalizer that actually works compared to your cutie mark stealing days.

But I would like their moment of genification to be a more comfortable experience, even better if they’re more willing to the experience rather than just pulling them into vessels right away, while they’re still afraid of you. Do you understand me on that?” Fluttershy sternly stared

“But… Fluttershy… that all changes the moment they feel their bodies enter their vessel! Sure they’re scared before that happens, but they come to realize how great it feels and any concern they have washes away once they’re genies, and released amongst their friends and family. What difference does making ponies more comfortable or willing when they’re transformed then what I’m doing if it all ends the same? I’m not forever mentally scarring any ponies…”

“Maybe so, but wouldn’t it be better if they weren’t trying to run away? Or if we were nicer to them prior to making them into genies?”

Starlight rolled her eyes “Ugh, again why does it matter?! What use is just being all friendly with every pony if for the most part I’m improving their lives to a point where they thank me enough for that. Wait… you’re the element of Kindness. Are you doing some sort of corny thing trying to teach me kindness? Ha! Please… I’m already doing plenty of kindness for all of Equestria!”

“Starlight, just think for a moment. Perhaps from a certain point of view you are being kind by turning ponies into genies, but can you think of a time you did something for some pony that you didn’t get in return? Even in the case of Trixie, genifying someone you love, you got something out of it. A right-hand mare to assist you in your goals. Genifying every pony afterward was either to assist you on your four-pronged invasion or related to a personal revenge of yours. And now with this game you’ve started with my friends, when you get the chance to genify another of them. that’s also partly in revenge for stopping you back in Our Town, not just wanting to share the ideal of genie hood to us. You don’t see genification as just a way to help ponies, you still have selfish reasons for doing this. There’s a part of you that’s still doing this more for yourself rather then for the sake of others”

Starlight was getting frustrated “Grrr…. so what! Even if so, more ponies will be thanking me afterward. And when everypony’s a genie then we will live happily ever after!”

“…Starlight, besides Trixie. Do you have any real friends?” Fluttershy asked bluntly

Starlight looks offended “W-w-what?! OF COURSE I DO! I became friends with Sunburst, or rather Sunstone, again when I genified him/her, I gave them what even Celestia’s school couldn’t! And then there’s Tempest! I restored her horn, and showed her the Storm King’s true colors! She owes her life to me, practically! How dare you suppose I have no real friends! What about you? Your friends almost abandoned you just because you were a genie now, they tried to replace you with that flower pony mere moments after you were transformed. If I don’t have any real friends, maybe you don’t either! The only thing truly binding you with the others are those Elements of Harmony, but once they become useless... you’re as expendable as a stranger to them!”

Fluttershy shakes her head “That’s not true, and you know it…”

“Do I, really? Regardless, it’s not any more true or false than your accusations about me, I can tell you that! Hmmmph… if it weren’t for the fact we are of equal power, I’d just shut you up and/or leave. I'd rather not be lectured about how I’m doing things. I won’t risk fighting you, as that’ll only make things worse.

But it does give me some concern about you, say you’ve finally genified every pony you wanted to genify. What are you going to do then? You’re not going to challenge me and try to use your “kinder” way of genifying ponies to rebel against my more loyal genies are you? It’d be ironic after your earlier accusation of me starting conflict if you start a civil war between us…” Starlight turns her back toward Fluttershy

Fluttershy shakes her head “No, I have no intention of beginning any kind of rebellion even when I’m done genifying. I won’t get in the way of how you want to do things, but I’m heavily suggesting you take my advice and tone down your current methods. Trust me when I say it’d pay off much better then what you’re doing now. Because what happens when every pony is genified but the only ponies you’re real close to is Trixie, and even if you add Sunburst and Tempest… it might not truly be enough.”

“Ha! Like I care… those three are all I need! Heck, I'd be fine if when all of Equestria is genified. It’s just me and Trixie together, I don’t need anypony else. When everyone’s a genie I’d leave them to do whatever they want, even if that includes never seeing me again!” Starlight insisted, though she had a nervous sweat as she stated this

“Starlight, have you forgotten that I saw Our Town when you were still its leader? If you were truly not doing your previous plan for some selfish reason. You’d have given up your cutie mark along with the others, or at least tried to. Maybe you did try, but noticed it would lead to a loss of magic you didn’t want to let go… but I have this strange feeling you never actually did. You wanted to maintain your power so that you could eventually expand your ideology past that small town. You wanted to be the leader of this so-called utopia, and that hasn’t changed despite having a much more improved way of reaching your goal.

You want others to see you as a leader, but to be the leader you want to be. You must make friends. The way you’re doing things now only works from a dictator’s point of view, where their only friends are their inner circle, and even then… suspicions arise in such a scenario. And this wouldn’t even be a normal dictator situation, usually the dictator would indeed have the power to rule by fear. But as you genify more, you’re a self-proclaimed leader of a nation that has no reason to fear you because every pony will be able to do what you can too.

You’re only eventually leading yourself into a world where yes, they’ll thank you for bringing every pony into a world where they can do anything and be with their friends and family without the worry of death. But will they actually consider you a friend? And if you tried forcing your way into their friend circles, you’d only get pushback. And regardless of your genie power, they would have the same powers. With your aforementioned dreams of being a leader, what is a leader with few friends and a citizenry with no obligations to said leader. They’d hardly be a leader at all. You’ll have this genified world that would be all because of you, but you won’t have the spoils you want out of it. You can try and tell yourself that all you want is the genified world. But you’d only be lying to yourself”

“Tch…” Starlight stepped back, she was surprised Fluttershy had just about gotten her spot on. “Ugh… but… getting to know every pony would take way too long. I can’t just willy nilly find out what would soothe every individual pony into accepting genification… that’d take way too long… it’s frankly… just easier for me to stuff them into a bottle, get a thanks from them and I don’t have to bother too much more with them. I don’t necessarily need to be friends with every pony… but… I guess you have it right that I seek… constant praise and admiration in this genie utopia I want to rule… I suppose I got some of that from the Crystal Ponies… heck, they even built a statue in my honor… but… I get that’s not exactly friendship… is it?”

Fluttershy’s a bit surprised she’s already got Starlight genuinely responding rather than shutting her out. Perhaps it’s partly because Starlight can’t do anything about her, but she still sees it as a positive sign. “Yeah, the Crystal Ponies honoring you the way they have shouldn’t be considered friendship just yet. You just came to them as a great hero that defeated the Storm King, showing them there was nothing to fear ever again. It’s praise for who they see as a hero, but they haven’t come to know the hero personally. They’re only admiring you for what you did, not for who you are. And I get that you don’t have the time to spend with each and every pony of Equestria. I’m not saying you should spend a day with every single pony to get to know them before genifying them. I also don’t expect you to change your tactics so soon, I’m just saying at some point… I want you to take heed of what I say, and consider applying it in the future.

I won’t stop you from using the more forceful tactics that you’re more comfortable with, but I want an opportunity to speak with you on occasion. We’re going to be genies for eternity, so I want to get to know you. We can become friends ourselves if you’re willing to work for it.” Fluttershy gives a gentle smile as she tries to welcome the idea of a friendship with her.

Starlight thinks this over, she first raises an eyebrow. “How… can I really trust you, though? If you can see right through me like this, then I might as well just say my past experiences with friendship… never lasted…”

“Trust takes time and communication, and I’m not saying that you need to spend time with me all the time”

“Heh, I was going to ask if this meant having to be there for every one of your tea parties or something… that’d be a bit silly…” Starlight chuckled

Fluttershy chuckles as well “Well, I wouldn’t be opposed if you really wanted to! But it’s not a necessity. I do however have something that may help a lot, do you remember when I pulled out the program called DisChaos. The same one I used to contact Discord?”

Starlight nodded though looked down a bit awkwardly “I do… though I mostly remember being scared of having to confront Discord more than anything… that made me so retroactively glad you were the first one of your friends genified. My plans may have already been foiled if any other result happened…”

“Hehe, probably. But all I’m doing now is offering to give you an account. I’ll let you sign up, then you can briefly close it, before testing it out inside your lamp while I remain out here. Does that like a plan?” Fluttershy smiles

“Uh… sure. I suppose… can you remind me what this is supposed to do? I admit I wasn’t paying much attention back when you first showed it since I was more focused on what I was going to do about Discord…” Starlight admitted

“Sure! It’s actually really simple…”

Fluttershy takes some time to explain much of how DisChaos works to Starlight. As soon as Starlight gets a full understanding, she is instantly intrigued and knows plenty of ways she could use this to her advantage.

Starlight smirks “This… sounds absolutely splendid, Fluttershy! I’d most certainly love an account of my own… will I have permission to give any pony who wants one an account too?”

Fluttershy nods “Of course! I actually encourage you to use this to keep in touch with as many of those you know as possible. I know with genie magic you could just teleport to where they are. But popping in on your friends like that can be rude if they’re not expecting it, the convenience of long-distance communication at least allows you to tell them beforehand that you’re coming. And I’ve already told you while explaining it you can still use it even from within your vessel

In fact, let’s just get you set up, and then you can try it out for the first time!”

Fluttershy raises a hoof with a pink glow, a screen pops out and a login screen floats.

“Ok Starlight, give the screen your magical signature as well as enter your name through the magic typewriter in front of you. And your account will be activated!”

Starlight listens to Fluttershy’s instructions “Alright, what now…”

“You don’t have to do it right this second, but you can customize your avatar to be whatever you’d like to take a photo of sorts. Whether it’s your face or something else, you can also tell it to display your genie mark, if that’d be preferable. Otherwise, I think you’re free to test things out. I could pull out my screen and just have us type to each other right here, but it might be a little weird to communicate via DisChaos when we’re literally in the same room and able to hear each other. Which is why I suggest you try going back into your lamp, and then we’ll use DisChaos to type messages to each other then.”

Starlight nods “Ok, so I guess I close DisChaos until I’m back in my lamp then?”

“Mhmm, all you need to do is click the x in the corner and the window will get sucked into your horn.”

Starlight does as told, and the entire screen warps and stretches into the point of Starlight’s horn. A rather weird sensation felt that wasn’t painful, but nonetheless a feeling Starlight feels like she’ll have to get used to. Her eyes go a bit dizzy as she recovers from the program entering her head. She soon shakes her head, and is back to normal.

“Alright, Fluttershy. I guess I’ll be headed back to the lamp then… anything else I need to do once I’m back inside?” Starlight asked

Fluttershy shakes her head “Actually, most of what will need to be done will be from my side. Once you’re slipping in, I’ll activate my own account and send you a friend request. All you’ll need to do is accept it, and we’ll be able to type messages to one another. Then we shall be able to contact each other through it at any moment at any time. That is unless for any reason you decide to block me, heh”

“Wait, blocking? What does that mean?” Starlight inquired

“If you don’t want to be contacted or find some pony too annoying, you can make sure they cannot send you messages on DisChaos. You will not be able to receive messages from them, and when public chatrooms are added, their messages will be hidden if you are in the same room as some pony who blocked you”

Starlight felt conflicted about that “Oh… I’ll admit I’m actually a little disappointed with that. I was hoping if I can get in contact with your friends on it, I’d have a long distance method of messing with them. If they can just silence me on it though, I suppose there’s no point. Oh well, I guess just seeing their faces as I do some mischief is a little more satisfying anyway.”

Fluttershy shakes her head. “No one likes to be messaged by ponies they don’t like. It’s a necessary thing, it’s why I want to help you become a little more likable. It does Geniequestria no favors if the very pony who started this movement turns more people off then it does bring them in''

Starlight grumbles “What are you talking about?! Ponies like me just fine! I had just about all the Crystal Empire standing attention, before they were even genified! You even saw some of them! They followed my orders to help surround you girls! AND I SAVED THEM FROM THE STORM KING SINGLE HANDEDLY!”

Fluttershy raised an eyebrow, stood her ground and just about stared in Starlight's face asserting herself “Starlight, ponies you convinced with an oratory speech and/or regard you as a hero are not necessarily a friend. This goes back to what I said about dictators: ponies can like you as a leader, but can have a different opinion about you as an individual if they actually got to know you personally. A speech to a crowd is different from talking with individuals. And I’ll also say it again, they’ll have no reason to fear you, and you can’t do anything about them. They like you because you gave them so much power, but they’re not obligated to be your friend.

If they chose to follow your orders it’s because they believe in the Geniequestria cause, it’s not all for you. There’s a bit of irony here, you may enjoy flaunting your power in front of the ponies who aren’t genies. But the more ponies that are genies, the more the extraordinary becomes the new normal. Granted, it’s not a bad new normal, but how can you really claim to be the leader of a world where every pony can do the same things you can do. There’s hardly any reason for a government in such a world.

It could be argued your followers are seeking a world where they help give their friends and family a world they never have to worry about the inevitabilities of life. They may still thank you for genifying them, and even put you on a pedestal with art pieces dedicated to you. But you won’t have any power over them. Outside of Trixie, you may very well be more isolated from every pony else once the goal is reached. Because what is your end goal once Geniequality has been achieved? If you expect to be leader of this genie world like you were of Our Town. You may find yourself for a rude awakening. There will be no one to conquer, no one to convert to the cause, and your claim to others that every pony could be what they want to be may backfire if you attempt to lord over every pony else, not to mention make you look hypocritical. You’ll be stuck in a tight space, Starlight. And I don’t mean the spout of your lamp.”

Starlight just floated there in stunned silence (“Grrr… as more time goes by I’m not sure choosing to genify the Elements one by one was the best decision… even with the ABSOLUTE 1 out of 6 chance that was favorable to Geniequestria… they feel like a thorn in my side.”) Starlight begins to admit that Fluttershy was completely right that this is a bit of a double-edged sword. Once they’re genies, they’re not obligated to listen to her and view her as their leader.

But if she doesn’t genify ponies, then it’s contradictory to her goals of Geniequality. Perhaps Starlight was too encouraged by the results of genifying the Crystal Empire, thinking every pony would fall in line like they did. She did and will always have Trixie. Sunstone and Tempest were also quite willing, and Celestia and Luna didn’t seem to mind listening to Starlight either. Is it that maybe that the Elements of Harmony have this annoying resistance to being inclined to listen to her that’s exclusive to them? Whatever it is, Starlight doesn’t want to cross with Fluttershy. So she might as well continue to take her offer up about DisChaos.

That said, she also can’t make it seem like Fluttershy’s won this debate, as much as internally Starlight feel like Fluttershy has a point. But Starlight fills herself up with pride as she takes a big breath, before responding.

“Hmmmph, well… thank you for your… views on the matter, Fluttershy. I’ll be sure to think about what you’ve said, but I think we both know we need a little more time as genies to understand things before we draw a conclusion here. Who knows how every pony will feel once geniequality is achieved, maybe the majority will feel I deserve credit for starting this whole movement and let me be the leader as long as I promise not to get in the way of other’s genie magic.. I can be a fair leader, everyone’s vessels is their own private area while the world at large is a public canvas to shape it in the way everyone is most comfortable with. I only wish to help give everyone a… direction. I have no intention of bossing others on how to be their genie selves.

Though I should also say that because geniequality is a double edged sword, I can’t do anything about others. But the reverse is also true, no pony can do much to me. Not like I intend on fighting any fellow genies outside of playful magic duels, as that would be foolish. But you get the idea, let’s see how things play out a little longer Fluttershy before we decide to proceed.

To Starlight’s surprise, Fluttershy actually nods and agrees. “Certainly, more time will definitely be appreciated. Let’s see how the general populace feels as more and more of them become genies, get to know you, and eventually decide if we agree to give you the leadership position you desire. Or maybe,,, you will have changed your mind on how to approach Geniequestria after you’ve gotten to know me and the others as they become genies over time, how about that?”

Starlight rolls her eyes. “Sure, sure… whatever, I wouldn’t be so sure that I’ll change just like that. But enough talk, let’s just get this DisChaos thing over with. Shall we?”

Starlight takes a deep breath, focuses, and then slips herself into the lamp. Not too fast, but also not too slow. A gentle moan comes out of her lips as she warps inside her lamp. A satisfying schoomp sounds out as Starlight completely enters, the lamp slightly rattling.

Fluttershy then proceeds to open her own screen and sends a friend request to Starlight. The lilac pony genie inside the lamp opening the program from within the living room of the mansion-esque interior of her lamp. She can see a red circle with the number 1 on it and can see Fluttershy’s avatar. She then accepts Fluttershy’s request, and could now speak to each other through the program.

<Fluttershy> Welcome to DisChaos, Starlight!

<Starlight> Nice! It seems to be working perfectly, but is there really much else you need to tell me now that we know it works

<Fluttershy> Admittedly, not a whole lot that I haven’t already told you while we talked out here. But maybe I can at least ask for your first impression?

<Starlight> It seems… straight forward enough. Maybe a little bare bones at the moment since messaging ponies personally is all it can do right now. But I know you mentioned while explaining that eventually Discord will add the ability to create “Servers” that will allow people to join and talk even with those they have not friended yet, right?

<Fluttershy> Mmhmm, also technically you can also get multiple ponies in one DM already but again that’s with friends only. I will at least tell you that Discord will soon allow me to test out a sort of live streaming capability. I plan to record and show you my very next genification. And maybe make that a regular thing as I genify the ponies I want to get!

<Starlight> Oooo yes! I would love that, Fluttershy! Can you give me any hints as to who you plan to genify next?

<Fluttershy> I have a really good friend of mine who’s a veterinarian I really want to genify. I’m sure that she will be quite… sssssssatisfied

Fluttershy puts a symbol next to her text that looks like a cute little snake next to her words

<Starlight> Don’t know what you mean by the snake, but I’ll be looking forward to it. Whatever happens.

<Fluttershy> You’ll find out~. But for now, that’s all I have for you today. You can go back and rest now if you’d like, sorry if I interrupted your time of rest rather rudely.

<Starlight> Eeeeh, I guess it’s ok… it was a kind of important conversation to have. Thank you for coming by and showing me DisChaos, Fluttershy. I’ll always be delighted when you share the love for genie hood and willingly growing Geniequestria with me.

<Fluttershy> Of course! I will still say I thank you very much for genifying me in the first place, though please remember… I’m not done yet with asking you to tone down your more forceful methods. The faster you realize how detrimental your current methods are to your overall goal, the better.

Starlight just frowns and shakes her head. Almost not even sure how to respond, or even if she should respond.

<Starlight> …Yeah, yeah. I need kindness, and should get to know ponies. I should have known that even after genifying you, the cheesy lectures you and your friends always do were going to stay… but like I said out there. Don’t be so sure I’ll just change on a dime. You may just be surprised how much things work out for me, after all. Ta ta for now, Fluttershy. I’ll be sure to see you again, both on here... and I can’t imagine this will be our last meeting face-to-face either.

<Fluttershy> It most certainly won’t, I assure you.

Both Fluttershy and Starlight close DisChaos. Fluttershy walks out of the hospital, while Starlight goes back to the bedroom in her lamp. She does think over for some time what Fluttershy said to her. But she soon shuts her eyes, and falls asleep once more.

Rarity walks on up to Fluttershy's cottage, she felt she was ready for that private talk that Fluttershy suggested they have together not long after Meadowbrook's genification. Rarity doesn't know what Fluttershy's been up to since she last helped return Golden Oaks to Twilight. Though she presumes at least a few more ponies have been genified by Fluttershy somewhere. Some of Fluttershy's animals are out and about as they happily greet Rarity's entrance into the cottage. Some of them lead Rarity to where she can find Fluttershy's vessel with her inside it.

The sight of the friendly animals eased some of her tension. She noted that they were still as happy as ever, even with Fluttershy's massive change. With a nervous gulp, followed by a few deep breaths. Rarity reaches out for Fluttershy's vessel. She calls out "Fluttershy? It's… it's me, darling. I wanted to have that chat you said we should have. Are you busy?"

A familiar little bunny rabbit pokes Rarity a few times on the lower end of her hooves. With some charades, Angel puts his paws on his ears to indicate Fluttershy can't hear her while still in her bottle. Then he places the cut off end of a carrot on his head in an attempt to tell Rarity to use her horn to open it up.

Rarity's attention is grabbed by Angel's charades. She may not be able to understand him like Fluttershy does, but she gets the gist of his gestures. Some of the butterflies in her stomach swell once more at the prospect of opening the bottle. "Oh… so I have to open it myself, since she can't hear me..." She didn't know if Fluttershy would just genify her right there after she opened it, the thought sent a shiver down her spine.

One she wasn't sure was a shiver of terror… or excitement. (“I won't get any answers by standing still…”) With her finally making up her mind, she first picks up the bottle with her magic, Choosing to observe it before releasing Fluttershy out.

Rarity’s not exactly a fan of the equalist vibe she gets from the not-too-subtle equal sign on the neck of the bottle, but other then that she did kinda love the design of Fluttershy’s bottle. Briefly wondering if her’s will look just as great whe-.... If she were to end up being genified too

She shakes her head and focuses on having a very important talk with one of her best friends. She lifts the buttershy shaped topper off the bottle. A 'POP!' is heard when she removes it. She then set the vessel back down since she knew by now that genies liked to make an entrance, something she understands just as well. "Fluttershy? Can you hear me now? I'd like to talk"

The bottle quivers on the table, not quite as intensely as the first time Fluttershy was released into the world as a genie but enough to remind Rarity of the many fantastical emergences she’s seen. Just a few more anticipated seconds pass until...

FWOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSH

A plume of yellow smoke rises out of the vessel, as it above, the sounds of a relaxed sigh echo from her genified friend bounce many times through Rarity's ears. The sound reminds Rarity of how Fluttershy would feel after a well-pampered spa treatment. The magical light and effects show along with the echo only adds a thrill to it all, Rarity's heart beats faster as she watches her dear friend's re-emergence.

Soon the end of the smoke trail starts taking Fluttershy's shape as she floats above Rarity. Her hooves are just about asymmetric with each other as the frogs of her hooves are flat against the other. Her eyes are closed for a little while, before she opens up her eyes and looks down toward the clearly fascinated Rarity.

She gives a gentle smirk, and slowly flies up closer so that their eyes are closer to even-leveled, though still tailed to her vessel behind her and floating above Rarity.

(Oh Celestia… what is this feeling… why do I feel like I’m… so intimidated… no… it has to be something else… Fluttershy’s still my dear friend… maybe… I’m just too curious…)

"Greetings Rarity, I'm more than happy to start talking with you. I've been looking forward to this"

Rarity bites her lip, watching the display in front of her. She wants to show her excitement, the delight she gets from seeing this little performance fills her heart with desire to do it herself. Yet she still holds herself back, just enough for now to keep in check. Though she cannot hide how clearly interested she is.

"I… I feel the same." She takes a deep breath to regain some composure. Giving herself some space as well, she's still not used to being on the back hoof especially with somepony like Fluttershy. "I know the others might not be as willing to talk, with everything that's happened we're all admittedly lost and confused… but I still want you to know, I believe in our friendship. Even if… we're currently at… opposing views..." She pauses for a moment, catching herself looking at Fluttershy's outfit, it's something that had fascinated her with all genies, so she was trying her best not to stare. But her mind kept racing with possibilities for what she could create with that look in mind.

Fluttershy nods. "I already know you still believe in our friendship, Rarity. And I think deep down the others do too,

I don't think even Applejack would ever treat me the way Starswirl did to poor Meadowbrook. She'll obviously be the most hardened against the idea of a Geniequestria, but I know she is just concerned about my well-being in the same way as when I was a batpony.

Twilight also sees much of this as a mistake she caused that must be fixed, but I wanted to help her see there's silver linings. And that was why I offered to bring back Golden Oaks to her.

Rainbow is a little similar to Applejack, although I think she'd still be willing to talk with me more often. Since she's known me the longest. Though uh... I guess maybe she'll be a little peeved if my brother-turned-sister Aura Winds starts bothering her...

And Pinkie blames herself in a similar way to Twilight, though in a more specific case for just my genification. I do feel bad for her that she's still in such a depressive state. I hope there comes a day she'll be her peppy self again.”

Fluttershy was clearly well aware of everyone's position in regards to their feelings for her. Rarity was shocked to hear such an astute analysis of the group at that moment.

What slipped Rarity up was the mention of Fluttershy having already gotten to her brother. "Aura Winds...? Wait, you're referring to Zephyr? You went after your own family?" She gasped (“Admittedly...that might be for the best given Zephyr from what I hear was kind of a mess… perhaps, the change balanced them out? But… going after family… w-would I go after Sweetie Belle?”) The thought filled her with conflicting feelings.

Fluttershy nods to confirm that her family is among the genies now. "Indeed, Zephyr Breeze has become Aura Winds. She's still a little too full of herself, but she can actually do just about anything well as opposed to before!

And after that, we both worked together to bottle our parents. My father-turned-mother on the other hoof didn't change her name outside of the last name, Gentle Breeze simply changed to Gentle Wind

They are the only ones I've genified so far though. But I do have plans for a few friends of mine. I have an.... interessssssssting idea in mind for Dr. Fauna, hehe" She giggles after mimicking a snake-esque talk, her eyes even turning slit like a snake briefly before forming back to normal.

Hearing Fluttershy tell her about her plans on who to genify next sent a chill through Rarity. It was as if she was fully confident that they wouldn't even try to stop her. It was this part of Fluttershy's budding genie persona that concerned her. (“She never used to talk like this… is that because of the change? Will I be like that when I… er if, I change? Did I never really know the true Fluttershy until now?”) This thought saddened her, to question years of their friendship after just saying she still believed in it, hurt.

Fluttershy continued, this time with an observation on Rarity herself “As for you though... I may not be the Element of Honesty. But... I can tell you're a bit shaky when you say you have ‘opposing views’. Your eyes were glued while your cheeks flushed pink every time you saw some pony either being genified, or emerging out. While everypony else tried to look away or didn’t bat an eye on what was happening.

Even now, I know you're eyeing my attire... I've seen that look in your face before, whenever you found clothing that inspires something within you. Your eyes shine just as they are doing now. Go on ahead, Rarity, say everything on your mind about my and/or others genie attire. Let your fashionista instincts guide your thoughts, and tell me everything that interests you~"

Her thoughts are broken at the mention of the analysis Fluttershy gave about her. How her views aren't as 'opposing' as she claims. How she knew what Rarity was doing each time she saw somepony get genified. Rarity winces, as if Fluttershy hit a weak spot.

(“S-she noticed?! Oh dear…”) Rarity gulped, it was as if her throat became very dry at that moment. "Ack! I..I.. can you blame me, darling? I was in shock! Each time it's different and… and I can't tear my eyes away! It's… it's a reminder, to never lose sight of what we're trying to fix!" She lied

As Rarity tries to cover up her tracks, Fluttershy crosses her hooves and lifts an eyebrow unconvinced of the fashionista's words.

"D-despite our views, I cannot let my mind be closed from new ideas for fashion! So o-of course I see the potential in your clothing! The colors, the veils, it's such a glorious look! But I know I could improve them even more!" She got more confident as she spoke.

Once the subject changed to Rarity's thoughts on the attire though, she smiles. "You should write and/or draw everything on your mind down before you forget them, Rarity. I'd love to see what you think would add some more flare to outfits like mine. Here, take this." Fluttershy lifts a hoof and magically poofs up a sketchbook for Rarity to take home.

The talk of fashion did lift her mood "You forget who I am, darling! Of course I took notes! But..." She's cut off when Fluttershy poofs a sketchbook into existence, unlike her normal sketchbooks, this one was fully genie themed, even down to the cover showing paint brushes in a genie vessel. "Oh my, this is… for me? Th-thank you, Fluttershy. I do hope that you'll come by to model what I create. I know you'd just love it!"

"But more importantly, I need to know what your true feelings on this whole situation are! Before you were just going along with Starlight's plans… until you weren't. Then you brought Golden Oaks back for Twilight… this whole ordeal has me more confused than ever! ...not only that but seeing that joy on your face as you changed… if we were to find something that undoes all of the genies… would you hate us for it?"

On asking about Fluttershy's true feelings. Fluttershy tilts her head and frowns a bit "Have I not made it clear enough? I'm only on Starlight's side as it comes to the genification part of the plan. I'm not suddenly a fan of Starlight's personality, motivations, and methods. Though I of course can't just fight her on that, as we're of equal strength. I agree with you girls that Starlight isn't exactly going about this in the right way. Her methods inspire more fear than it should, she needs to be gentle, she needs to be more considerate, she needs to know kindness.

Where I differ from our other friends, is whether or not if she should stay a genie in the aftermath. And that goes for all the other genies too. If Twilight does manage to find something that can just reverse all genifications at once... I know she'd use it before I even get a chance to reply as of right now, but I hope I have enough time before then to at least make my case where she’d have some doubt that returning us to normal in such a fashion is the right thing to do. You saw what happened to Sugar Belle when we briefly freed her. The thought of a good portion of Equestria being like that has to be worrisome no matter how you feel about me and the other genies."

Rarity shakes her head when Fluttershy says that Starlight's methods are wrong "I'm sorry, I know you've already said that before… it's just... while I trust you, I cannot trust her. But you say she needs to understand kindness, on that you and I both agree. But I think she could bother to learn more than that. Dragging all of Equestria into her conflict with us..." (“Even if the genie forms are… spectacular in their own right”) "You mention Sugar Belle when we changed her back… but isn't that a sign something about it is all off? You are right… I don't want to be in a world where they're going through… withdrawal like symptoms. Admittedly, it was terrifying seeing her like that, begging for the power back… like she couldn't function. But that also makes me fear what this power is too. To cause that reaction… I just" she puts a hoof on her forehead. "I just don't know anymore…"

Fluttershy floats on closer, her genie tail circling around Rarity as she floats just above Rarity's left shoulder as she pats her on the back. "I completely understand, Rarity. It looks like something is very off when you haven't been in our shoes yet.

But remember what Spike said some days ago? He compared Sugar Belle's un-genification to you or Twilight losing your horn. Or to expand on that, can you imagine what Rainbow would be like if she lost her wings for a while?

Granted, you 3 may not immediately react in the same way Sugar Belle did, as you didn't do so when Discord literally did that to us. But you have to put it into perspective that for us genies, this power inside us feels like more than just a part of our body. There's so much more to it, and it's hard to explain to those who have not felt what it's like yet with just words. Which is probably why Starlight just doesn't bother and forces ponies through the change anyway.

There's so much that genification enhances, perhaps the best attempt I can do to explain it... is maybe it felt like a part of Sugar Belle's very own soul was missing when we ungenified her if that makes any sense"

Rarity thinks back to when they were up against Discord for the first time, it felt like so long ago now... "Yes, I do remember. I was shocked and livid. I wanted nothing more than to get my horn back. I would have done anything for… oh… I suppose I do see your point..." While she was now understanding where Fluttershy was coming from, it still raised more questions. (“Taking that into account, it's almost as if we're the villains here! But, we're trying to save Equestria as we always have! Return things to normal”)

The conflicted look on Rarity's face only grew more severe. Her brows furrowed, her hooves fidgeted. The gears in her head were turning but each new thought clashed with another. "It's that forced nature that just gets things all twisted, it's just wrong. Ponies forcing their methods on others and forcing this… I cannot abide by that. Not ever!" (“But...the argument that we've been doing the same thing all these years, is that wrong?”) "Fluttershy, I have to ask. You say that you don't see things eye to eye with Starlight, you've made that quite clear. But what do you feel about what we've done up to this point? And..."

She stopped, almost as if she were afraid to ask the next question, worried about Fluttershy's feelings as well as what the answer would be. "When you changed, something in you clicked… your transformation, it was more than a physical one. We've had talks before, but I've never heard you speak like you have since becoming a genie. You're different, and I'm not saying that's bad or good, but it's a noticeable difference in your demeanor, how you talk and act… especially when you spoke of your future plans. What I want to know is, was that a part of you that you hid away all this time? Or did it only happen because of the change? I'm sorry if that comes off as if I don't trust you, but I have to know the truth."

Fluttershy actually compassionately understands the idea of this question "I will say I do still trust you girls more than I do Starlight, you're all still my best friends. And I don't hold anything you and the others are trying or will try in the future to reverse things. Just like how I plan to help Starlight see things in a better light, I also hope to help you girls see, especially when one or more of us become genies. The ones still left gradually learn to respect the idea that there's more gray areas then there are explicitly black and white ones" Fluttershy tells Rarity straight, not even saying the word if another of them will be genified.

"W-when more of us become genies? S-surely you mean 'if'... don't you?" Rarity couldn't help but ask as she clearly noticed Fluttershy said it as if she knew the others would be turned eventually. Once again Rarity found herself on the back hoof, it was as if she'd traded her own confidence for Fluttershy's timidness. She gulped nervously, wondering if she's next. Though part of her is excited by the thought, which at the same time makes her question herself again on what she really wants.

"As for my new demeanor... you could say it's a little of both. On one hoof, there's no way I could speak this confidently that quickly before my genification... but... I feel like it didn't just create a new me out of thin air, it feels much more like I've finally unlocked a part of me that I have been working all my life to finally set free.

You have to remember how I was when you first met me, and our first years as friends when I was as timid as ever. But thanks to you girls, I was working toward becoming more like the pony I wanted to be on a consistent basis. It's been mainly baby steps, and sometimes I relapsed back into my more comfortable introverted tendencies.

I really don't know how long it would have normally taken to get this far. But thanks to the empowerment I've received from being a genie. It's blown away every little insecurity and self-doubt in my mind, near instantly. And it didn't overdo it either, like when I got terrible advice from Iron Will when I berated you and Pinkie... I'm about as confident as I was after Iron Will's sessions, but I have the self-control to apply a more gentle nature when needed and avoid insulting those who don't deserve it" Fluttershy gently smiles.

As Fluttershy explained her shift in demeanor, it did make more sense to Rarity as well. "So you're saying this is more like a natural conclusion to where you wanted to be? Just sped up because of the transformation then?" (“Could that be why it feels so strange to us? It's almost like she skipped several steps in the process and came to us as somepony we didn't recognize”) The comparison to when she was influenced by Iron Will made it very clear what this 'new' persona was "That does make much more sense, you haven't tried to put us down like you did then. It's also not like when the lot of us were under Discord's influence either. I apologize, Fluttershy. I'm happy you're feeling more confident, it's just the suddenness of this change in you..." She puts her hoof to her chin to think on how to word this properly.

"Imagine as if it was like we'd all been separated for years only to find that you've become different from what we're used to or remember. Because it was like a switch being flipped in you, it set off alarms in our heads since changes we make to ourselves, we tend not to notice as they feel natural over the progress of time. Whereas the sudden shift comes as a shock to those not in the know. Again, I must reiterate that I'm happy you can be confident and out of your shell. But it will take some adjustment time for all of us."

Fluttershy chooses not to answer Rarity's question on whether she meant to say if another one of their friends are genified. Only giggling a little softly before moving on to the other conversation. Nodding to Rarity's observation.

"That sounds about right, though at the very least that's without the obviously long time of not seeing each other. As it was literally only minutes between my genification and my first emergence.

It does make me curious though... what possibly genification might help you with...

Maybe you'll never be tired during late night workings, your schedule as flexible as ever...

Maybe you'll never run into an art block ever again...

Maybe it'll rest your worries about aging as I imagine eternal youth must be.... tempting.

Oh, and we can't forget dietary habits... You could make your own and/or eat as much ice cream and sweets you want without gaining a single pound...

I have to imagine a few of these thoughts... or even all of the above have crossed your mind already... but is there more I could be missing?~"

Rarity doesn't say anything, practically sinking into herself as Fluttershy tells her of all the things becoming a genie could alleviate. Fluttershy isn't wrong on any of those points, though Rarity does feel a bit insulted about the jab at her weight. More thoughts do cross her mind about the possibilities, it looks like she's going to break down and make a wish for any of those things… but instead she stomps a hoof hard on the floor.

"ENOUGH! I know what you're trying to do here, Fluttershy. You're compelled to make everypony a genie, see things your way, but you of all ponies should know. Even IF I wanted those things, I do not want to take shortcuts and take simple gains for myself. I learned that the hard way when Spike had given me that ancient spellbook some time ago. I lost sight of who I was, and what I was doing." She stands up, as if she's about to leave, her confidence having come back. "If I am to become a genie like you say, it will be on MY terms. Nopony else's, that includes you, Fluttershy. Temptation alone will not sway me, no matter how wondrous it may be to be more like you are now."

To Rarity's surprise, Fluttershy actually claps for her regaining her confidence and stepping up to her.

"I wouldn't have it any other way, actually. You should become a genie when you feel the most ready for it. I'll admit I was just testing you a little, though I suppose if that had been enough to get you to become a genie... it wouldn't have hurt to get it all done already~”

That said, that doesn't mean you can't still at least privately indulge in your not-so-subtle interest in genies until then.”

"A little? Darling, you were laying it on quite thick… this is that new part of you that I said the rest of us will need some... adjusting to." She keeps standing, but no longer looks like she's about to rush out of Fluttershy's home. The mention of still privately enjoying her interest in genies causes her to raise an eyebrow. "What are you getting at?"

“Well first, do you remember Discord's magical social program from earlier? One thing I wanted to potentially try asking you for this talk... is if you'd like to give it a shot with your own account. We'll only start with me and you in private messaging, but if more ponies show up on the service you can ask to friend them later.

Eventually, Discord will add the ability to have full-on ‘servers’ anypony can create where multiple ponies can hang out and chat, even those not on your friend list. Where we can all talk about many things together from anywhere in Equestria." She winks "And it doesn't lose connection when inside a vessel if you're curious about that, hehe"

As Fluttershy explains Discord's magical social service, Rarity's mood brightens at the prospect here. "If only he could have introduced that in a less dire time. But now that is a wonderful way to keep in contact with everypony! I could even use it to keep in contact with all my clients!" She pauses and gets a bit skeptical "Wait… I don't need to be a genie to use it right? This is just so we can speak without needing to always be near each other? I can access it with my magic? And what does that have to do with what you said a moment ago about my 'private interests'?"

"Nope, you're perfectly able to use it while you're not a genie. Both me and Princess Celestia were among Discord's first ‘beta’ testers before we became genies. Although. being a genie does make it a tad easier at least for me… as before, I needed a special bracelet to use it. Whereas any unicorn or alicorn can activate it with their horns.

But as for your private interests... we'll get to that soon. Let's just get you that account" Fluttershy lifts a hoof up, closes her eyes, and focuses. A rectangular magical screen pops up and enlarges in size. On the screen was a login screen with two white skinny rectangle bars asking for a Name. And either a magical signature, or a password depending on whether the pony was using a bracelet or not.

"Go ahead Rarity, enter your name and send some samples of your magic into the screen so it can recognize you. Only you will be able to access your account, not even changelings can copy your magical signature in the same exact way"

"I see..." Unlike earlier when Fluttershy was trying to tempt her with genification, there's no extra giggles, no sense that this is a trick of some kind which puts Rarity at ease. Her horn flickers as she inputs her data followed by some bits of her magic. "I must say, Discord did a fine job with this!" The screen in front of her shows a small spinning circle as it takes this information, not long after, Rarity's met with a welcome splash screen that says in Discord's voice

Soon enough, Rarity is now on the service without an issue, her profile picture is a generic looking blank pony face. She tilts her head "So… what do I do now? How do I make this more… personalized? And how do I go about adding you there?"

"Click your default blank pony icon, it should give you an option to view your profile and then change your icon. Then, DisChaos will ask whether you want to make your avatar a portrait photograph of yourself.

Or if you want to be a little more creative and represent yourself with something else to represent you. You can do that too.

There's also a 3rd option for you to simply have your Cutie Mark be your icon if neither of the other two options work out for you. Your cutie mark is already memorized by the program when you enter your magical signature.

You won't need to uh... literally take a picture of your flank to do that a heh heh heh..." Fluttershy blushes a little imagining how awkward that might have been for ponies who wanted their cutie marks as their avatars.

"As for adding me, that should be simple. I'll just send you a friend request myself" Fluttershy pulls up her own screen and in an option that says "Add friend" Fluttershy types in Rarity's name. Next to Rarity's name and default avatar was a green button with white text that said "Send Friend Request". She clicks it, and within seconds a notification sound is heard on Rarity's screen as a red circle with a 1 on it appears in the upper left corner. Rarity has gotten her first friend request on DisChaos.

The prospect of taking a portrait of herself made Rarity smile in delight "Oooh I have to try that when I get home! I can change it whenever I want, right? I'll have an avatar for each month!" She snickers at the idea of taking a picture of her flank for the avatar. "What kind of mare do you take me for? Hahaha, that would be absurd. But I'm surprised to hear you say that now, I would think you'd be wanting to flaunt your mark!" She felt some more relief that there were still some bits of the Fluttershy she recognized there.

Her eyes widen as she sees the notification for Fluttershy's friend request. She follows the instructions given to her and clicks on the green arrow to accept the friend request. Soon after, Fluttershy appeared on her friend list! "Ah there you are, it worked! This is quite the marvel!"

Fluttershy smiles "Excellent! Now to test this via some distance, while I could simply just teleport far away and try it out that way... I wanted to give us a test through another fashion... I am going to go back into my vessel. And we'll at least briefly talk on the chat program while you're out here and I'm in there... If when you first got here, you tried to call out to me while I was still inside, I couldn't hear you before. But now DisChaos can be a method to contact me even while I'm resting peacefully inside my bottle.”

"Wow, that's incredible! And there's no distance that this won't work from? You could be on the other side of the world and I'll still be able to talk with you like you're right here?" She asked in awe "I suppose you testing it from the inside of your vessel makes sense." The mention of this serving another purpose puts Rarity on edge

“However... this will also serve another purpose~." Fluttershy's eyes go half-lidded before she spawns a sort of camera on a tripod that points to where Fluttershy's vessel is standing. "You're about to get a live show... to one of the most heart-pumping performances us genies can provide... pleasurably re-entering our vessels with grace~" Fluttershy eyes Rarity as the yellow genie bites her own lip.

Rarity lets out an audible gulp at the prospect.

"A… a live show?" Rarity cannot help herself but blush at this private showing from Fluttershy. She tries her best to contain her excitement but it's clear from the way she's shaking that it's tantalizing for her to get to see this. "Y-you're serious? Is… is it like what happened when you had transformed?" She thinks back to every time she's seen a genification, the moans each pony let out, it was like a siren song calling out to her. She could resist it… but didn't know for how long. "A-alright, for testing purposes. Let's do this…"

Fluttershy more than happily obliges. She closes her DisChaos screen, which itself makes an exit almost coincidentally in a genie like way but back into one of Fluttershy's hooves. Rarity presumes that when she closes her screen, it may enter her horn. She briefly wonders if she'll feel anything when she does close it.

But on to the 'private show’, with Fluttershy flying away from Rarity's side to just above her vessel. Fluttershy picks up the vessel's stopper and lets it float above her. Fluttershy then rhythmically and slowly shakes her hips, Fluttershy takes her time entering the vessel.

Fluttershy smiles before floating upwards and slowly enters her lamp with a long elegant flowing motion while moving her wings in a slow rhythmic motion. The slower it was, the better it felt, inch by inch Fluttershy's genie tail shrinks more and more. Fluttershy coos with soft moans, she does some dances with her upper body. Her forehooves gracefully being moved in yoga-like poses, she hasn't stopped moving her hips from left to right.

Rarity's cheeks blush pink, and a slight drool from her mouth as Fluttershy's performance continued. She can't help but be captivated by her genie friend's magic.

Her dancing only gets more entrancing and captivating by the second and she gives Rarity the best show possible. She continues to shake her body as she puts her forehooves to her sides allowing them to stretch along her increasingly smokey and curvy, lower body.

As the genie tail starts to give way to the parts of Fluttershy's visible pony body. Her moans intensify, cheeks ever blushing more pink. Fluttershy reacts by dancing a little faster then she was before, drawing out big breaths and sighs. It was increasingly clear that even if perhaps it doesn't come with the initial first shock of pleasure that a genification has. Re-entering the vessel post-genification was far from going back into a prison, what may look like simply itty bitty living space to those not in the know. Was a feeling of more comfort, more pleasure, and more relaxation than any mortal could ever dream of.

Fluttershy stretches her forehooves downwards to let them enter the vessel now. She could no longer do much more of her dancing, but she does all she can with some subtle moves of her shoulders and tilting her head from side to side all while expressing more sighs and ever more intensifying moans. Soon her shoulders, and the lower part of her pink mane follow her forehooves into the vessel. Leaving her as just a neck and a head.

She tilts her head slightly upward, her loudest moan of the moment sounding out as her veil and mouth stretch toward the vessel’s entrance. The moan is then muffled, echoes, and decreases in volume as all of Fluttershy is once again contained in the vessel. The butterfly shaped topper falling onto the opening to seal Fluttershy once more with a clink.

Rarity now the only pony physically in the room again, left to contemplate yet again the fantastical moment that is a genie becoming one with their vessel for the first time or once again on her lonesome. And while Fluttershy's animals can't exactly imagine what happened, the movements of their caretaker mesmerized many of them. They knew by now that Fluttershy was unharmed by this strange process. They soon go about their usual daily lives once they've shaken off the mesmerizing movements of Fluttershy from their heads. Whereas the memory of those movements linger far longer in Rarity's head.

Rarity can't tear her eyes away from Fluttershy throughout her entire performance. While she'd been in awe of the way the genies were transformed and the sheer pleasure on their faces as they got sucked into a vessel. This was far different, this was a show specifically for her. There was no shift from fear to pleasure unlike when she was first transformed. The constant hip swaying followed by the moans made Rarity turn beet red.

She couldn't help but take a few steps closer to watch as Fluttershy was sucked in fully. A thought… no, a desire built within her, the urge to want to experience that herself. To at least know what it's like, her breathing had gotten heavier, she grasped at her chest. This was far more sensual, more intimate than the initial genifications were in her eyes.

She took a moment and took a few deep breaths, the scene would be replaying in her mind for days to come. (“That was… that was… oh my, calm yourself, Rarity.”) She fanned herself with a hoof, as if she were overheating. She walked over to the nearby couch and sat down "I'm never going to forget what I just saw and heard...." Once she was able to compose herself just enough, she sent a message to Fluttershy via DisChaos

In a quick moment, something begins to load on Rarity's screen that's sent from Fluttershy. Once the loading bar is complete. Rarity can see a thumbnail of Fluttershy floating above her vessel. She clicks it, and lo and behold. It was a FULL recording of what she had just witnessed. High quality video and sound like she was seeing it for real all over again. That must have been what the camera on the tripod was for. To add to the fact that Fluttershy's performance was going to stick to her quite mentally, she could now view it again and again, entirely as she pleases.

Before Rarity can even type up a response, she sees the attachment that Fluttershy had linked to her and gasps

Deep down she knows keeping it might just make her fall right into Fluttershy's hooves, but... (“I suppose viewing it more times won't hurt... it's...for research! plus I can see how the clothing needs to work when we...THEY get sucked into a vessel, yes! I will not use it for… fantasizing…”) She lets out a nervous chuckle to herself as she justified this thought.

She does feel good about knowing that despite a genie's ability to make anything, her creative spark would still be appreciated in such a world. (Good, so I'll still have my business just in case we change… b-but I'm certain we'll come out victorious!)

"She wants to give me more?!" Rarity blurts out loud, her face flushed red. She shakily types, Fluttershy can see the 'Rarity is typing' message with long pauses before continuing. Clearly she's struggling with her own personal excitement as well as trying to think how she can word it without seeming as such.

"Tch..." Internally, Rarity was disappointed to hear this but this is still better than having no information at all. And she was relieved that Fluttershy will stay true to not being a spy for Starlight either. With a heavy sigh, she types

She stops before typing out another message

"Curse my overt curiosity..." She mutters to herself (This may mean I might be her next direct target if she's aware of my… interests. She's been gone since Fluttershy and Meadowbrook were genified as well, she could have genified a good number of ponies by now.) This information doesn't discourage her, if anything it's pushing her to build up her resistance even more.

A moment later a loud POP sound is heard as the topper flies up with the tendril of yellow smoke quickly reforming back into Fluttershy's shape. It's faster and not as showy as when Rarity lifted the topper herself. Making Rarity wonder whether Fluttershy's emergence earlier was itself a show too, or if there was a tangible difference between a genie letting themselves out. And another releasing them from their vessel.

Rarity tilts her head at Fluttershy's quick emergence. While interesting in its own right, the lack of flash and substance is odd. (Did she just go all in for my own sake when I opened the bottle? Why was this not like before? Do genies just get to choose?) For now, she puts that thought in the back of her mind, she smiles at Fluttershy and gives her a hug "Thank you for everything today, the talk may have started out a bit rocky, but I would like to have some more private talks. It would be like how we used to spend time together, I know I'd certainly enjoy that."

"Of course! And thanks to DisChaos, we can message and plan when our next meeting happens! You can feel free to close it for now. All you need to do is move the cursor to the red x in the top left corner. It will then compress and fly straight into your horn, heh, almost like the program itself is the genie of your horn!" Fluttershy giggles

"Oh is that how it works? Alright, I just do this and..." As she clicks the red X, it twists and pulls into Rarity's horn, sending a bit of a shiver down her spine. It wasn't unpleasant but it definitely wasn't what she was expecting. "O-ok that was...um interesting. But I'll be looking forward to our next little talk. Plus, I'll be able to let you know the exact moment your new outfit will be ready with this DisChaos thing!" She lets Fluttershy go from her hug and walks towards the door. "Fluttershy, I want you to know, no matter what happens, I still see you as one of my best friends. I'll try to get the girls to understand that as well, even if we don't see eye to eye on this Geniequestria thing. I know you can't be hurt but… still be careful around Starlight ok?"

Fluttershy tilts her head, and grins with a smug face."Hehe, this is where you're still underestimating me because of my shyness from before. I'll have more than enough ways to carry on my own even when it comes to Starlight. Her plans are a double-edged sword after all, she's empowering everypony and they'll all want to genify others they know. But she can't make everypony do her bidding, and there's nothing she can do about a genie that knows when to say No~

That's where she'll eventually need to learn some generosity, earn a favor by gifting ponies with kindness. And that's exactly what we can do, together. Whether or not you're a genie by then at that"

"Is that right? I suppose that is one of your strengths, you really can do anything you set your mind to, Fluttershy, that was true even before you became a genie. With your willpower, you might be the key to fixing this world after all, darling. We'll both need to do our best, to make it all work in our own way. Maybe you can get some other genies to realize that they can say no as well." She smirks back.

The idea of teaching Starlight generosity sounds far-fetched but she knows not to brush off anything as impossible, especially with what she's seen in the last few days. "If you can guarantee she'll actually listen, then I might be willing to teach her true generosity as long as she doesn't try to trick me if that time ever comes. But I know better now than to underestimate you, but don't underestimate us as well!"

Fluttershy nods, then flaps her wings, and majestically spins while still floating in the air and tailed to her vessel. Pink and green magic sparks pop around her to give Rarity a nice little light show before she heads out the door. She then smiles gently, winks, and waves her left forehoof goodbye.
