You know, it's actually funny that everytime i have freetime and free will - i draw Hobie.
Reasons? I have none, he just feeds all my needs in experimenting with colours and textures. Maybe that was the reason... idk, it's just refreshing (even if i draw him grumpy and bored, he's looking kissable in any mood)

Yup! He's not "confused but got the spirit," he's actually demonstrating that he's very aware and progressive! His language is as up to date as it could possibly be
I'll have to disagree with the notion that "african american" or "POC" could one day become offensive though. Prior to the 1930's, we didn't get much say in how we were referred to by the public and other people. Negro was better than being called nigger, but it wasn't a word our community came up with for themselves. (There are of course prominent black communities who preferred "negro" over later terms like "black" or "african american" but thats the nuance of such a diverse group of ppl).
Words do change and its important to recognize that what was progressive in the past can be offensive today- but the words we use now are words chosen by black folk and poc, so that's an important difference to keep in mind 👍🏽

I designed the outfit that Gwen wears to prom in Across the Spiderverse!
For her outfit I was asked to bring in some 90s/grunge influence- the idea was that Gwen wouldn't buy a dress off the rack for prom, she would probably throw together her own outfit and customize it herself. Numbers 4 and 6 are closest to the version that ended up in the movie!

I’m losing my hyperfixation on the witcher because I now love the spiderverse so much and I blame YOU /lh
(I was looking for a comic where Noir thinks Punk is gay because he’s old and I ended up scrolling through the ‘spider-noir’ tag of your blog for like. two hours. I just love the line “Wait. So you thought everyone was calling me spider fa-” “I THOUGHT THEY WERE ALL JUST VERY ACCEPTING”)
Haha, I'm not even the one who wrote that part of the post, it was a reblog so ye, i can imagine it took you awhile to find it RIP
