He nodded. [ very well. I have to ask as well, can you engage in combat if needed? ] he asks, taking the tea from the flame. [ I’ll protect you further if needed, but I need to make sure. ]
he pulls some porcelain teacups out and pours their tea. [ do you like anything in your tea? ] he asks, looking back up to her.
She shook her head. “It isn’t indeed… They’ve been some of our best man.”  It was a real mystery. No one had an explanation for what might have happened to them. Beside that they may already be dead… “It is very praiseworthy of you, dir. But If you would do so, I’d like to join you.” Lucille wanted to know and to see with her own eyes what was happening. It was the place where she had grown up after all. “All I can tell is that a resident of our town had discovered that the way had been unlocked… It was kept close for a long time. And we don’t know who or what has opened it.”

His brow furrowed some. [ Two of the Choir have gone missing? ] he tilted his head. [ That’s not good at all, my dear. ] he paced some as he thought. The choir consisted of skilled people- they may not be fighters, but they certainly never just gave themselves up.
[ I could go and investigate. ] he offered. [ all my Executioners are out on other missions in Yharnam. What more can you tell me? ]
She took a look around. Everything seemed very comfy even if the room wasn’t that big.Lucille noticed his glance and looked at him in return. She had seen many different people all over Yharnam with very pale eyes.  But she had never seen anyone with silver ones. They were very fascinating.
“It seems like something happened in the Upper Cathedral Ward…” The choir woman sighed. “Two choir comrades had been sent to find out more about the current situation. None of them returned.”

He nodded, and went to prepare the tea nearby. Over a small flame, before turning to her. He didn’t have his hat or Veil on at the moment, so those piercing silver eyes looked to her with a curiosity that spoke novels.
[ What’s the occasion? ] he asks, walking back over to sit while the tea brewed. Quite curious indeed. He’d hardly ever gotten a visitor in  while, having assumed things were going well
“Thank you.” She bowed to show her respect in the same manner she had learned from the other church members. Closing the door behind her, Lucille sat down as she had been offered. “That would be very nice of you.” The woman smiled back in return.

Piper ducked his head some as they passed the servant- He wasn’t sure what was worse, the scary monsters they passed, or that they existed at all.He wiped his eyes and  sniffled, looking to the pretty woman as she carried him off. She was very nice, that much he could tell, and mama only knew nice people. Perhaps she was a friend of Mamas? He hoped so.
He rested against her some, hiccuping a little pathetically from his fit earlier.

A little boy, lost in the Cathedral Ward was standing among the statues, sniffling and crying his little eyes out. He was terrified- He didn’t know where he was, but he wanted his mother or even brother terribly. Where was he? He said he’d always protect you!
The sound of approaching footsteps catch his attention. he whirls around and runs off- a familiar bell around his neck ringing as he tried to run off, but he stopped, coughing up a storm  and held his chest. It took some time before he curled up on the ground to try and hide from the tall woman. His arms covered his head as his long, black hair flared out over the stone ground.
he just wanted to go home.

He was quiet... but a faint smile was upon his face- Ah, Another church member. He could be bothered with this.
[ But of course. Please, Come in. ] he gestures for her to enter the room as he stood,  pulling the chair opposite of him out.simple gentleman's etiquette, after all. [ Would you like any tea? ] he asks. [ You’ve come all this way, would be rude not to offer at least. ]
She had never been at this place before. At least not that she could remember. Lucille hadn’t heard much about the man behind the door. But still she came to seek advice from another servant of the church. Taking a deep breath the woman knocked at the door and entered the room a moment later. “Good evening…” She greeted the man. “Dear Inquisitor…may I have you time, please?”

The little one tensed up and looked to her. He tried to wipe his eyes and sign at the same time, but it was difficult as tears rolled down his face. Absolute misery was in his eyes- He didnt want to be here, clearly, and he looked for some semblance of home. So he did the only thing he could.
He clung tight to Abigail. She was the only friendly looking thing here, and she alread seemed to appeal to him with her smile. maybe she could help him home? maybe....
He looked up to her, his eyes gazing up to her.

Send me ☟ for my muse to turn back into their younger self, with only the memories that lead up to that age.
Mun gets to choose how young they want to go. If your muse has met them at an older age, then there is a possibility they wont remember you.

@guided-by-the-blood has entered the Inquisitorial office.
Piper looked up calmly to whoever came in. He wasnt expecting visitors, nor anyone else for the evening. So the knock on the door and the figure just past the door was...not anything he expected. He sat up, the warning bell around his neck jingling a little. His mouth didn’t move.. but he spoke in to their mind.
[ What brings you here this evening? ]

He chuckled. It was surprisingly gentle, oddly... familiar. It was like another Hunters... But the identity kept slipping.
[ I know, I’m just teasing. ] he said. [ I’ve been outside the ward a few times for the hunt myself. Nothing like getting out there and stretching your legs, I suppose? ] the voice he projected into her mind was very casual. Very calm.
Once her boots touched the ground, the Yharnamite dusted her slacks off, “At least it wasn’t one involving teeth and claws.”
She quickly jogged after the inquisitor so she wasn’t left behind. Once she was in pace with him, she nonchalantly waved him off, “As a hunter I tend to do the same thing. Have to in order to survive.”
Abigail blinked as she saw the smile before she shrugged, “Not really? The Hunt takes happens at more places then the Ward.”

He glanced over, and pulled her down to walk beside him.
[ I’m sorry about spiriting you away like that. ] he said, swallowing his pride. [ Action before thought is a habit hard to break in my work. ] He looked over to her.
[ .... I haven’t seen you often enough. Don’t suppose you’ve been avoiding me for a reason? ]
.. he’s smiling, and not threateningly. One could even argue it was a playful sort of grin?
Abigail gave a huff before propping her chin up on his shoulder, “Ain’t that the truth….”

[ And sometimes you’ll have to look through them, whether you want to or not, Abigail. ] he stared ahead. the little bell around his neck jingling.
[ Sometimes you have to see things you don’t like to see. ]
Abigail gives a nasal snort, “So voices aren’t meant to be heard nor windows looked through. Sometimes they just aren’t what ye like.”

“Looking and saying are two different things, Inquisitor.”
