I actually went outside today! Currently on my longest layover so far! 30 hours in Sacramento! I picked up this trip from a flight attendant I worked with the trip prior cause she didn’t want a long layover. I love staying in hotels and just wanted to chill in the hotel and video edit. Flight attendant life means having an excuse to get gel nails on a regular basis. Has anyone tried dip nails? All the flight attendants say although it is more expensive, it lasts longer… I’m thinking about trying it out next. Also, I miss Vietnam prices… $5 for gel nails vs. $30+tip which comes closer to about $40 every 2 weeks…I’d much rather pay all the money directly to the nail tech 👩🏾‍🔧 If anyone knows a nail tech that does house calls in Atlanta, let me know! ✨Appreciation Post! ✨I’d like to give a special shoutout to my partner in crime, my chosen family @a.nnievu who flew from Denmark to support me and celebrate me graduating from Flight Attendant training with my wings. She not only came to support me but she found a way to make it happen for 3 weeks even as a full time employee living in another country. She not only came to celebrate one of my biggest milestones in life, but she flew on my last training flight from Atlanta to and from Los Angeles (4 hours each way) before graduation despite a fear of flying just to see me do my thang. 🙈 Then she flew back to Los Angeles with me after graduation to join me on my cross country road trip to move my home on wheels from Los Angeles, California all the way to Atlanta, Georgia. It was really nice to have your company. My favorite part was us singing horribly to some of our favorite songs without a care in the world along with stopping at gas stations and showing you how to check and add all the fluids to the RV. We used to joke years ago that we almost killed each other but considering the recent van life passing that joke is too soon and although we almost did, we survived our first road trip and our first time together in my RV! Annie thank you for being my biggest supporter in life and for choosing to show up for me. Your effort definitely doesn’t not go unnoticed. Last year I drove my Mini Cooper across the U.S. from California to North Carolina on my first ever cross country road trip and I did it solo. I did car living for 9 months last year 3 in California and 6 in North Carolina. This year I sold my Mini Cooper and bought my RV in February. It feels so good to look back at the vision board I made last year to see that all the things I envisioned for my life have become my reality because I worked hard to make them my reality. I officially have everything on my vision board from last year aside from my puppy… That will come with time when the puppy comes to me. For now, I’ll be planning a new vision board & enjoying the present moment. Last week I did my 2nd cross country road trip but this time in my RV with the company of @a.nnievu and what a beautiful feeling it is to be able to drive my home towards the start of my dream career. I am happy right here, right now and I’m exactly where I want to be. Before I dream of a new vision for my future I’m going to take some time to enjoy the now and all I have accomplished.
