Update

So, where am I? I went to a mental hospital for a week. At the hospital I was been given meds that have helped me a lot and I no longer wish to... Let's say "Game Over". I've been suffering with PTSD and night terrors for an eternity now, it's nice to have the diagnosis to finally have the words to express what is wrong with me. It's the first step to getting help. I'm no longer so low even my personality is toxic. A few people have told me how it no longer feels like being torchered to be around me. That's nice to hear, but I need to feel that too. I'm slowly learning to love myself. I've needed to learn how to love myself my whole life, but it's finally coming together. I'm trying to get over all my fears and trauma. I've sat my parents down and finally managed to put my abandonment issues behind me, this is one of the things that hurt people around me the most so thank god It's going away. I hope the people I hurt can forgive me or at least see that I'm trying to change. I intend to keep making my self better, not just for me, but for the people who I hurt. For all the people I hurt, I Intend to make things better to you when I'm the person you should have been friends with, instead of the person you were friends with. The old version of me is d*ad, or, d*eing more accurately and that's a good thing. I'm learning to love the new me, and I'm thankful of that.

Life n' Junk

I just made my first Therapist Appointment in years. I'm hoping this helps pull me from the void. Things aren't going to get better until I force them to, so here I am. I'm a bit scared after my last experience, but I'm too low to refuse any help. I've been hurting myself and others and I can't do that. Not to the people I love. This ends today. It won't get better today/immediately, nothing does, but it ENDS today.

Sure hope I don't have to completely scrap it because (1) the left half looks bad (2) the right half is all the wrong colours, and (3) GSV ended up having a good time with the game! That'd be a shame. (: Since it's not going to be used, I decided to WaterMark it and post it as Regular Art lol

CHERRY BARK!

You've seen Cherry Nack... Get ready for... CHERRY BARK! No this isn't the Sonic Heroes Bark design (that I still haven't posted but is finished ;-;) this is Cherry Bark! Cherry Bark is a Bark design to go along side Cherry Nack. For anyone who is seeing this as their first introduction to my art: Cherry Nack is simply just my version of Nack. It's just my name - Nack. No further explanation needed I think for the name. Cherry Bark noticeably doesn't have skin on his muzzle, instead having white fur that spreads down to him tummy. I hate when cartoon anthro animals have skin faces humans. It creeps me out and looks bad every time. Just, TAN FUR! It's made even worse when the noses are completely different colours. No, I refuse. Sonic, as shown on his nose, is pitch black and he just has tan fur. That's final! I'LL USE ALL THE AUTHORITY (that I don't have) ON THIS!

According to good 'ol Wal-Mart: "Boston Cream cake" is spelled "Boston Creme cake". That doesn't sound right. What's the difference between "Creme" and "Cream"? Am I losening my MIND!? I like cake.

Lizard Witch Lady

This was originally a Dragon. I forgot the wings. Not my proudest moment. As a result she looks like a gator. Gators live in the swamp, witches live in forests, forests are (kinda?) like swamps. There, saved it.

Modern Bean the Dynamite design

Soooo.... What If Bean, Bark, and N A C K were in Sonic Heroes? Well find out over the next two days! I wanted to take as much inspiration from how Sonic Heroes adapted Team Chaotix but toned down. Something that not a lot of people realize is that prior to recently, Bean and Bark weren't Sonic characters, instead they were general SEGA characters that just happened to be from the Sonic franchise. That sounds like it makes no sense but when they only appear in one Sonic game before hanging out in multiple other SEGA games that have no connection to Sonic other then them for 20 years, all the while not appearing in a single Sonic game the whole time, It stands to reason they were SEGA characters and not Sonic characters. Not only that, but all the games they appeared in were specifically made by SEGA AM2, so they were SEGA AM2 characters to be exact. I mention all this because I chose not to completely re-haul Bean and Bark's design because of their status as SEGA characters. Of course Sonic Team could re-design Chaotix, who even knew about Choatix before Sonic Heroes? But Bean and Bark? Bean and Bark we're AM2 character's by and from AM2, not Sonic Team and we all know what happens when a division of SEGA use something from a different division, don't we, Mr. Yuji Naka? According to various manuals and guides: Bean and Bark are competitive sports players of Snow Boarding and Soccer respectively so I chose to really lean into that. Bean in hooked up with a Varsity style jacket and his feathers on his legs sprawl out to give the look of sports shorts to complete the look. His tail feathers and head feathers have also been extended to make him resemble Woody Wood Peaker, helping to identify his actual speeches. Another thing is that this art is heavily referenced from his art from Sonic the Fighters. This is so that any ordinary joe could put my art and that art back to back and spot all the differences. It's going to be compared to that art anyways, why not make it easier for the viewer? I'm so very excited for ya'll to see the Bark the Polar Bear art I have made! It'll be out tomorrow and has 4 alts! Bark's riddled with Easter Eggs to his past as a SEGA Character and I adore the way that art and this Bean art came out in the end! Any and all criticism is welcome as I'm always trying to evolve as an artist and thank you for reading all this! Have a wonderful day!
