This was not actually meant for this acc but. Y’know it can stay ig. This wasn’t about anything in particular I’ve just noticed over my years on the internet it feels like people are getting meaner and meaner. And I get it, I split — yes, I mean that clinically — and say awful, awful things about people who have hurt me. But when I can see things as they are, I see people are nuanced, people will try if they’re given a chance and space to. And I want to believe in that.

One thing that people seem to preach but never listen to — and I get it, it’s hard sometimes, ESPECIALLY if they’ve done something horrendous and unforgivable — is that people who have done bad deeds can improve, and it’s important to foster that growth and be kind. You don’t have to be around them, you don’t have to support them, you can even hate them. But you need to allow them room to get better, to grow, if they’ve shown themselves to want to. I want to believe in people getting better and loving those around us.

I think I wanna like… queue-wise I don’t have Wind Runner or Thunder done yet. Gray Wing and River Ripple are already queued for the next two Fridays and then I’m officially out of the queue from 2022-early 2023. I have a traditional sketch of Wind Runner and sketches of some other cats — Frostpaw, for one. I think I wanna just get the founders done and digitalize a few of those sketches and then break time.

I don’t pay much attention to the fandom anymore, just kinda wanna post my queue from last year-earlier this year and take a break but sometimes it’s like. Idc whatever discussion’s happening but I think it would be funny to poke Nightheart with a stick because I like him and he’s so vehemently like the brat I acted like as a teenager. They write angry teenagers pretty okay.

#That isn’t to say he isn’t justified in being fucking PISSED at his family #there’s nuance in everything #In media and in life you gotta examine all the stuff that comes up and sometimes in the AITA everyone’s the asshole #I do genuinely feel like everyone aside from Frost in this arc is kinda weak as a protag tho and Sunbeam especially got snubbed #And even then they had Frost revolve around a man for a solid minute :/ #Anyways. #I also think it would be funny if they killed Squirrel but ik it prolly won’t happen #These books aren’t written to be GOOD though. They’re soap operas. Guilty pleasures. #And whether I like it or not a hyperfixation of mine so it’s hard to pack up and take a break
