Little!Near & Cg!Mello

Near’s little age can range from babyspace to toddler.

They’re nonverbal fully when in babyspace, but when they’re a toddler they’re able to still have conversations. Sometimes even solving cases when regressed.

When they’re frustrated and half regressed while working on a case, Mello will bring them their bottle with angel milk and cookies.

I think they’re pretty disconnected from the concept of age all together, so there isn’t a very clear line between their regressed headspace and big headspace.

I don’t think Mello would babytalk Near, he doesn’t really know how. The most he can do is petnames.

Near will tug on Mello’s sleeve to get his attention.

Very clingy

They like being carried or crawling around.

Gets very invested in their toys. I can imagine them using calico critters to simulate a crime scene for a case they’re working on.

Mello lifting Near onto the counter so he can watch them while making them food.

Constantly napping. Mello will find them asleep in places all around the house and have to carry them back to bed.

They’re always stealing Mello’s clothes. Mello lets them because it’s cute. (Just imagine Near in an oversized shirt and you’ll understand.)

Misa’s little age would be 3-5

She’s a total princess when she’s regressed. If she wants it, she gets it!

Lots of pouting. Definitely.

Her favorite activities are playing dress up and having tea parties

She’ll make you remember the names of all her stuffies (which, are a lot.)

She owns a lot of cute deco pacis, maybe even makes her own

Very clumsy baby. Her sippy cups /need/ to have handles, or she will drop them

Needs a lot of attention or she’ll get cranky.

Invites Matsuda to her tea parties (Yes, he even dresses up for it too.)

Somehow drags Light into playing dress up with her, L tags along because he thinks it’s funny

I think she would be pretty public about her regression. She’s proud of it and wants everyone around her to know what to expect if she does regress :3

at first, Mello would hide his regression out of embarrassment, not knowing what it was.

it wasn’t till Matt found him regressed after a hard day that he found out that it was regression.

Matt, being more knowledgeable on it, offered to be his caregiver.

Mello’s regression isn’t a positive thing for him, he only slips under a lot of stress, but Matt would help him turn it into something safe.

his little age would range from 3-6, i think.

he was never good at playing, and never properly learned. maybe even finds it a bit embarrassing. so he prefers other activities like coloring while regressed.

when Mello has a harder time falling asleep, Matt will let Mello lay on top of him. (even if he feels like he’s being crushed, he doesn’t mind.)

definitely sits on Matt’s lap and watches him game.

he’s a bit bratty, but that’s not much different from how he is when he’s big.

Mello will insist on eating chocolate until his stomach hurts. Matt doesn’t stop him, sometimes Mello just needs to fuck around and find out till he learns his lesson.

loves chocolate milk in sippy cups. doesn’t like bottles as much.

he isn’t that into pacifiers, either, even with his oral fixation. they get in the way, and he finds it irritating to take it out when he wants to eat.

his regression is involuntary, and he doesn’t like slipping into littlespace intentionally. Matt sometimes has to ease him into it for him to be comfortable.
