No, it’s not weird at all!! I’ve gotten this question before, and it’s nice to see there are some gravity falls fans out there still!

It’s like a yes and no. I was in the middle of rebranding my username (my previous one was “cosmic-hoodie”) and I wanted something that would be somewhat related? I thought of space, destiny, star, universe, and nebula, but I wasn’t sure which one to pick.

Sometime later that one episode aired and I heard Robbie say “destiny hoodie” and was like, alright- guess that’s the one!

9 months?? It definitely had to have been longer haha- But I’m alright, thanks for asking! I’ve just been busy with life in general and taking the time to grow up and gain some experiences!

Hi! I discovered your IzuOcha Art a while ago and I absolutely love it! I do have a question though, in the comic you did with the bracelets, I noticed you gradually changed the lighting to indicate the sunrise. How did you achieve this? It’s a really cool thing and I’d like to know how you did it, if you don’t mind :3

Oh wow, that was years ago! I'm betting this is the proposal comic one and not the other animatic. Ummm, if I remember correctly I think as I was working on coloring the pages, I consciously was adding in more pink and yellow as the morning went on. I didn't use overlays at all; it was all just hand picked colors. So with each page I'd make it visually less "cold"(?? if that makes sense) from the night. Just like in real life, if you've ever seen things around you shift to a brighter, warmer hue when the sun is coming out! Like once the previous page was completely colored, I'd color pick every object from that page and shifted the color closer to yellow/pink for the next page, and once the sun was completely up in the last couple pages I shifted it towards the typical colors you'd see in day time and not just drenched in purple/pink. But also, I remember trying to make the colors not stray too far from what the sky was showing so that it actually looked like the morning was progressing? Sorta like this:

That means a lot, thank you so much!! I’m happy that you like them and want to get to know them more! ; u ; Hmm, in terms of getting to know them, I’m not quite sure how to go about it? I’m very terrible with words, so I’ll consider making a character sheet of sorts to better explain them! Hopefully it’ll be enough for you and anyone else to know them better once I post it! ^-^ But!!! I guess to fill you in a little better somewhat, the version of Ascelle and Todd you saw in the animation meme is technically an AU because canonically they don’t really know each other, due to the fact that they are in separate stories. My partner and I loved the idea of them and other OCs interacting with each other that we catered a whole AU for it xD We haven’t came up with an official title for it, but I do like to refer to it as the Reincarnation AU. In this realm, they are born as regular humans on Earth! They met in high school through the track team, and after graduation they end up working in a joint cafe and bakery (Todd is a barista while Ascelle is a baker). During that time is when their relationship develops a little deeper compared to their school days.
