Day 5 of Legend of Zelda challenge- A Zelda character you have had a love interest in:
Zelda from Skyward Sword-
Say what you wanna say about Skyward Sword but it’s hard to deny that it doesn’t have the best relationship between Link and Zelda. I’ve also always wanted to have a girl best friend growing up so the friendship between Link and Zelda was more relatable to me than any of the other games. She’s also super cute.

Day 4 of Legend of Zelda challenge- Favorite song:
Song of Healing-
Is there any real contest of what the best Zelda song is? What could possibly be better than this song? Nothing! It’s so perfect! It’s sad, uplifting, and calm all in one.

Day 3 of Legend of Zelda Challenge- Favorite Villain:
Ganon(dorf)-
For the sake of not confusing anyone let’s just call him Ganon, and I’m going to be talking about the Ocarina of Time version specifically because I feel he represents Ganon as a character the best. His entire character is based around illusions. Whenever he’s around he always makes you think one thing is going to happen, but ends up something different happens. He even pretends to swear allegiance to the king of Hyrule only to gain his trust until Link and Zelda gather the spiritual stones. When Link returns to Castle Town to go to the Temple of Time Ganon runs after the escaping Zelda and Sheik making Link think that he’s just going to deal with them and leave Link alone. But nope Link falls into his trap that he had planned all along. He planned for Link and Zelda to retrieve the spiritual stones and Link to try pulling the master sword because he knew Link would have to stay there for 7 years. Which Ganon could use that time to turn Hyrule into his version of the dark world. When you finally are able to battle Ganon this time in the form of Ganondorf he’s playing the organ which after he starts floating just randomly disappears. The ensuing battle is rather easy for Link and makes him wonder if this all Ganon has to offer. After Link defeats his human form (Ganondorf) he lays on the ground as if dead, but uses this opportunity to sink the castle into the platform it is floating on. Playing on your expectations. Ganon then rises in his true form of a giant pig (Ganon). Ganon always has a trick up his sleeve that the player isn’t usually expecting. He also gets major points for being able to play the organ very well.

Oh man that Pokémon trailer has me all hyped. I’m gonna have a rough time choosing my starter pokemon. I love owls, cats, and seals. I usually choose the water type because they usually end up being the best in the long run, but I don’t know about this time.

I went to bed last night realizing I hadn’t done this yet.
Day 2 of Legend of Zelda game challenge- Favorite Character:
Skull Kid-
I empathize with skull kid very much. He lost his friends because he felt like his friends just randomly left him which made him angry and frustrated, but also emotionally vulnerable. When Tatl and Tael stumbled upon him inside of the big hollow log they comforted him in his time of need even though they didn’t know him. All Skull Kid needed was to feel wanted. However later when he found the Happy Mask Salesman walking through Termina he took the chance to pull another prank. He attacked the Happy Mask Salesman and ransacked the Happy Mask Salesman’s mask bag. While rummaging through it the Skull Kid found a mask called the Majora’s Mask that called out to his underlying loneliness that he still felt after the giants left him. He stole the Majora’s Mask and started to cause major trouble in Termina. The Majora’s Mask fed off of the Skull Kid’s confusion, love of causing trouble, and anger at being abandoned. After Link frees the four giants, kills Majora on the moon, and the four giants agree to be friends with Skull Kid again; Skull Kid returns to his childlike free-spirited self and asks Link to be his friend. At the end credits of Majora’s Mask you see a carving on a tree stump of Link, Tatl, Tael, and Skull Kid pretty much confirming that after everything they had been through they still considered each other friends.

Day 1 of Legend of Zelda Challenge- Favorite Game
Majora’s Mask 3D-
Have you ever thought a game was so perfect that you didn’t think there would be any way they could possibly make it any better? Well that’s how I felt when Nintendo announced that they were making Majora’s Mask for the 3DS. I was one of those people who when after Ocarina of Time 3D came out and everyone was clamoring for a Majora’s Mask 3D remake wasn’t really too enthusiastic about them remaking a game that in my mind was absolutely perfect. I didn’t want them to change a game that I thought was flawless even the tiniest bit. I told myself that if they ever made a remake of Majora’s Mask that I would buy it and play it, but wouldn’t expect it to surpass the original in any way. Fast forward to the reveal trailer of Majora’s Mask 3D. After watching it I was dumbfounded. How dare Nintendo mess with a game that was already perfect. I mean aside from the graphics the game didn’t really seem much different, but I watched it again a few days later and noticed that there were some differences. Such as the moon looking goofy yet still terrifying and all the characters looking more like people rather than just sort of cartoony people. I was blinded by my love for the original game. I still wasn’t impressed enough to say that this was looking to become the definitive version of the game. Fast forward again to February 13, 2015 the release date of the game. I stayed up until midnight just so I could download the game to my 3DS because I thought “Man everyone is going buy this game tomorrow, and there won’t be any physical copies of the game.” So I downloaded the game to my 3DS. It probably took 45 minutes, but I was patient and very eager to see how different this version would be. After it was finished downloading I turned it on, put the 3D slider as high as it would go, and waited for the Majora’s Mask to come up. I was shocked at how good it looked. Needless to say I was ready to save Termina all over again. As I went through the game and noticed all of the changes that they made I was beginning to feel that this truly was a “remake” in every sense of the word. From the bomber’s notebook being much easier to navigate and much more informative of whether you’ve helped certain people do things or not. To the changes in the boss battles where all of their weakpoints are their eyes. (Who would’ve expected it). By the time I finished the game I was absolutely certain that this... this is the definition of a remake. I did a little research on the original Majora’s Mask and found out that Nintendo only had 1 year to make Majora’s Mask thus why they decided to reuse most of the characters and just change their personalities. Why the game is shorter than Ocarina of Time. Every game design choice was dictated by their lack of time to create a whole new game. 15 teen years later when they have plenty of time to go back and change everything they did not have time to the first time around. They fixed all of the problems with the original and made the game feel like new again. Nintendo and Grezzo you really outdid yourself on this one. You made a game that I thought was the definition of perfection and made it even more perfect. You made my favorite video game of all time! Thank  you!  Bravo! Bravo! Here's to hoping if they ever remake A Link to the Past that it be half as good as this one.
