I read this post and I can't believe that this is the situation American high schools are in. It sounds so surreal and utterly horrifying.

I live in Germany and I don't even know if we have intruders alert. We never had a drill for a case like that.

We discussed this topic in class but I never knew how much it affects the every day love of American students. Everyone should see this post because I think most people can't even imagine how this feels like.

I'm so sorry for everyone who has to suffer through that, please stay safe.
