19/9/13 So I was suffering from a severe craving of dumplings today, but not just any old dumplings. Homemade ones~ Of course I’ve never actually made them myself before, so it was an interesting experience. Making the dough wasn't too hard, I have no idea how to knead though so I just made it up as I went. The dough didn't look particularly amazing, but it was good enough so I rolled it out, chopped it into 20 pieces and rolled each one flat. Making the pleats was stupidly hard though. Most of them looked horrid but a few turned out okay! The kitchen is basically covered in a layer of flour, and there are dirty dishes everywhere but my god these dumplings turned out well and taste amazzzzzzijnggggg.
