After his mutation, Splinter was a bit paranoid of Draxum with the turtles, so he insisted that the whole business of caring for them - feeding them, bathing them, etc. - was mostly his job, which obviously led to Splinter getting the most bites from his cute little purple boy.

SPREAD THE BODY PILLOW PROPAGANDA!

(in relation to you saying that doth draxum would never own a LJ body pillow even for research, in case you forgot)

Asking some writers/artists I follow:

Is there anything in your fic/comic that you as the author know about, but won't end up in the actual story?

So I have a rather uh disorganized way of telling the story of the TSAU, I jump back and forth in the timeline quite a bit depending on what part of the story I wanna tell. Overall I improvise quite a bit, and because of that I can't be 100% sure what will be depicted in the story and what wont. But I might as well share some little tidbits of lore that are probably not gonna be mentioned in the main story (though they still might who knows lol)

So uh. April and Kendra are exes. Kinda. They were pretty close friends when they were younger and decided to become a couple when they were like 9 or something. This lasted for a grand total of.... 2 days, maybe? Then they had a huge fight about something silly like, I dunno, Kendra hacked April's tamagotchi as a prank and she got mad so they broke up and they've had major beef ever since.

Draxum made Mikey wear some type of artifact or gear that supressed his mystic powers as a kid for his own safety. Mikey started showing an incredible talent for the mystic arts at a very young age. Draxum was excited about this for all of 5 seconds before realizing that Mikey is a VERY small child with NO impulse control and he's definetily gonna turn himself and the rest of the family into glitter unless Draxum finds a way prevent that from happening until Mikey has the chance to develop an understanding of consequences. (He's learned to control his powers well enough to not need them by the time of the main-story, so he no longer wears the supressors)

Donnie's whole villain-act he puts on is partially a coping mechanism. He grew up never knowing anyone like himself (unless you count Splinter, I suppose) so the only times he saw himself represented in anything was characters in comics and shows and such. There were plenty of anthropomorphic reptile characters in the media he consumed, and Donnie clunged to anyone or anything that he could at least somewhat relate to. Problem is, a lot of these anthro reptiles were like.... y'know... villains. It's pretty common for super heroes and stuff to fight evil mutant reptile creatures, and even stories with only anthro characters reptiles tend to be charactarized as more villainous. Granted, turtles specifically usually don't get this treatment, but it still had quite an effect on Donnie as a little kid that most characters similar to him would be viewed as evil, which caused him to internalize that mindset. So turtle tot Donnie basically went like "Yes! This is what I am! A villain in someone else's story! It all makes sense now! This is a healthy mindset to have!" and just kinda embraced the role that human society had given to him because he didn't really know how else to deal. (Things changed after meeting April and he found out that there might actually be humans out there who might treat him like a person and not just a freak of nature! He still plays into the villain-persona, partially for fun and partially as a coping thing, but he doesn't have nearly as a negative view of himself now as he did as a tot)

And last, but certainly not least................ Draxum owns a Lou Jitsu body pillow (PURELY for research-purposes, NO other reason!)

I didn't write for like two weeks and when I don't write for a while it's hard to get back into the groove. But I've been making steady progress.

This chapter is also coming out to be pretty long, so you guys have that to look forward to.

Bella: *looks at Leo* ... Are you okay, kid?

Leo: yeah, just ignore him, he's just still upset because I keep sabotaging him on purpose.

You know how in some AU's, like tizeline's AU, Draxum doesn't notice Leo's strategic skills at first, and therefore, unknowingly ends up favoring his brothers?

Well, I just imagined a situation where Leo screw Draxum out of Spite and looking for attention, which causes Draxum to discover his his his strategic talents and therefore ends up giving Leo the attention he wants, which causes Leo goes into full brat mode to get more attention, which Draxum hates. So he once again tries to ignore him, which then causes Leo to double down and develop more creative and clever ways to screw him over, which then Draxum once again has to admit are impressive, which ONCE AGAIN causes Leo to act even MORE like a brat, which Draxum REALLY hates! So once again!

Meanwhile the other turtles look at the two nervously wondering if they should call someone. Unless Splinter is with them, in which case he would have already tail-whipped them both.

A Draxum who raised the turtles from birth: "These are my masterwork creations and sons, Donatello Raphael and Michelangelo, and their brother Leonardo."

Bella: "Why isn't Leo your son?"

Draxum: "I don't like him."

Bella stared at her uncle's face for quite some time.

It really had been a while since she had come face to face with her uncle, their relationship had become quite rocky since the man, openly stated that he wanted to destroy an entire species, and THAT no, he wasn't joking.

God, Titan and any deity that could hear her, she really needed a drink, no wait! make that two….. can she make that three?

The only reason she had gone in the first place was to verify certain rumors surrounding her uncle along with a certain missing battle Nexus champion. Also, she wanted to see if she could shut up Pax's whining for now.

Upon arriving at the castle she had been surprisingly greeted by two cheerful pygmy gargoyles, one of which had a foam beard on her face, who upon realizing that this was their boss's niece, kindly guided Bella to the main hall where said Yokai was supposed to be.

She really didn't expect what she saw, like, at all.

Sitting in the only available seat in the room, next to the fireplace, was her uncle; who just staring wide-eyed and dilated at the crystal sphere in front of him.

While this in itself was strange, it did not compare to the following.

Resting on the Yokai's legs, gazing intently at the Crystal was a human, and not JUST any human, but it was the missing reigning champion of the Battle Nexus, Lou Jitsu, SLURPING A SMOOTHIE USING ONLY WHAT LOOKED LIKE A VIRGIN KILLER SWEATER.

Bella could have stared at the scene for hours, were it not for one of the gargoyles raising his voice.

"Hey boss, you've got visitors!"

In just a second both the human and the Yokai looked towards the entrance to look at the newcomer, and upon seeing his niece Draxum quickly stood up forgetting for a second the human on his legs.

"Ouch, what was that for!" Said the recently fallen Lou Jitsu on the floor.

Draxum looked at both the human and his niece with a nervous expression, still deciding to help the half-naked human up and immediately regain his composure.

"Bellona. Your visit is unexpected. What brings you here?"

Despite being extremely amused by this whole situation, Bella had not forgotten why she had come here in the first place.

"There are certain rumors spreading lately, about you and a certain missing human champion. I just came to check" she said secretly glancing sideways at Lou Jitsu.

His uncle crossed his arms and just gave him a bored look "I have nothing to do with it."

"If you say so."

It was that moment that Lou finally decided to say something.

"So you're Bella! Draxum told me about you, I was wondering when I'd get to see you!" Lou held out one hand towards Bella while with the other he tried to discreetly pull the sweater down to cover his legs a little more. "Sorry about the look, you caught us on laundry day."

Bella took the champ's hand with a smile. " No worries."

"Oh! I definitely hope you stay for dinner, I haven't interacted with anyone else outside of this house in ages! I'll go see if lar gargoyles have any of my clothes ready, I'll be right back!"

With that said, the human quickly exited through the entrance leaving the Yokai and his niece alone.

Back at the present. Bella looked at her uncle un the eyes. "So.... How long have you two been dating?"

Draxum frowned. "we're not dating."

"BULLSHIT!”
