In s1e6 they had some moments like when they were talking on the phone or when Kevin hugged Kyle in the bank and later on they clapped hands

I think there was a moment in the end of episode 9 in the 1st season where Kevin takes his tennis ball, and in the 9th episode in seson 2 they also had some moments together

In the 2nd season 2nd episode Kyle asked hif if he was ok when they were chasing the man

In s2e11 Kwvin hit his shoulder when Rico told them about FC fild

Also in 7th episode in the same seson Kyle put his hand on Kevin's shoulder when they were cheering for Rico when he hit the ball in the right way wgile trainning

And In the very last episode they were standing together

The thing about Leon not really being in the movie was for scheduling reasons, because Jimi was filming Sommer at the time

Him being a vampire suddenly would’ve been very good for drama sake I can totally see how he comes out of the shadows, with green eyes and all in black (basically like Vanessa was dressed as a vampire but like with a cool coat or something) She sees him and is in shock, tells him to come with them, they can find a solution for this and he just takes Darksides Hand and says something along the lines of “Ich komm nicht mit nach Hause. Ich bleibe hier.”

And you are 100% right, the reason that Blossom bit him was absolutely just for the heteronormativity

Oh my god, the fact that Blossom and Vanessa did not talk to each other is crazy, because they went through the exact same thing with the same guy and you are telling me they would not ever talk about that? Blossom even compares herself to Vanessa multiple times in the movie, I believe she sees something of herself in Vanessa. For example:

”Sie muss freiwillig kommen.” “So wie ich kommen musste.”

“Du hast sie schon wieder verloren, stimmt’s? Das passiert jedes mal, jedes mal wenn du uns beißt, stirbt die Liebe mit uns...”

Like, she means all of the girls, he had bitten before (and he was in fact the one biting them, that is not only implied but there are four vampire girls and Darkside is 419 years old) BUT that includes Vanessa. Blossom is very aware that she is helping him repeat the cycle and she feels obviously bad for Vanessa. I think they would get along pretty well after everything and bond over that same experience at least.

I unironically think Darkside is the deepest and most tragic character Joachim ever wrote. He was just searching for love, but in the end not being able to find it after so many tries that was what basically made him kill himself (If you consider that deleted scene canon) If not, he still ended up all alone.

Oughhhhhhh thinking about the fifth DWK movie never ceases to piss me off so hard for no reason

Its so weird that Leon is just like. a statue for the entirety of the movie when hes basically been the main character for most of the series. I mean, the first movie is definitely an ensemble piece where I'd have have trouble pointing out a true Main Character but in every movie after that I feel pretty comfortable saying that thats Leon and in this one its just like, hope you liked him in the opening scene because hes never coming back after this lmao

There definitely shouldve been a twist about Leon being a vampire now when they arrived at Vampire Castle, maybe not immediately when all the vampires introduce themselves but like, idk this series loves the stupid romance drama between Leon and Vanessa so maybe shes jealous of Blossom since shes the only girl their age in the vacinity and is yelling at her to let him go already but then Darkside comes in and he says something like "Leon ist zwar nicht freiwillig zu uns gekommen, doch er ist freiwillig geblieben :)" and then Vampire Leon makes his dramatic entrance and hes all goth n shit and then theres all this drama between him and his friends and Vanessa, like they could make stupid drama between him and Vanessa thats still fun and interesting they just dont do it for some reason (also yeah, I'll admit it, the main reason i wouldve wanted this happen is because I like Darkside and I like the idea of him having a gay thing with Leon, what of it)

Speaking of gay things or more accurately, a lack thereof, literally the only reason they didnt have Darkside turn Leon is that they wanted to avoid the gay implications of it for heteronormativity reasons, I refuse to believe its anything else when the reveal that Blossom turned him makes way less sense

Speaking of Blossom, I literally CANNOT BELIEVE that they introduced a girl Vanessas age to the group that wasnt some kind of ominous magical fog spirit and they just. didnt interact??? are you kidding me??? Like, shes more femme too so them befriending each other or getting together 😳 couldve challanged her Not Like Other Girls Attituide in an interesting way idk

I dont even really know why but I liked Darkside a lot and thought he was gonna be a sympathetic character but then nothing really came of that. I mean still think he is sympathetic even after watching the whole movie, like he was crying at the end, its just that everyone left him in that castle to presumably be alone forever, thats so cruel. It was honestly awful to watch it unfold, I could already see the pieces sliding into place when they established that you need true loves kiss to turn a vampire back into a human and Darkside clearly didnt have a viable love interest the way literally every other vampire had, but that just made it worse honestly

Like, all this cocky behavior is to hide his shit tone of insecurities.

It was show very well in S1E8. Damn, this bitch literally had voices in his head telling him that they can't stand him. Btw, it probably means that he doesn't trust his friends and always waiting for a betrayal as he immediately assumes the worst, even though there was no ground for that.

Idk, maybe I'll make a full analysis of his personality, buuuut I'll think about it.
