I'm in love with a criminal 

I'm in love with a criminal

she steals all my friend’s hearts

and keeps a collection just for fun

I'm in love with a wild beauty

she lives each day like her freedom is on the line

i'm in love with a thief 

she sneaks around my life

like a cat but I'm a dog

i'm in love with a burglar girl 

she leaves nothing of value in the rooms she's left

I'm in love with a poetic bitch

she eats men like air like sylvia plath 

I'm in love with a girl who's name

I've married once before

Yes cruel world I'm in love with a real fine criminal

but she hands out harsh sentences like a Maricopa judge

my heart's got life with no parole 

I'm in love and I don't wanna be

If she doesn't steal my heart

Then I'm gonna smash it.

I spent months and months finishing not one but three volumes of poetry. That's right, I have finished three books in the span of a few months. I have poetry on my mind every waking hour.. I didn't used to be like this. Other things consumed parts of my day like my relationship with my wife, like my job on Wall Street like sleep. When I walked away from my wife and job the sleep left too. I've had a long road battling addiction and poetry has been my therapy and my only healthy outlet. I have a dream to show the show the world what I've created, I think it will change the lives of some.

I'm in the land of the lost where dreams go to die.
