was sad because a character in another fandom was treated badly as a kid and imagined that m&m were his parents instead. now i want to be able to make maglor kidnadopt children characters whose family i don't like (maybe killing the whole town in the process isn't necessary i'll try to get him to stop that)

i should draw another merman/siren (the wet kind) maglor. i wanted to say harpy maglor but there's no way this guy is a bird. he does not have wings, it's against his nature, he is the opposite of a things with feathers. however,

maglor and fingon (or finrod maybe?) as sirin and alkonost

this is so maglor... i can't even simply redraw this as maglor because it's already him. the crown is because he's in his high king era. vasnetsov might've thought he was drawing a folk tale character based on greek sirens but i know better

(also of course alcyone is literally elwing yes but alkonost isn't)

helpp i still have many silm things i wanted to draw (and a couple to write) on various stages of development and the inspiration just isn't there... can you guys adopt them and treat them well pretty please

i guess i could post the writing ideas on silmkinkmeme (no idea how it works but i could try i guess) and hope someone blesses me with their writing but what would i do with the visual stuff... i have no money to pay for comissions (and afaik most silm artists i like don't take those anyway) + while some of them are just begging to be done already, some are stuff like "bruises are also plum-coloured btw" (a quote from a dear friend), i have NO idea what exactly i should do with it but do you feel the vibe

idea: maedhros rescue but it's fingon and maglor and maybe like two other people

it's taking longer than expected and they have to resort to eating whatever seems edible in angband

celegorm would want to go but they suspected he was just too enthusiastic to eat wargs and didn't tell him

maglor is scandalised but eats the monster of the day each time

fingon is just secretly relieved to eat something that isn't the flesh of his fallen friends

guys guys. which silmarillion character would suggest eating orcs and balrogs and stuff as a way to survive (i bet balrogs taste good they're literally already cooked)

and which is already an expert in it

Listen: Mithrun is just Maedhros a little to the left with a color palette swap. The way he survived something so horrible (leaving him with multiple permanent disabilities) and turned himself into a weapon in the hopes of destroying the thing that did this to him (ostensibly to protect everyone, but also for personal vengeance). Like THAT'S MY BOY

i would draw this but i barely know any composition so i need you to imagine this instead. maedhros getting his desires eaten along with his hand by a demon who's actually morgoth or sauron. like in that one panel

the problem is 1) the original page itself is insanely gorgeous and so disturbing and i could never do it justice 2) i have no idea what i want the demon to look like. maybe i could keep the goat? but it doesn't feel fitting for someone like morgoth or sauron. need to think of something more appropriate (suggestions welcome)

3) this is a minor thing but i'm not sure what to do with the hand. i guess the demon could twist it or something but it wouldn't be as horrifying as the eye thing + though in some drafts tolkien had morgoth chop off maedhros' hand, i prefer fingon doing it. so idk idk

rotating maedhros and mithrun in my head and it's funny because i keep thinking of maedhros as the good guy and mithrun as the bitch but then i remember which of them literally attacked refugee camps and kidnapped children and which was weird about his brother's girlfriend
