Update week 3: episodes 4-6 now have a draft recorded which means we are HALFWAY THROUGH DRAFTS!! In addition to this I received an offer for a job i was REALLY wanting it has been a fruitful week! As for recommendations: its Jack of All Trades time y'all!

Jack of All Trades is a FANTASTIC podcast from Faustian Nonsense that combines comedy and horror expertly and follows a truly incredible cast of characters (i would kill and die for Jack) Its the kind of show that's light hearted until it REALLY ISNT and thats something I adore. There is so much heart in Jack of All Trades and that is something I definitely try to emulate in my work. You can just feel every ounce of care that FN put into making it, it moves and breathes and flourishes and absolutely crushes my heart in the best way

YOU'LL LIKE JACK OF ALL TRADES IF:

-You believe in gay rights

-You believe in gay *wrongs*

-You like sassy side characters with secret hearts of gold

-You like ghosts

-You like blending the natural and supernatural

-You like characters with heart (but not always genre savviness)

And thats all for this week's update! I promise I will recommend a non horror podcast eventually, just not yet. My recording schedule is about to get a bit more hectic but I'm still hopeful that I can get this show out to y'all in the next few months!!

On a stakeout one summer night, the Justice League gets caught up in the middle of a swarm of super powered mosquitoes. Chewed up, they go back to the Watchtower to regroup.

Hal: Fuck. Who has the calamine lotion?

Diana, flustered: What were those?

Clark, never having experienced a mosquito bite before, on the verge of tears: :(

Bruce:

Hal: Hey Spooky, how come you’re not itching like the rest of us? They even managed to break through Clark’s skin.

Bruce: Bats can eat up to 1,200 mosquitoes in an hour.

Everyone: ????

Bruce: *swoops out the door*

Bruce: Better than expected.

Tim: Any idea why Green Lantern has left fifteen hysterical voicemails asking if you’re actually a bat cryptid?
