It makes me so upset that there isn't still an uproar about how the coroner up-and-went "Yeah it was drugs" after their head was smashed into a bathroom floor. Like, what the actual fuck? Is it just over? Are we not still going to raise hell about the absolute atrocity that is every fucking part of the situation? Nex deserves better. Fuck me, man. Goddamn.

TW: Death, nuclear war, anxiety

It makes me feel a bit unwell sometimes to realize that I've probably lived more than 25% of my life by now, and possibly more than half. I don't even know if I'm afraid of death as much as not experiencing, and my time not being long enough. I won't be able to see the awesome things people make, or the next advancements in technology. But dying itself is still definitely scary, and nuclear war is one of my absolute highest anxieties (like, it makes me feel sick to hear about it) even though the "experiencing" bit isn't there. The idea of the whole planet dying too is horrifying due to the sheer scale and loss. I at least want my remains to feed the planet; I want to live on in some way.

And then there's the paradox of wanting to die peacefully and well — and quickly, most of all —while also wanting my death to mean something. I don't know how it would mean something, partially because I would probably be too afraid of dying to make it so, but still. Can't die well on the barricade.

But yeah. I'm going to resume my watching of Jesus Christ Superstar now and hope the anxiety leaves me. Maybe I won't drink coffee this late anymore. Dunno.
