I have so many good ideas for this one 😍

A Deaf S/O

Miranda:

- When you first met she thought you were ignoring her, you had your back turned to her finishing up your school work after class

- All of her serfs thought you were about to die when Miranda walked over and tapped your shoulder but you jumped up in surprise which clearly meant you weren't ignoring her on purpose

- She began asking about the notes during class and of course you signed back, leaving her and her serfs confused

- "Why are they gesturing at me... Is this a greeting?" Her serfs don't know, most don't have hands, just fins. She tries to copy your movements... Its too damn cute

- you're going to need to write it in your notebook for her that you are deaf and speak through your hands

- Miranda is genuinely apologizing! But shes fascinated by this hand based speaking method!

- Dating she'll know key phrases, like: "What do you need?, Do you like this?, are you hot/cold, how are you feeling and I love you"

-She also knows broken words like "pretty, cat, fish, dog, shower and love"

- Only ONE serf is allowed to learn sign and thats her interpretation serf, she thinks having a hand based language among finned fish peasants could be handy (pun not intended XD)

- if its something you truly desire, Miranda will invest money in trying hearing aids-- but she doesn't mind you being unable to hear and will actually urge you to reconsider

Liam:

- You met in the standard school way, coach putting you in front of everyone for introductions "This is Y/N our newest teammate and addition to spooky high! Go get em champ! Make friends!"

- He let's you go back with the students before coach remembers "Oh yeah, Our newst friend is special, they are deaf! Keep your eyes out for sign!"

- most people don't know sign but Liam approached you and signed fluently "Hey, Y/N, welcome to the school" and walked off casually

-of course he knows sign hes 4XX years old! Plus its a nonstandard language to learn and the hipster in him had a field day

- Its helpful having him as a friend since you can talk freely, you become friends quickly due to everyone looking to him to translate your sign

- Dating is super fun, you can have the best conversations and no one knows what you're saying, he can open up in public without anyone judging him

- Expect romantic and sometimes spicy poems signed to you from across the room

-in fact expect commentary about the teacher and hoe passé the class is, its totally cheating at note passing and no one can stop you

- You can't listen to his music but the vibrations can be felt! Tell him about it, its something he might never experience on his own

Sorry for asking again but

I’ve gotta move by January because I can’t afford the place I’m staying any longer, and since I haven’t received any government assistance aside from a little over $100 in food stamps a month since the stimulus check, all of my expenses come out of pocket.

These last year has truly exhausted me physically, financially, and spiritually. I’ve endured the death of a friend, lost work hours, and declining mental health. I can endure, but I’m honestly reaching my limit and I’m out of options again until another legitimate job comes along because these gigs aren’t getting me where I need to be, and this frustration is starting to actually drive me mad and exacerbate other issues.

Please understand y’all, this is the fucking hardest year I’ve had for a while, the pandemic fucked me up, and you guys have really helped me so much. There isn’t enough to say about how much I appreciate you all.

I 100% understand if you can’t, things are tight right now for all of us, but if you can donate, I would appreciate it so much and it would truly impact my transition into the coming year.

- You are the most chaotic duo at camp, you'll blow things up, you'll try to find that wildfire and you'll beat every challenge!

- he'll "show you the ropes" of survival skills, if you actually know them already or not because hes a survival expert

-Damien will refrain from telling you about his bathroom shyness issues... That'd be the most embarrassed he'd ever be

- sparing in the camp dome if you're up for it, otherwise you'll be his teammate, always!

- if you're bold enough some of your misadventures will be like the meme "I've got your flower, babe, MURDER THAT FUCKER"

- please assure him he's still like his "old self" its making him question his own badass-ness

- I personally felt bad when he got teased about not being cool enough to find the wildfire, for once I'm encouraging you to verbally or physically kick Aaravi and Dahlias ass

- Still worried about lighting you on fire, if he thinks you're too close to the fire prepare to be picked up "FUCK YOU FIRE, THEY'RE MINE"

- Speaking of fire, the time around the campfire is very romantic, you can share stories and he'll burn his marshmallows trying to make the perfect smore

- sharing a blanket with the spicy red man on a cool forest night is 10/10 the best way to spend your time at camp
