I had a dream today that a new buxsnax update was added that upgraded the snakquatch and it got more powerful and it had more parts to it and it began chasing me down and I had to like run on a fours everywhere and it turned into a dog and began biting me 💀💀

After that there was a coming of chandlo and snorpy walking by and chandlo going "AS far as I'm concerned all trans men are men" but it was like cropped out a bit like the text was edited

Then there was some unreadable text and the last dialogue was a crossed out "trans guys get mad swag tail!"

And then there was a second coming of filbo and beffica walking past the same area but filbo got scared by a butterfly and there was like whole 4 panels of him screaming

You know what would make your young Journalist scenario funnier? If they weren't actually the Journalist. Somehow someone really messed up and sent the high school intern whose there for class credit on this expedition. This poor kid goes through the entire game thinking that if they don't get this interview with Lizbert then they're not going to get the credit and not graduate on time. Also imagine Floofty being appalled about this entire situation and takes time out of their day to make sure this kid doesn't fall behind on the rest of their studies by tutoring them and giving them advice on what to do after high school.

FDJDJIOJI THATS SUCH A GOOD IDEA- Filbo: You're the journalist! And they're just like- "Well journalist is a little bit of a stretch, I'm still an intern-" Not even two days later and they're like "Yeah you know what? Fuck it, I am the journalist."

I did have a whole idea that them and Floofty are super close. They have this sorta friendship with each other (Upon seeing them the first time it's "HOLY SHIT THATS A CHILD??? WHO PUT A CHILD HERE???" and they just sorta bond) and Floofty is willing to be less closed off for the sake of this kid. They're both nonbinary and autistic ofc they get along. The young journalist (still willingly goes by this label even though it's technically not a full job) has incredible concerns for Floofty though, eating that bugsnak felt horrible for more reasons than just being allergic. They still don't get how the others can stand to stomach them. So Floofty experimenting by eating a bunch of these things makes the kid feel all icky inside. They've had the odd nightmare or two related to it, but they don't really like to talk about it with the adults bc they don't want anyone else having anxiety over the biggest food source on this island.

They bunk with the other grumpuses for a majority of their stay because the hut is unfinished and nobody wants to make this 16 year old grumpus sleep in a house with no roof or proper bed. Its mostly with Wambus at the start but they get rotated around as more and more grumps return to the village. Floofty reluctantly had to put them to bed in their own area one night bc the journalist couldn't get back to village on time and passed out on the beach.

Bugsnax oc concept I'm 100% using: Journalist oc except they're like this 15-16 year old kid who was sorta working this news thing as their first job and somehow puppy-dog eyed their way into going to Snaktooth despite the backlash this could get when/if the kid comes back and makes it public.

Filbo: Wait. You're the famous journalist Lizbert invited? You're....young.

Journalist: I'm very talented :)

Wambus is ready to just be all angry at Filbo but this teenager is standing like two feet away like "You're a farmer? I came from a rural area too! That's cool haha." and he's all ohhhh this kid has not been affected by the island.

Even though they're not a little kid or anything, the entire village feels so much concern bc this kid is still two years from becoming a legal adult, they're nowhere near the age of anyone on Snaktooth. Everyone gains parental instinct suddenly bc this grumpus has no self preservation and almost cries when anyone raises their voice too loud.
