Have you gotten to the finale yet? The library scene gave me very intense CFAU Lexa feelings. Even the part with June on the beach and that vitriolic anger. I know Lexa tended to swallow a lot of her rage or leave before letting it explode on the family but the energy and desperation where still there I felt. And then the subsequent moments of vulnerability and weakness, her trembling lips and rolls of emotion. It all gave CFAU imagery when I had to think about it

when she screamed at june on the beach i was like "okay lexa GO OFF" lol. when she walked into the library barefoot??? the same way Lexa used to leave the apartment all the time??? WOOOOOF. and sorry sorry SORRY but the letters at the funeral????? LOLOLOLOL i was fineeeeeeee yeah no it was HEAVYYYY CFAU FEELS at all points

Ha! I knew you'd like it. Sad you won't write them here because of assholes and that I don't have your ig to see your thoughts, but I'm glad you gave it a shot. It really is by far her best work. I will always love Lexa and maybe, just maybe, she could've done more with that role if given the chance and even partially competent writers, but as it is this new role really is her best to date.

without a fucking doubt. took almost ten years for her to get a role she could properly sink her teeth into but lexa is finally not her best anymore. i *knew* she had better in her and boy did she fucking deliver.

but honestly............the fact that she had to go all the way back to australia to do her best work is A LITTLE funny. for almost ten years now ive said lexa is undoubtedly her career best but that she absolutely could do better. this just proved it. she *finally* topped lexa. by A TRILLION miles. it’s not even comparable. y’all are witnesses that ive been saying she has untapped potential for almost a decade and she finally proved me right. this is the performance ive been waiting for this entire time.

Hey I'm the anon that told you to pass on Saint X because I knew you really wouldn't like it. I'm here saying I think maybe you should give her other show a try. The show itself has got it's problems pace wise, but her performance in it is the strongest of her career I feel and I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on it and whether it gives you any CFAU feelings because it did me. Especially the finale of the show. If you don't care for it or don't want to that's ok but I thought you might like to give it a look, because where I confidently said pass on Saint X I'm saying I think this might be a project and performance you'd find some merit in

this is the amazon show right? its on my list. is she in all episodes or am i gonna have to put up with shit before she shows up? lol all three girls im seeing right now have covid and im in quarantine cuz one of them tested positive WHILE SITTING ON MY COUCH so im waiting to see and been humming around my house all day trying to figure out what to watch. ill give the pilot a shot and take it one episode at a time.

So what’s your opinion on the directors renewing their contract and not striking? Cause from an outside perspective who knows nothing about the industry, it doesn’t look good for them. At best they look like a bunch of cowards who didn’t want to rock the boat. At worst they’re a bunch of unsympathetic assholes who a riding high while everyone else is a few days away from a bread line. From my perspective they kind of looked pathetic when they didn’t join the strike. Especially with the actors joining in you know?

They're the butt of the joke for literally everyone in all unions and other workers right now. Even some of their own membership is pissed. That was cowardly bullshit 101. They "wanted to get back to work". Yeah...now you're not doing it and stuck with a truly ridiculous contract that doesn't even match inflation. They were led to the slaughter by bootlicking leadership and now they look like damn fucking fools. There's no "work" to get back to. We told them it would happen. We also told them that them taking their shitty ass deal would be used to hurt anyone else who went on strike and SURE ENOUGH that's exactly what fucking happened. This morning when Iger was running his bitch ass mouth and calling us "disturbing" and "unrealistic" he basically also said "look at the nice little obedient boys and girls of the DGA. They made a deal why can't the mean writers and actors do the same?". Now their deal is being used to undercut us. We fucking told them they were being traitors if they took that deal and they still did.

Their contract didn't expire until June 30th like SAG. They could've held off. They made a deal weeks before instead. Fuck them now. They deserve to be stuck with that turd of a deal for letting their clueless leadership bully them into ratifying that contract with zero real gains or meaningful AI protections. As someone who is probably only a year or so away from joining the DGA myself I'll say that I couldn't be more disgusted at everything they've done during this process. Pure betrayal of their fellow workers. And for what??? For nothing. To look like fucking idiots.
