I love how the pilot episode of 911 introduces it as this super serious firefighter drama and then after the intro you get hit by what the show is really like when a priest's phone goes off during confession and his ringtone is firework by katy perry

#and then they’re like boom this guy killed his whole family and is an alcoholic try to serve penance until he kills himself #and this guy hates himself so much he’s made up an entire fake persona just so his girlfriend will like him and then he proposes to her #and then gets into what very much should be a life threatening car accident #and then his girlfriend dumps him cuz she never really liked him anyways and who can blame her when none of it was real #and this woman’s ex girlfriend is in jail but she’s getting out and they start having a tortured affair #also her and her wife are raising that woman’s child. okay. #and this guy is like 25 years old with severe intimacy issues. don’t know what that’s about yet. #and this woman’s mom is rapidly being consumed by her alzheimer’s to the point where she often forgets and attacks her own daughter #and it’s a suffocating situation for them both #OH and how can i forget this woman and her gay husband are going through an awful divorce when their teenage daughter tries to kill herself #and this episode is titled full moon (spooky af) lol! #insane show. love it to pieces.
