I did contests with my shiny Latias recently and I just remembered that one odd npc that shows up in the audience that doesn't appear anywhere else in the game. I don't think it appears in Emerald, but it does show up in Ruby and Sapphire during the Master Rank contests.

There's no rip for it on Spriter's Resource nor is it mentioned on The Cutting Room Floor. Does anyone know what this sprite is?

Me thinks it might actually be Whitney due to how similar the hair is from the back (you can never see the sprite from the sides because the text box conveniently hides it during that time), and a look-alike sprite of her appears in the appeal rounds in the audience.

Another dream shiny via RNG manipulation~ my own unique shiny Spinda~

Took longer to get (roughly 13 minutes of waiting), but I'm surprised I actually managed it. I don't have a lot of options for quick shinies given my ID/SID combo, but I take what I can get.

I named him Cloverly because his pattern looks like a clover and because of my luck this week; I won something at my local store on Tuesday and now have 2 gen 3 shinies :'D

I accomplished a childhood dream today :'D a shiny Southern Island Latias~

I used RNG manipulation to get it; the struggle to even hit the god damn frame and catch it without a master ball was legit hard.

I don't care if it's stats are shit or what other people think of RNG manipulation, I love it anyways and I always wanted a shiny Latias of my own. Now I have it, and I can clone it too to save a copy in the past and present :D

Maybe I can reclaim that random shiny Groudon too...!

I know Dobson partly got caught for making inflation art and all. While I’ve never done that sort of thing (ew), it only heightened my fears of ever making webcomics or any material myself, even under a pen name. What good is it if my past of being stupid gets discovered?

Own it.

If it’s something kind of embarrassing that you did in the past, just admit it’s you. You might get a bit of teasing, but for the most part people will appreciate the honesty.

If it’s stuff you did in the past that you don’t necessarily agree with anymore, also own it. Just say it was something you used to do but have moved on from. Again, it’s better to just be honest about it rather than try and hide it or lie.

Obviously you don’t have to bring it up if no one else does, but all lying or pretending not to know about it will just make people think you’re hiding things or it’s something they can bring up to easily get a rise out of you.

Everyone has done stupid or embarrassing shit in the past. But it’s the past. There’s no reason it should control your present or future. People who enjoy your stuff won’t hold it against you, and anyone who does try and use it against you were never gonna be fans of your work anyway, and can therefore be ignored. Criticism is important, but it’s just as important to know who’s giving it and why.

Dobson’s problem was lying about easily proven facts and then doubling down hard or pitching a fit when someone brought it up to troll him.

It also helps to not be a Dobson and keep your ego in check, but the fact you’re asking for advice makes me confident you won’t have to worry about that much, Anon.
