i fully expect the ladynoir conflict to be resolved by the finale. if there’s one thing the show has been consistent about, it’s that the finale always, always brings us back to the ladynoir duo as the heart of the show. several things might go wrong and we might be left with other things unresolved, but not this.

what i really HOPE for this finale is that they’ll invert the established chat noir comforts ladybug pattern and ladybug will tell him “it’s you and me against the world”

Hello everyone. My name is Adrian, I’m a 21 yo gay trans guy and I need help.

For the past three months I’ve been DIYing a very low dose of T while attending college away from my parents. After I graduated and returned home, I also scheduled a top surgery consultation using my parents’ health insurance plan, because I (incorrectly) assumed that HIPAA would prevent me from being outed. This was not the case. Somehow my mother became aware of the appointment. My parents both cornered me and basically made me tell them I was transitioning.

Now my life is in complete shambles. They’ve given me an ultimatum: either stop HRT and my top surgery plans or I am estranged from the family.

I now have 5 days to pack all my belongings and leave here without a car. I have not signed a lease anywhere yet, I do not know what to do. I have been saving for peri since I was 17 and now it has to go towards my survival fund. I am devastated.

here's the thing about my writing: I'm lucky if I write one 1000 word one shot in a four month time span.

That, however does NOT mean I don't have an excessive amount of ideas that probably won't ever be finished or posted

MY EXACT THOUGHTS PUT INTO WORDS THANK YOU!!!

Part of why I love “post reveal, pre-relationship fics” the most, it just makes more sense.

They still have to get used to this obvious new type of relationship they have; a combined mixture of being classmates, friends, and work” partners (in a more-so dangerous field might I add), past “intimate” moments, crushes from either side but in a different way, and the realization that they know way more about each other then they thought (both as superheroes and regular teens).

Not only would that be awkward and different on its on because like op said, they are teens, but combining in their own personalities that can lean towards being more awkward, nervous, anxious, and shy, is only going to add to that.

That’s why I am really hoping that the writers go in that more “natural” route opposed to the Chat Blanc route where Adrien fell in love with Marinette right away (although he technically was in love with her this whole time and perhaps even had hidden feelings for her as Marinette that only came up when he connected the dots but still). But seeing as its clear the writers love a slow burn and there are three more definite seasons to go, I have a good feeling that they will make sure to have them wait a bit and figure everything out first opposed to jumping into an actual relationship right away :)

OK I LOVE ALL THE REVEAL FICS AND STUFF i LOVE them damn but why is it all the miraculous reveal theories end up w/ happy ‘IM SO GLAD BC NOW I CAN LOVE THE BOTH OF U SINCE UR THE SAME PERSON” idea bc like. all i see is a hell of a lot of awkwardness??. there would probably be no instant gratification of a romantic relationship between them following their reveal - it’ll probably be literally the most awkward thing. i want more of this. its delicious.

i mean they are TEENAGERS they’re gonna have anxious, nervous energy abt the whole thing. they’re so ANGSTY teens are so angsty theres gonna be so much confusion as they try to consolidate the identities of their crush into one person. u know. 

marinette stops gushing over adrien and alya is Super Confused and probably a little worried, but marinette never stops watching him. adrien keeps staring at marinette when she’s not looking probably even when she IS looking u know what he’s staring at her all the time. nino definitely notices somethings off but he cant get a word out of adrien about it.

all this uncomfortable space between their superhero identities and their civilian identities they probably rarely talk about anything other than the mission when they’ve got akumas to bust but they catch each other watching at school and its okay, somehow. like they’re getting used to it. 

she watches the way he walks and sees chat in the gait of his steps, the gestures he makes with his hands, understanding that his life as a model has bled into chat’s overdramatic flair. when she overhears him talking to nino in the halls, there’s chat in his laughter.

and he sees ladybug in the way marinette stands, the shift of her hips. the strength in her voice as she defends someone from chloe’s clutches. there’s ladybug in her eyes and her smile and in the sunlight on her hair. when she rolls her eyes and gives a snarky reply to something alya said, ladybug is in her voice.

and then one day when their eyes meet in the hall at school, they smile and its warm and sweet and unsure. awkward as hell. and adrien sees ladybug in marinette as she walks up to him and asks if he wants to get lunch tomorrow. alya is stunned into silence. nino chokes on a drink of his water. chat is in adrien’s lopsided grin and the twinkle in his eye when he accepts with smooth enthusiasm.

and they’re no longer two different people to each other, but a single entity.
