update on my sister reading the locked tomb

she is DEEP into htn, and i asked her to let me know once Harrow makes soup, and she got there

She also has some big theories she’s developing as she goes (which makes me super happy that she’s all in reading these), but they are SPOILERS so below the cut they go.

The one thing I had a helluva time keeping to myself was my CamPal obsession, but she got to them finally

Okay but also in Harrow the Ninth, before the Harrow Nova part, there's a part where Mercymorn is supervising her kill a planet and while she's fighting it in the River she uses her own tendons and (I think) veins as a whip to fight it with. I think I'm remembering this correctly please correct me if I'm wrong

Yeah no totally! Sorry I might have come off incoherent in my original post. I went to a con recently and there was litrually nothing Locked Tomb related anywhere and ig it just made me kinda sad? And irl I've got litrually no one to talk to about this series cause no one in my area has even HEARD of it.

My frustration lies in that I feel like it's one of those series that's super popular online but outside of that there nothing. That might be because I live in a tiny town in America but idk man. I desperately want to cosplay Gideon and be recognized or be able to buy prints at geneal fan events! Sue me!

Locked Tomb TV adaptation. Season 1 is most of book two until Gideon takes control of Harrows Body. Gideon is haunting the narrative but the audience doesn't catch on to that yet cause ITS BOOK TWO. Harrow has her rapid fire AUs but Gideons face nor her eyes are ever revealed. Final shot is of Harrow waking up with Gideons eyes BOOM end of season 1. (also the whole of season 1s music is understated and spacey) SEASON 2 starts with exactly like book 1. Shot of Gideon sharpening her sword. Shot of Gideons face but she's looking down (audience is like: OMG IS MYSTERY GIRL FROM LAST SEASON) Gideon looks up (Audience: THE EYES????) Pop punk lesbian sex music starts playing and that's the theme song from the rest of the season. Season 2 does all of book 1 PLUS the last 100 pages of book 2. When we make it back to where season 1 ended and Harrow looks up with Gideons eyes the theme song starts playing while Gideon fucks shit up.
