Life so far.

Hi everyone! Grace here.

My life has been incredible lately. I recently started 8th grade and it wasn’t as scary as i made it out to be. My teachers are so nice and I love seeing my friends everyday.

At my school, the 8th graders are in the high school. So the traditional 9th-12th doesn’t exist in my school! it’s 8th-12th. Is it crowded? Most definitely.

In my pinned post, I mentioned I did color guard. I like to think of color guard as if music was visual. This is my first year with the high school band. Yes, it can be stressful, but i love it nonetheless. My captains keep changing stuff in our routine and it can be quiet difficult to keep up.

Anyways, last week we had our first away game. It wasn’t THAT bad. Just..a little rough around the edges. And worst of all, my crush was there! I’ll talk about him more soon. So our first performance wasn’t totally in the gutter. Our field show theme this year is Rock N Roll. Our songs are Enter Sandman by Metallica, Crazy Train by Ozzy Osborne, and Dream On by Aerosmith. Right now, we haven’t even started working on Dream On!

This past saturday we had another away game. This game was against my crush’s school! He’s number #13 on the football team. I’m not sure what position he plays but he’s cute. Like unbearably cute! I’m gonna call him…Joe! I rather not reveal his real name.

My mom knows his parents and she says she’s ‘gonna work on getting us together’. In her mind, im already married to him. She’s just as delulu as me! Joe and I go to the same church. I don’t go to church that often but I have to start going again soon.

I had today off (Monday the 4th) because in America, it’s Labor Day. I don’t really know the whole reasoning behind Labor Day but whatever! Any day where I get to eat generic American food is a good day to me.

Friday is my school’s first home game! I’m so nervous to perform. But I know i’ll shake off all those jitters once I get out on that field. I’ll be just fine.

I have one pet, her name is luna and she is a bison frise/poodle mix! I love my crusty white dog!

I love New York City and dream of living there one day

I’m actually Canadian, but i reside in the United States

I prefer CDs over Vinyls

New York University is my ultimate dream school

ANDDDD, I’m a screenwriter, hoping to make it big
