It's been a while, huh?

I've been working on a bunch of different stuff since my least up date, mostly getting back into drawing comics. I used to draw comics a lot when I was younger, but haven't much lately.

I wanted to try re-drawing an old Hellboy comic with Mabel. Specifically mimicking Mike Mignola's use of heavy shadows.

A while ago you said you had a plan for Anne, did the ending to Amphibia change this?

Nah, if anything the finale of Amphibia basically being the final boss from Sonic Adventure 2 just confirmed I was on the right track.

I've been really busy with other projects lately, but once I have some free time, I'll definitely do something with Anne.

Is Lake still alive?

So I haven’t kept up with Infinity Train after the first season. I do know that every season follows a different protagonist as they go through the train, and I know a little about some of them. And I know that the mirror version of Tulip shows up in another season calling themselves Lake (And I think Lake is trans or something, so I’m gonna be safe and refer to them as Them) But I also think they died, but I’m not sure. 

I think it’d be interesting to use Lake somehow, but I want to know if they survive the series or not.

Okay, but I just kinda love the idea of Camilla finding this story online and just saying to herself, “Holy shit, this is happening to OTHER kids!?” 

And maybe, like showing it to Vee to see if she knows anything about it.

*Ding Ding* Another detail for Amphibia existing in the same multiverse as Owl House and Gravity Falls (albeit maybe not the same version of Earth as GF, which IS the same version of Earth Luz is from, if that makes sense?).

You know now I can only picture Mabel trying to blow off Mr. X thinking she has bigger fish to fry, only for him to show her what he's really capable of. Basically setting up the entire basis for their banter even when they become friendly

Yea, pretty much. This encounter is happening almost immediately after Mabel defeated a demon god of chaos, and then this random dude who says he works for the FBI tries to fight her. There's no way she's actually going to take him seriously before he starts catching her bullets and punching her harder than some demons she's fought.

Finally got these finished. I took me a while to get Mr. X’s tattoos down, and I’ll probably change them later on. This is mostly just to give me a blueprint to work from. 

And you’ll probably notice Jenny’s eye is very similar to Silco’s from League of Legends: Arcane. this is the scar that resulted from Mr. X trying to exorcise a demon from Jenny’s body. Fun fact: jenny could actually see into Limbo through her damaged eye. However, after Mabel and Dipper collapsed Limbo during their battle with Bill Cypher, Jenny is now blind in that eye. 

Mr. X’s tattoos are pretty simple. they’re arcane tattoos that allow him to preform magic without technically being a witch. And don’t take his intimidating stance in this to seriously, Mr. X is still going to be voguing and striking poses like a fucking JoJo’s character while fighting.

The Mr. X and Jenny is interesting and I look forward to seeing more. My biggest problem is now I'm waiting to see how X interacts with Mabel, you know those two are going to have some of the best banter. Are they going to go from enemies, to friendly enemies, to unlikely allies to odd friendship?

Basically, yea. Mr. X can't really be the main villain of a story because then we'd have Mabel cutting her way through FBI agents. So I'm thinking of having X and Mabel looking into the same weird demon shit as Devil May Cry's unofficial first mission.

And as things progress, they start realizing, (Or rather Mr. X realizes) They're on the same side.

And I absolutely can't wait to write Mabel and X's dialog together. It's gonna be so damn fun.

Yup. I’m putting these two into this story, because RuPaul as Mr. X is the best fucking thing Amphibia has ever done.

So I’ve already said I plan on using Andreas as a stand in for Urizen, that makes Mr. X and Jenny as the second and third Amphibia characters to be added to Gravity May Fall. But they aren’t replacing anyone in Devil May Cry. I’m going to do this later, but these two are going to be part of a post-DMC 2013 story. 

Mr. X still works for the FBI and Jenny is his assistant. and they are basically tasked with looking into the giant fucking crater in Limbo City after a building sized monster tore through the city. 

Basically, just like how they go after Anne and the Plantars, they go after Mabel and Wendy as they are trying to put Devil May Cry, the devil hunting business, together. 

And the reason they do this is because, where as in Amphibia Mr. X is obsessed with finding aliens, here he’s, of course, obsessed with finding demons. And because I’m using the DMC reboot as the starting point of this story, the world was dominated by demon for close to twenty years. And pretty much the only reason Mr. X survived long enough Bill Cypher be defeated while working for a government that is controlled by Bill, while actively trying to hunt down demons is because know other than Jenny believed him that demon even existed. 

And that’s because Jenny was possessed by a demon and Mr. X tried to exorcise it. He managed to get rid of the demon but is with left a pretty gnarly scar. (Which I will show later on) 

And you might notice Mr. X has some tattoos under his clothes, and that’s because he has Arcane tattoos covering his torso that allows him to use magic. So yes, I will at one point draw Mr. X fighting Mabel and he will not be a push over. 

I’ll be doing more of these two later on because I fucking love these characters and have so many fucking ideas for them.

Change of plans

So I wanted to do a story with Hunter’s introduction but I’m having a harder time than I thought finding the right angle for it. This isn’t helped with the latest season seemingly heading towards it’s end and all the revelations about Belos has me rethinking some of my plans. So, I’m gonna wait until the season is over before I get back to the Golden Guard story. 

There some other stories I’ve wanted to write and a few more character to introduce. Two I’m REALLY excited for.
