Yuzu plays a pivotal role in re-establishing teleportation between planet Earth and planet Basil. The Tuffle race escaped to Basil after the Saiyans took over their planet. The werewolves welcomed them with open arms, and they formed a strong front together. Many different alien races fled to Basil to seek refuge. Basil is 10x (or more) bigger than the Earth and is governed by two werewolf clans.

Just like Puck, Yuzu was born on Basil and went to Earth in collaboration with the Werewolves. Their colonies on Earth are all connected, and together they observe the planet and its inhabitants. Puck was the one who broke the first rule to not engage more than necessary. Yuzu soon followed Puck's example. This, however, didn't go without consequences for them both. Even so, Puck's father and grandmother stood firmly behind Puck's decision.

In the future timeline, Puck's parents died while fighting the androids, while the rest of the Werewolves and Tuffles left Earth because it wasn't their fight. Only Puck and Yuzu remain and assist the planet they came to love and call their home.

Yuzu is both a scientist and an engineer. Her high intelligence while being a Tuffle makes it possible for her to practise both jobs with ease. Her IQ is estimated well above the 200 mark but it’s impossible for Earthling standards to measure the IQ of the Tuffle race as they’ve transcended every other species within the galaxy with their intelligence. For a Tuffle, Yuzu’s intelligence is a little above average. 

Yuzu developed a technology that can withstand the destructive powers of extremely powerful races. For example, together with Bulma, Yuzu built a much stronger training room for Vegeta to practise in. It’s because of the collaboration between a Tuffle and a Saiyan it was made possible. Vegeta is, however, not aware of Yuzu’s origins. Only a select few are aware of her real origins.
