This is an experiment which I have been trying from past few weeks and I would like to share my experience (The transformation is still not complete) . So I am currently on a vegetarian diet. My daily food intake changes from week to week. . In week one, I have started with maintenance calories and slowly cutting it down week on week while reducing my carb intake. . Note - I have excluded milk and dairy products completely** but I am still consuming whey protein isolate to meet my protein needs. Its because I keep my protein intake high. (**I have seen some bloating issues while consuming dairy products, that's the reason I have stopped taking dairy) . I'm keeping my protein intake at around 1.2 to 1.5 g per pound of bodyweight. From my past experience my body starts breaking down muscle tissues if I go below 1 g per pound. Moreover body recomposition is better at higher protein intake atleast in my case. . I keep on changing my exercise routine every 3-4 weeks which is divided into different phases. . Now few things which I'm taking care of*** Vitamins and minerals intake (specially Vitamin D, Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium etc) Omega 3 Essential Amino Acids . ***Reason- As you eat a low calorie diet your overall food intake reduces. By this you get short of nutrients, remember this. .
