update on my first knit sweater wip!!!

I'm so sad :( it's been coming alone nicely with minor mistakes, but my current skein started out with uneven yarn lumps??? i feel like I was unlucky and didn't really know what to do about it besides continuing on. so now there are little lumps in my sweater :(((( help

plan for my next knit:)

i dont like how hats look on me, so i considered knitting a balaclava, but i think it'd make me look like a medieval thumb. hoping a bonnet will work as a nice compromise that will keep me warm. now onto finding a pattern or figuring out how to draft one myself!

Finally finished the beautiful Midnight Hare gloves by HattieKerrs on Ravelry! These are by far the most beautiful thing I’ve ever knit, they look like something out of a Jan Brett picture book. They’re going to my mom for Christmas, who will give them the love they deserve.

The brown yarn comes from an alpaca farm in my area as well! Can’t recommend the pattern enough, these were a joy to knit!

i'm new to knitting (started late september/early october) and i wanted to share these because im very proud of them! seen them referred to online as "tabi mittens". a slightly cursed, but very cool, warm mitten/glove fusion that gives more flexibility than mittens would. super happy with how these turned out! ended up freestyling the pattern based on mitten and glove patterns, and the thumb ended up starting a bit too high up, but thats ok.
