i'm new to knitting (started late september/early october) and i wanted to share these because im very proud of them! seen them referred to online as "tabi mittens". a slightly cursed, but very cool, warm mitten/glove fusion that gives more flexibility than mittens would. super happy with how these turned out! ended up freestyling the pattern based on mitten and glove patterns, and the thumb ended up starting a bit too high up, but thats ok.

‘True friends are always together in Spirit’ —Anne of Green Gables — L.M. Montgomery.

Here’s the color scheme I have for a new project (just have to pick the yarn up at Joann’s soon) but I can’t decide on what I should make. I’m thinking either a nice set of Bow Wrist Warmers or Colorblock Mittens (Patterns below) I’ll be adding the orange yarn (Called Carrot 🥕) into the pattern because it goes well with the other colors and works with the story (Anne’s hair was very orange to the point where Gilbert Blythe called her carrot, little knowing she was self conscious of that fact.)

The green yarn is called Tea Leaf, the Brown is Cafe, the Orange is called Carrot, the Yellow is Cornmeal, and the White Yarn is Aran Fleck.

WIP fingerless mitts

I am just happy with how the stripes are. My first bigger project with major color changing. (I made a small baggie like tiny its for my marbles from marble soda)

One done! I did a Corrugated Ribbing for the thumb hole... not fond of it.. its the cast off..

Happy with it all together though. Now rinse lather and repeat
