Do Pluton had a crush on someone while growing up ?

of course he had crushes. Most of them fleeting. One cute boy with a crooked smile in Summer whose parents owned the the local "diner" (Whatever the equivalent of a diner in prythian is), a sand fae who let him make treasure maps in the sand, hot pirate with ambitious eyes and scheming lips, the list goes on.

His crushes were many in numbers but rather short lived. Sometimes he goes after them, sometimes when the times were wrong he didn't. Some broke his heart, and sometimes he broke their hearts. Because Pluton isn't someone who settles down.

The only one who has his heart completely is the sea herself, since he gifted it to her willingly.

uhhh primarily Varian mostly because Amren isn’t good with gentle physical affection and Varian is the warmer option, but Pluton will go to Amren when it was a very bad dream mostly because the monsters in his dreams would be scared of her and therefore wouldn’t touch him

amren and varian have only pluton, but what would it be like if they had also a younger daughter? (I can smell the jealousy of the pluton part if someone approaches the little sister)

Hi sry for the long wait!

Well IF pluton had a younger sister, jealousy/protectiveness wouldn’t be what he would be feeling. like NO he would go “FOOL! you absolute FOOL!” and “Good luck with that” and “WHY??!!” also “You do know who her mother is right??” and “what is wrong with you?”

Personally  i don’t think Amren is much of the maternal type, and i also think she didn’t want to have children in the first place, but Pluton was an accident. Because Amren still didn’t ave a 100% grasp on her Fae body and so she did do a lot of slip ups, which worked in her favour before but only onced fucked her over. also i believe Amren would hate being pregnate and because of that won’t go through a second pregnancy. (Amren loves Puton more than herself and will hunt you and your family for sport if you hurt him)

but thats just my personal opinion! if You wanna give Amren and Varian more than one child or no children at all than go for it! i support you. it’s just fiction have fun with it!

Can you explain the Origin from the Pluton Name ?

Sure!

Pluton is mostly based of off Pluto the Roman Equivalient of Hades/ the Roman God of Riches Pluto (which are sometimes the same god)

Plouton, "giver of wealth," a title of hades

Ploutos (Πλοῦτος, Plutus), a god of wealth,

from Greek Plouton "god of wealth," from ploutos "wealth, riches,"

probably originally "overflowing," from PIE root *pleu- "to flow.

i have choosen the name because Amren likes Riches and Gems and Expensive stuff and also it means to flow/overflowing (”overflowing” with talent and riches would be a Amren thing to name her child) also flowing = Water and there i made the conection with Varian und his water powers.

How dos you come with The names for the Heirs ? Do they reflect in the Humor or have a meaning ?

i mostly find the names on babyname sites or wikipedia lists of gods/godesses/significant figures in mythology.

my choosing process is a little more intense than just picking a name i like. i consider canonical names -> their orgins. their meanings and their aesthetic. ex. Feysand: Feyre means beautiful and fairy and is like English/Welsh  // Rhys means ardor and is Welsh

but also other characters have a different name origin like caasian which is greek and means hollow, or Azriel which is Hebrew and means god is my help or Lucien is latin and means light. What i mean is that narrow my naming pool  by the orgins i can find for the specific “country”/the origins of the characters/ships.

than i look at the “themes” my ships has. like what is significant about the ship, what kind a meaning would they like in a name. ex.: Feysand = nightsky, stars, moons, darkness, beauty, peace, wings, art, colours, new beginnings, hope, hunting etc. you get the jist.

so Artemas:

a) possible of Persian origin from *arta, *art, *arte, all meaning "great, excellent, holy,"

b) ἀρτεμής, artemḗs, i.e. "safe", "unharmed", "uninjured"

c) Goddess of the hunt, forests and hills, the moon, and archery

reasons i choose the name: means “Excellent/holy” “Uninjured/Safe” (both fitting for the plot in my head /excellent/holy is a good feysand theme name meaning as a whole)

other reasons  “Goddess of the hunt, forests and hills, the moon, and archery” (very Feyre theme thing for a name)

also biggest reason... his nickname would be Art wich cute af also heavy Feyre connection because you know she makes/Likes art. (I’m hilarious lol XD)

Arianna: First of all very pretty name like Beautiful name why wouldn’t feysand name thier daughter like that huh

a) (Greek: Ἀριάδνη; Latin: Ariadna; "most holy", Cretan Greek αρι [ari] "most" and αδνος [adnos] "holy")

b) Welsh: arian “silver.

So reasons: see what i di there with Art and Ari >> “Most holy”  and  “silver” because you know you think more of silver when you talk about the moon and the stars than Gold so it fits. Also as a side note “Aria” means "air; song or melody" which is also big Feysand thing so check mate :P

Asteria: Also very Beautiful name, like stunning.

A) Ancient Greek: Ἀστερία, "of the stars, starry one"

b) Titan goddess of nocturnal oracles and falling stars.

reason: pretty self-explainetory right? also her nickname Asta means “divine strength” which is prtty fitting to Asta as a Character so....

so i hope that helps a little... i mean every heirs has a reason why i choose it for them, and i can explain why i choose. Also the biggest factor you might consider when you name oc children for ships is if the couple themself would choose that name if they actually had a canonical child together. but that is also very objective tbh.

yes, I have read Crescent City. Twice actually. love that book, can’t wait for the sequel!

yeah, i read about the theorie, it’s a good theorie, even tho i personally think that Amren isn’t one of the asteri for now, purely because we know next to nothing about the asteri and i don’t really like “believing” in theories that don’t hold that much canonical evidence. but also i am not against it!

I have a really silly hc about the vamren child . When the baby born, they have the wings and some of the power of Amren, also the silver eyes.

awwww, that’s a really cute hc, sweetie.

Pluton also has Amren’s eyes and some of her powers too. So your hc isn’t that silly, but very valid.

Which is kind of funny because Amren is like barely 5ft  (1.50m) and Pluton is like 6 ft  5 inches (1,98m) something. (i know next to nothing about american messuremants lol)
