Price Range: ₱100.00 to ₱1,000.00 Review: Being someone from the South, Tagaytay is just a bit of a quick drive for us. We usually eat at Mahogany Market, and I just noticed I haven’t shared anything about this precious place. For the cheapest, yet most delicious Bulalo in Tagaytay, Mahogany should be your go-to place. Not only that it serves hot and fresh Bulalo, the entire feel of eating there is in an entirely different level. Sobrang lakas maka #LiveLikeALocal. But seriously, besides perfect Bulalo, you should try other staples like Mushroom Chips, Sisig, Lechon Kawali and the crowd favorite, Tawilis. Whether you’re with your family, or friends, Mahogany is really a great spot to dine and bond. :)

Another Oh Hae Young |  또! 오해영 (2016)

Rating: 9/10

It’s not known as one of the “The Highest-rated Korean Dramas in Cable Television History” for nothing. Another Miss Oh or Another Oh Hae Young, also has a lot of nominations and wins from different Awards such as the Baeksang Arts Awards or the Korea’s Golden Globe Awards! I tell you, from Episode 1 up to 18, it’s full of twists! And I can’t see any plot holes here which got me so hooked! The production was nice and so is the details. I just wished that they’d extend it or have a spin off for Jin-sang and Soo-kyung because their story was so good as well. The overall story plot was good, albeit there are some parts that’s a bit boring. But hey, there’s no such thing as perfectly made K-Drama, right? But yes, it deserves all the praise and awards!

Tree Planting at EVO LIVING, Nuvali

I have tried all sorts of Outreach Program but it’s my first time to try Tree Planting! Heck, I thought it was easy peasy but it made me sweat.. a lot! But it’s worth it though. We planted 120 Fruit Bearing Trees for the beautiful birds of Sta. Rosa Laguna. The whole process involves a bit of strenuous work but hey, if it’s for the environment and the future kids, why not, right?

Rating: 10/10

Wow. Can I just say, that this is the best Korean Drama for me so far. Why? It’s careful done and well-researched. All the songs, smallest details, expressions used by the Characters are well executed. It will really bring you to the 80′s Era in Korea! In each episode, albeit long (90 mins! Bwah!) it will give you a good mix of sadness, laughter and everything in between. No shame, I cried every episode. It tackles Family, Friendship and achieving your dreams. The icing on the cake is when you get to guess who the Husband is, but they say if you watch the whole Answer Me Series, it’s a common thing and you can already guess who’s who. For me, it really has a perfect ending, though it has so many plot holes. To me it’s just perfect.

Location: Second Floor, Paseo Center, Paseo De Roxas Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City Other Branches: Market Market & Ortigas Store Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00AM to 9:00PM; Saturday 11:00AM to 8:00PM; Closed on Sundays Price Range: ₱108.00 to ₱998.00 Review: I always dreamed of dining in a Korean Resto! This is the start, bwah! My Sunbaenim (Senior at Work in Korean Terms, hah!) treated us for her Birthday Dinner. We ordered: Chicken Cheese Fondue which Kko Kko is known for, that has Melted Cheese in a Bread Bowl served with Fries, Homemade Onion Rings, Boneless Chicken Chunks. The cheese needs to be a bit more spiced though, but the texture was really nice and smooth. The Fries were okay, the rings are really homemade, and the chicken chunks are tasty! I think the sauce on the chicken compliments well on the cheese.

We also ordered “Rabokki” which consists of Korean Ramen, Tteokbokki (Rice Cakes), Odeng (Fish Cakes), Onions, Cabbage, topped with Cheese and Spicy Souped cooked on the Table. Truly a K-Drama experience, since I usually see characters eat Ramen in a huge pan. I already tried Odeng before and it’s tasty, but it’s the first time I tried Tteokbokki. It’s rice cakes though, nothing special. Hahaha! We upgraded to Rabokki Rice, since we have some left over soup. The soup, plus cooked Kimchi, Rice, Egg and Seasoned Seaweed mixed all together. Again, like K-Drama style, we dug in!

They serve huge servings which is great for serving. Go have a group date here! :)

Oh my Ghostess | 오 나의 귀신님 (2015)

Rating: 6/10

Since I am not a fan of supernatural or entirely fictional K-Dramas, I’d give this a 6/10. I was just intrigued on Jung-suk which is why I watched this and to my surprise the Lead Female was Bo-young! The story is unusual and different indeed-- it gave me a few chills, but I feel that there’s something missing. I am not quite sure. Tehee. But yes, it’s funny and scary at the same time. It’s okay. :)

If only it doesn’t cost a fortune I might use these on a daily basis but I kid you not, they’re hella expensive! Though it hugs my skin perfectly and doesn’t costs any breakouts so yes, I am okay with these babies.

Location: Second Floor, Alphaland Southgate Mall, EDSA Corner Pasong Tamo Extension, Magallanes, Makati City Other Branches: Ermita Store Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00AM-9:00PM; Not sure on their weekend schedules; since some restos in Alphaland tend to close or have limited schedule on weekends :P Price Range: ₱40.00 to ₱280.00 Review: They recently opened near our office so we decided to try them while they’re still on soft opening. The place is cozy, and spacious. The servings were hefty and the service was fast. Though the staff needs more training though, with the way they speak towards customers and they should develop a better queuing process. Nonetheless, the food was terrific. I really likes Katsudons and I must say, their take on this Japanese Dish was really good. The Rames were okay, and is good for sharing. The Sushis, Makis and more are really an entirely different thing: IT’S FRESH. It’s lit? Hahaha. It’s really good that they serve it fresh. Kudos to the Sushi Chef. Will we try again? Yes! :)

Finished watching Answer Me 1988! Definitely my favorite K-Drama to date.

American Horror Story is also back! I now have something to look forward to every week.

I am now on my Facebook Break again! I now have more time to focus on this blog (weh), finding freelance work and more~

I’ve been losing friends but it’s okay! If you’re in the same situation, let me tell you this: It’s okay to lose friends. If you don’t feel like talking to them anymore, or you feel that they’re toxic, don’t be afraid to let people go. You already have your troubles on your own. A friend should know when to listen, and understands when to give you space. If they don’t understand those things and they call you an overly dramatic person, that is your sign! *wink*

Our office is switching things up and they decided to have a pink wall (first, for now)! I love it! (obvs)

Suspicious Partner | 수상한 파트너 (2017)

Rating: 9/10

Ahhhhh, let me start of by saying I love Ji Chang-wook! He’s so charming. My heart is melting. TT__TT It’s sad that we won’t be able to see him for two years though-- since he started his Military Service a few weeks ago. Anyway, this is a 40 episode series, but with only 30 minute episodes so for me it’s like 20 episodes-- like your typical series. Each episode is really good, I also like how smart the Protagonists are, and how they struggle to separate work from personal feelings. Some episodes makes my heart beat faster, whilst some made me cry! But of course, there are beautiful and funny episodes too. To me it gives a good mixture of emotions, and it is realistic in some ways. :) Really good!

Pares Retiro

Location: 280 P. Tuazon Blvd, Cubao, Quezon City, 1109 Metro Manila Other Branches: Tomas Morato Store Hours: 24/7! Price Range: ₱30.00 to ₱199.00  Review: I am definitely a Pares Lover. It’s one of the simplest, cheapest yet best comfort food ever. That’s why I always get excited whenever I hear that there’s a good Pares Place or anything like that. My Boss claims that this is the best Pares he has ever tried, which is why when we recently had the chance, we decided to try it! It tried the Pares with Siomai and Rice and we also shared a big bowl of Beef Mami. First of, the soup was sooooo good. The Pares has this hints of Butter/Cheese which makes it savory and full of flavor. The price was a bit pricey though, but considering that it’s open 24/7, what the heck. This is a perfect post meal on your next drinking session in Cubao. But be warned though, this place is open which makes the whole area a bit humid. :)

Ang Bandang Shirley's Favorite Album Launch 20th Weeksary Party

It’s been 20 weeks since the Favorite Album Launch which I have missed due to funny reasons, but hey, I am glad I finally went to the 20th Weeksary Party. It was a really chill afternoon as ABS sang some songs from their Favorite Album as well as my old favorite DNB (Di Na Babalik), it was also announced that they already had a thousand albums sold. What a milestone, I know. *wink*

But what made us teary eyed was when we heard Selena’s voice as she greets everyone in the room TTT___TTT

Will never get tired seeing this band live, ever. I hope someone proposes to me at one of their gigs, LOL.
