Annabeth's stalking in ep2 is not great, to say the least.

I get that it seems cute to some of you, Annabeth being all driven and ambitious and figuring out that a water god is Percy's father, but like. Stalking is not cool. It's an invasion of privacy. It makes the person feel unsafe. It's unsettling. Even Percy acknowledges this - he straight up asks Luke to make her stop.

And to all of you who continue to romantize it and downplay how serious it is, I want to remind you that in SoM Annabeth used her invisibility cap to peep at Percy while he's changing his clothes in the assumed privacy and safety of his bedroom. (if you don't believe me I can pull book quotes). Yeah, that's how bad it gets.

Hey everyone! I’m excited to announce that the Odyssey of Percy server is doing a Pride Month event!

The event will last all the way through June as we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. As most of us know, the pride flag’s colors each represent and reflect the diversity of our community, as well as the spectrum of sexuality and gender.

Each week we’ll have 2 writing prompts (artists please see note at the end) that coordinate with the colors of the pride flag.

Week 1 (June 1-10) - Sex and Life

Week 2 (June 11-17) - Healing and Sunlight

Week 3 (June 18-24) - Nature and Art

Week 4 (June 25-30) - Harmony and Spirit

The prompts are obviously pretty open ended, so it’s completely up for your interpretation!

Rules:

1. These should be Percy-centric crack ships, as our server is chock full of crack!

2. These are meant to be stress-free! Write a minimum of 100 words a week! Combine weekly prompts if you want! Write a million words! Whatever you’re vibing with, as long as you hit that 100 word minimum!

3. Have fun! Fandom is meant to be fun! Enjoy yourself! Leave kudos and comments on people’s work! Celebrate queer joy!

I know it can be considered 'cringey' when used to much or whatever but I really do think the pjo show would have benefited massively from a running narration. apart from the fact I just think its dumb when a movie or show starts with narration in the begining and then it doesn't continue, like....percy is canonically a quiet character. 90% of his charm is because we're in his head. even IF the show was a page-by-page faithful adaptation of the events in the book, we'd still be missing a lot of the humor. in the books, canonically we're reading what happened because percy sat down with someone and he's telling them while they're writing it down for him. that would've been such an easy device to justify why the show needed percy narrating throughout the series like. come on.

Sally adores Jason. She took one look at him and recognised herself in his eyes.

Because she also gave up everything at a young age for the adults in her life.

Jason's very mild mannered and polite, offering to do the dishes and any chores the moment he steps through the door. But Sally declines everytime and hands him a cupcake.

Percy waves him over and Jason gets tangled in whatever chaos is going on in the living room.

She can practically see the ideal soilder melt away and in its place is just a boy laughing at his friends antics.

Sally keeps her distance, gives them space and because she knows Jason will revert back to peak professionalism.

But he's getting there, slowly but surely he's learning to relax here.

And that's all Sally could ask of him, of them all.
