Maybe some fluffy Kurloz x Reader Headcanons? 👉👈

It's been so long since I've played openbound. This was a fun refresher. I hope you enjoy!

Kurloz x Reader Headcanons

-I will start with the non-fluffy stuff. Kurloz is a purpleblood who grew up with the clown church. He’s a strange troll with morbid tendencies. If we’re talking post accident Kurloz, then he doesn’t really communicate with people either.

-This can be seen in his relationship with you. For the first couple of months he’ll feel rather distant, never quite contributing much into the relationship. Every question you ask him turns into a crazy riddle. If the two of you were able to make it through that awkward patch, you’ll see him become more open. 

-Now onto the fluff! 

-Kurloz would ask if you were up to learn sign language. It’s the easiest way for him to talk without using his chucklevoodoos. Though, being honest, he’s not against using them when he wants to.

-He’d give you all the lessons of troll sign language you could ask for. He’s a very hands on teacher. He’d drag his gloved hands against yours to set them in the right position. If you're a human/non troll, he’d love to know how your version of sign language differs. He enjoys repeatedly signing the word ‘Fun’ at you. No one’s quite sure what it means.

-Kurloz would partake in pda. He feels no shame in leaning against your body or kissing you with stitched lips in front of the others. He would enjoy laying with you while watching the dream clouds float by. If he’s relaxed, or stoned, enough, he’d take a nap right there.

-On the topic, when he’s high he’s a lot more cuddly and playful. He’ll lay on top of you with a lazy, mildly sinister, smile all while signing dumb memes. He’s pretty malleable at the same time. You wanna go do something? He’s all for it. You wanna cuddle in a different position? Just move him any way you like.

-Kurloz would also come up with a strange nickname for you. It’ll be possibly crude and unusual. It’s an even mix up on if he’s going to call you by your actual name or something he created from the deep depths of his thinkpan. 

-I don’t think he’d introduce you to Gamzee. He’d like to keep his personal life away from his servitude.

-He has a habit of pressing the tips of his fingers onto his lips before pressing them into your own. There isn’t much of a reason as to why he does this. It’s more of something he just enjoys doing.

I have a request!! Either playing a horror game with Sollux or going to a haunted house with eridan/exploring an abandoned haunted house!! Thank u :D

We've come full circle, I'm answering a now 3 year old request during the Halloween season. Oh well, enjoy!

Going to a huanted house with Eridan!

-It’s going to take a lot of convincing to get Eridan into a haunted house. He claims “It’s not because I’m scared! They’re just a wwaste of my time!”

-Why would anyone find joy in getting yelled at in a dark room, Eridan wonders. Though he’s not accustomed to Earth holidays, he’s sure there are other events worth his while.

-He’d totally be into something corny like wearing matching scarves or watching some terrible movie.

-Eridan, however, is not immune to bribes. Promises of kisses, a new book, and you cleaning his house will get him to a haunt.

-The look of absolute shock once he sees how much a ticket costs. “40 dollars? Each!? I could go see Sollux and get just as scared for free!” Though he would take it as a chance to flex his wealth. Probably whips out a hundred dollar bill and tells them to keep the change.

-Once inside the haunt you would notice him fiddling with his rings, a nervous habit. The feeling of your hand around his would make his face flush a wonderful violet.

-If you got scared, he’d laugh at you. Prepare for many teasing remarks. Though if you tease him back he’ll get all pouty.

-He’s the type to swing at an actor when he gets scared which gets him promptly kicked out. Eridan will be sitting at the haunt’s security stand waiting for you to finish the attraction.

-Your original bribe will have to be doubled to make it up to him.

Cloud Anon, I don't know if you're still out there but this is for you. I got a little carried away with this. What can I say, Caliborn's fun to write.

This is apart of the Caliborn redemption AU I had going on I guess. Enjoy!

Caliborn x Reader Hcs!

The two of you met when he had messaged you. Calling you and your friends crude names and drawing “lewd” pictures. Unlike your friends, you decided to humor this “undyingUmbrage.”

Through many stubborn chat logs, you’ve learned that his name is Caliborn and that he’s pretty insufferable. Somehow, you looked past his unsavory behaviors and continued to chat with him. 

Caliborn’s messages started as mean spirited and almost cruel. After some time of chatting and playing the game, it almost seemed like he started to mellow out.

Fast forwarding through sburb shenanigans, you’ve ascended to god tier. The final fight is drawing near. Caliborn had stopped pestering you a bit ago. He claims that there’s something he must finish. You’ve collected your belongings and prepared to fight.

Suddenly, a light flashes behind you. Red gears click together as a figure begins to form. A grating voice laughs. “Finally, the Lord makes his appearance!” 

Caliborn joined you in fighting, though he claimed it was purely for his enjoyment. Once the game has been won and Earth C has been created, everyone begins to find their place.  

On Earth C, everyone had each other, living arrangements were made easy. Though, with everything Caliborn had done, he had nowhere to go. Against your mind’s logical side and your friends’ warnings, you decided to let Caliborn stay with you.

In the beginning, he was terrible to live with. He couldn’t keep a job, he never cleaned up after himself, and he was incredibly rude.

He seemed to walk all over you with pride. Though one night, you couldn’t take it anymore. Never in the years of knowing the cherub did you ever express anger towards him. To hear you yell at him and be angry, something changed in Caliborn.

Waking up the next morning, your house had been cleaned up. It wasn’t perfectly tidy but it looked like you were the only one to live there. Upon asking Caliborn about it, he brushed you off.

“As if I’d do anything for your pleasure. You can pleasure yourself for all I care. Why are you laughing?! No! Not like that! It was a figurative speech!” 

After that, he never really seemed to leave you alone. When going out, he’d always walk next to you. He takes any seat available near you. He’s even started eating meals with you. 

One day, you were hanging out with Dirk and he had a few questions.

“So, when’s Caliborn taking you out on a date?”

“Why would we go on a date?”

“Are you two not dating?”

From that day, you’ve begun to look at Caliborn's actions differently. Before you had the chance to ask about his behavior, he had barged into your room. Not saying a word, he threw a bundle of crumpled flowers and a crudely drawn card at you, followed by him slamming the door shut. 

Seems like you’ll have to be the one to take him on a date.

And now a few Redrom headcanons:

Caliborn claims to hate affection. However, you don’t miss the times when he sits so close that your thighs touch. He also has an affinity for climbing into your bed late at night. Don’t question him about it though, he will get snappy.

He’s pretty short as a cherub, coming up to under your shoulders. He does like being carried around, though only in the privacy of your own home. That’s a bit too risque for his tastes.

He finds the concept of kissing weird and gross. In place he’ll bonk his head into your body. 

Hair is something that intrigues Caliborn. If you let him, he’ll mess with yours for hours. Though he is quite heavy handed.

Caliborn is prone to jealousy. Old habits die hard, he’s not above threatening peoples’ lives. But he's kinda working on it.

If you wish to hold him, introduce it slowly. Most affectionate gestures are completely lost on him.

Kanaya is absolutely making you guys costumes, it does come with the catch of being her personal model until Halloween

Kanaya, if you have sewing skills, would be delighted if you helped her make costumes

She is going to be quite busy with making your matching costumes, Terezi’s dragon costume, and Karkat and Dave’s 100% ironic matching outfits

Please do remember to pull her away and take a nice break. Watch Halloween Town or something

Now Kanaya is not big on trick or treating nor handing out candy, though with enough bribery and sucking up you could get her to go to a couple of houses with you.

Eventually many of your other friends show up and a couple of houses turn to several. Kanaya is tired and wants to go home

Helping each other change and taking off any make up you might be wearing. Very cute and domestic

And to end the night, watching Halloween themed movies in the silk pajamas Kanaya has made for the two of you

Hi! Could I request the Strilondes (or just the Striders if you don't do that many) and their s/o carving pumpkins, but this chaotic reader decides to carve their pumpkin with a sword, but despite being good at using a sword, they were unable to carve the pumpkin and got really sad. Sorry if it's too specific, this just happened with my brother and I the other day, and now I have a cut on my right palm 😅

Rose is the queen of chaos. Lets do this darling

Of course you two had to pick the finest pumpkins on the market. And by market I mean sburb hijinks

She shall join in on the shenanigans by trying to carve her pumpkin with a spell

You had been equipped with your swords and Rose had her wands

Oh dear that went bad quite fast

Rose’s spell had blown her pumpkin to smithereens causing pumpkin guts to hit you in the eyes which made you slice through your pumpkin and the table

Well you know Rose saw this coming she just wanted to see it play out

She will gently clean you off and make the both of you nice cups of hot chocolate

🍸Roxy🍸

Roxy wants a cat pumpkin please try to make her one 

Using her void powers Roxy will make you a nice big pumpkin with lots of space to carve 

Just know if you make a mess you’ll be cleaning it up

But other than that Roxy is all for this! She is off to the side chanting ‘Carve that pumpkin!”

But things did not go quite as well. Mutie had decided to climb onto your pumpkin to take a nap halting your movements.

Welp can’t wake up the kitty so pumpkin carving is postponed

👻 But turns out John had nothing to worry about when he saw you descend onto his roof from your gate

👻 After a very loving reunion, the two of you have a super sweet alchemy session

👻 You guys whip up some very interesting weapons, clothes, and other miscellaneous goods.

👻 You also make the “cushioned protective clothing for accident prone dummies”...huh.. mean name but you’ll take it.

⛎ It was anime/gaming shop. It was quite small yet busy enough for Caliborn to make a decent amount of money. Dirk frequents the place to check in on Caliborn and because he gets a probably legal I tolerate you discount

⛎ The two of you have sacred movie night that not even Dirk is invited to. It is specifically for you guys and he gets grumpy if its crashed. His tastes in movies is awful but it makes him happy so you enjoy it too
