Could you write some sleepover headcanons for the beta kids(homestuck) please?

I kinda based these off of me and my friends, so I hope its not too out of character!!

JOHN

Obviously in charge of the movies (much to everyones dismay).

He occasionally brings snacks too. (Snacks meaning full sized cakes that his father made.)

He is the one who usually stays quiet when discussing sleeping positions. He doesn't argue, or make it sexual when sleeping next to someone. He may make it awkward, but not sexual at all.

He'd wake up at the same time as rose would, so before anyone else.

ROSE

Her house is usually where they go for sleepovers, but if her mom is having an exceptionally rough night she'll make an excuse.

She has Kanaya make the pajamas, because everyone agreed it would be nice to have matching pajamas when they have sleep overs.

If there is an extra mattress, she'll insist she take it. She enjoys sleeping on separate beds, because she takes over the entire bed.

As stated with John, she and him wake up first. She usually goes to make food for everyone while John stays and wishes the two left good morning when they wake up.

JADE

She is usually the one who asked everyone if they wanna hang out. And she helps keep conversations going while John starts them.

She sleeps wildly, but doesnt know it. She can and will sleep on top of someone. (She also enjoys cuddling with whoever is nearest to her) ((in a non-romantic way of course)

She also brings stuff so they can have some activities to do. (Like beads, yarn, coloring books, and so on)

She wakes up last, and sleeps like a log. So once she's out she's out

DAVE

He's the one who gets the nitty gritty information. Like when they should arrive, when they'll leave, what they'll be doing, and all that jazz

He sleeps like a log. Not like he sleeps deeply, no, he sleeps without moving. He's scared everyone because of how still he is when sleeping.

He's the one with stories to tell when everyone wakes up, because his dreams can be fucking WILD.

He is pretty easy to wake up, so he wakes up at the sound and smell of Rose cooking.

not a great big deal (maybe a bit of a lot)

but on contrary, I don't think he'd be someone to be very beat around the bush with those sorta feelings

at least physically? like, body language wise-

he'd be the type of person for you too fall asleep on his shoulder, and he'd let you 100%, maybe even lay his head on yours in return

I think hed be someone who's a bit easy to read if you can do eye contact

like I'd pitcure if one were to flirt with him, it'd go over his head a bit at first, not that he wouldn't ever get it

he would get it like, 5 minutes afterwards and then he can't bring it back up it cause 5 minutes has passed and oh god that was so obvious how did he not get that—

but back with the eye contact thing, I'd be easy to pick up on

easy to spot a mischievous or playful glint in his eye, it'd usally be paired with a grin

he'd be one too steal longing looks at you when your not paying attention

just letting internal monolog play out in his brain as he stares at you doing whatever

subconsciously messing with his fingers or the hem of his shirt

he'd pretend he's not looking when you look back at him, and or that he's wasnt just thinking of the most "silliest" of thoughts

he'd be good at hugs

or good at giving hugs?

good and secure, rests his head on your shoulder, his arms under yours too hug around your waist simply cause he wants you as close as possible

(he's totally not sniffing you)

even though I think he would be a bit- dense?- wrong word

stubborn- but not nessasarly in the way you think, he's set in certain ways, varying things stuck with him throughout sburb events (obviously‐)

but he'd still be a lil goober at heart yknow

not too much prying for it to takes to make him be a goober comfortably in your presence

like in the other post- his goofy energy is just gonna go right too you

just something about him makes one just- exist in the moment, although he mostly exists up in his head-

-i think he'd focus mostly on whoevers in front of him, their voice, what they're saying

amplified if he likes you, he's listening so intently

maybe a little too intently where he gets caught up in his thoughts, it's starts off of what he wants to say to respond,

focusing in on your voice and his mind trails off with how nice you sound, taking in the fact that your voice belongs too you

no one else, he's listening to no one else but you right now,

you'd be mid sentence and notice how hard he's staring at you, hell you could've been done with the sentence a minute ago and he'd still be up in his brain

asking what is wrong and he'd only respond with blinking his eyes at you, focusing in on your face rather your voice finding himself caught red handed

"uh- sorry— I was spacing out-"

spacing out my ass, he's thinking about how he wants to be closer, hear your voice at its most hushed

wanting to rest his head on your chest, listening to the sound of your breathing, the steady thump of your heart beneath his head

whenever he hugs you he wants it to be extra long, burying his head in the crook of your neck like he hasn't seen you in forever

he wants you, to hear you, he want you too want him like he wants you

👓 John Egbert x Reader 🌪

From the first day of your acquaintance, you and John were able to find a common language. You were very empathetic in communication and quickly found a way to get along with John. He genuinely liked to communicate with you and he even came to visit you several times. These days have brought you closer together and allowed John to get to know you much better

John knew that you were always ready to listen to him if he needed it. You listened to him when he told you about his father and his worries, but only a few months later you showed him the emotions that you were hiding. You were much more sensitive than you seemed at first glance, and for the first time since you met John, he became the one who listened to your problems and not the other way around

When you started dating, you continued to keep a lot to yourself. You didn't want to burden such a bright person as John with your problems, so he took them on himself. He claimed that it was not a problem for him, smiling broadly and inwardly rejoicing that he could at least help you a little and make your life easier

John knew that you were a good, sincere person who was dear to him. He wanted you to feel better, realizing how much you took on yourself and that you also needed a person who was willing to listen to you and help you find a way out for your emotions

🕶 Dave Strider x Reader 💿

Your communication with Dave started thanks to Rose. It was she who introduced you and at first you both felt some awkwardness. Dave didn't know how to approach communication with you and you were bad at starting a conversation, but after several attempts you were able to get rid of the awkwardness and communicated openly, as far as possible for the two of you, who hid many emotions from others

You often shared with Dave what you planned to do in the coming day and quite often the next day you forgot about it. After a long time of your communication, Dave learned to notice when you could say something else, but remained silent. You didn't voice many things and often hid your emotions from others, but Dave was able to learn to find out what was really on your mind. You told him about what was bothering you and he always listened to you, giving you the opportunity to at least speak out if he could not help you in any way

When Dave started noticing that your emotional state began to deteriorate, he realized what was the reason for this. You've taken on too much. Because of this, your emotional resources were quickly running out. You always tried to help your friends, but you tried to keep your distance even with him, which is why Dave had to convince you that you didn't need to take everything on yourself and he was always ready to offer you his help

Dave knew he had few opportunities to help you, at least while you were communicating from a distance. But Dave hoped that soon you will be able to communicate in person, because then he will have more opportunities to really help you

♋️ Karkat Vantas x Reader ❤️

Your communication with Karkat didn't start quite smoothly. At first, you just talked, but when you became friends, he began to notice that sometimes you behaved like you were arrogant. This quickly exasperated him, but after a while he realized that you were sincerely trying to help and you had no intention of appearing arrogant. Karkat was surprised, but after a few minutes of reflection, he realized that perhaps he really did not quite understand your words correctly

Karkat often scolded you for often doing the work for others. You took a lot on yourself and kept others at a distance that others didn't notice, but not Karkat. He saw perfectly well that it was as if you had built a wall between yourself and others, and he was not going to let you continue to do so, seeing that the way you usually lived did not help you much

Karkat became the only one in front of whom you showed those emotions that you hid from others. Usually you were the one who listened to other people's problems, but Karkat took on some of your problems. He listened to you, supported you and helped you with advice when he knew exactly how to help you. He gave you that emotional return that you needed so much

Karkat intended to help you become more open to others. He knew that if you constantly rely only on yourself, you will only make yourself worse, and that's what he tried to convey to you, hoping that you will feel better at least a little

♊️ Sollux Captor x Reader 🐝

Sollux knew you as an extremely sensitive, sometimes hot-tempered person who was always ready to listen and help. That's how the others knew you, but Sollux, who knew you better than everyone else, knew that this was not all. You were the person who hid many of your thoughts from others and built a wall from others, not wanting to burden them with your problems

Even when you started dating, you didn't immediately open up to him. You didn't want to put your problems on his shoulders, but when you were able to open up to him, he saw another side of you. You gave yourself completely in your relationship and Sollux tried to make sure that you didn't regret it

Sollux saw how much you took on yourself and how often your confidence in your own rightness prevailed over a sound perception of the world. In this you were even similar. You were both responsible and preferred to stay away, but it was because of your similarity that he understood what you were experiencing and how hard it could be for you

You both tried to help each other feel better. Knowing what difficulties you could have, you tried to be close to each other and make it easier for both of you. You did a lot for each other, but neither you nor Sollux regretted it

Movies, of course.

But if you are already bored with such a pastime, you can play some stupid games, such as hide-and-seek. Or chess or video games. Anything, because he's not too picky.

But also, John may well refuse some too silly things, "it's childish." But if you persuade him, you two can have fun in his yard, swinging on a swing for example.

If you are friends and you ask to go to bed with him, he is unlikely to agree without a good reason. It's very strange for him!

But it will be long awkward for him to lie in bed with you, even if you both more than friends.

But you'll probably watch movies until morning and fall asleep on the couch together while movie marathon.

Sollux Captor:

I think you're more likely to watch videos or play browser-based video games.

But you can take him outside and you'll wander around until dark. It might be fun. Sollux is quite closed person and therefore you can discuss more things in person.

But he's not too active. For example it will be almost impossible to force him to play catch-up. Besides, for him it's something on the verge of stupid.

But in any case, he's like a lazy hug pillow.

Of course, he will be suspicious of the request to sleep next to him if you not a couple. But relatively loyal. He just doesn't really care about it, he already wants to sleep.

* I feel like he would absolutely love holding your hand, just small PDA makes him really happy, he loves always knowing that you’re by his side.

* Have a weird mannerism or a signature way of typing? He’s going to subconsciously pick it up! Whether it be a strange way you pronounce something, something you say a lot, or just some mannerism in general he will definitely start mimicking it without realizing! At first he realizes that he’s doing it and tries to stop but if you encourage him he will definitely stop worrying about it.

* Absolutely LOVES movie dates- I mean- it’s kinda obvious that he does! If you don’t like going out then you both can snuggle up on the couch eating popcorn and other sweets with a blanket covering the both of you, he’d probably have a hand over your shoulder if you guys did that. If you guys did go out though he would do that stereotypical holding hands in the movie theater thingy.

* I saw someone say in another John x Reader something along the lines of “jokes are like another love language to him” and YES!! He absolutely LOVES JOKES!!! He will make shitty jokes to you and be super clumsy while flirting and probably make a fool of himself but you laughing WILL make it worth it!! He probably does the “does it hurt when you fell from heaven” pickup line atleast once a day and half of the days he accidentally falls while trying to lean on a wall, and after he does he probably tries to recover by saying “well shoot- guess I’ve fallen for you” like he’s so endearing and silly and I love him omg :D

* He probably compares you and him to movie couples, and tries to reenact some romantic movie scenes sometimes because that’s like- his way of showing affection or something.

“So you’ve never been kissed like a girl before?” You asked. Sitting next to you on the sofa June flushed up to her ears. She had just started to grow her hair out now, the dark strands only brushing the tops of her shoulders. Now she was twisting the strands around her fingers nervously. 

“Is… Is there a difference?” She asked with wide blue eyes looking at you. 

No.

“Absolutely.”

You were a filthy liar. 

“Really?”

“Yes!” You assured her knowing you were lying through your teeth. You’d been friends with June since you were both children and you’d had a crush on her for almost as long. When she’d begun her transition you had made it your mission in life to be her number one supporter. It didn’t change your feelings for her. Actually you were pretty sure it only made them worse. Watching her experience things for the first time; makeup, cute clothes, stuffed animals, heels, and finding her name. It felt special. Sacred. Like she was sharing this with you because you were important to her. You’d fallen so ridiculously harder Karkat had actually laughed at you once. Now you were playing dirty. But you had Karkat to blame for it. He’d told you if you liked June so much you should just kiss her. So this whole thing was his fault. Now here you were ready to do whatever it took to get that kiss. Poor June had no idea. 

“What’s it like?” She asked and you seized the chance immediately.

“Want me to show you?” You asked, placing a hand on her thigh as you leaned forward. June turned an even darker shade of red as she stared at you completely speechless. Oh, you were going to hell. Paving the way with the trick you were pulling on your innocent friend. Unfortunately you couldn’t find it in yourself to care. She had lip gloss on, its wet surface catching the light and tempting you further. According to June it tasted like strawberries. You’d never had a craving for strawberries so bad until she told you that. When she bit her lip nervously- you loved those dorky bunny teeth, not even braces had been able to get rid of them- you nearly snapped. But you’d been testing the waters for this for months. You could be patient. You had to be. 

So you waited. 

“I- um. Oh wow.” She giggled nervously, laugh turning into a snort, “That’s a funny one!”

“I’m not joking.” You replied, her laughter cut off abruptly, “Do you want me to show you?”

“Oh.” She froze eyes darting between your steady gaze and your lips. You had to fight the urge to smile. 

“Well?”

“Do you… Do you want to?”

“Yes.”

You replied perhaps a tad too eagerly but it was true. You’d been wanting to kiss her since you were both knobby kneed tweens. Her eyes kept flickering over your face, unable to choose where to look. Her lips were slightly parted and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t clinging onto threads to keep from just kissing her without permission.

“Okay.” She spoke after what felt like an eternity, “How do we..?” 

Her voice trailed off as you slid a hand through her curls, gently cupping the back of her head. You leaned forward slowly, keeping your eyes open to make sure if she looked uncomfortable you wouldn’t miss it, but all you found was her steadily reddening face. Leaning into her space you could feel the breaths she took on your own lips. 

“Just like this.” You told her before finally pressing her lips together. Unable to look away, you watched her eyes flutter shut. Her lip gloss was sticky as it clung to your own lips. The feeling of it slick and sweet. Your tongue darted out to lick along the seam of her lips. 

She was right. It did taste like strawberries. 

Your tongue licked along her bottom lip, teeth tugging the flesh playfully. June’s lips parted just slightly, the suction of her gasping all the invitation you needed. Her moan caught you off guard. Tongue deep as you were, the vibration went straight to your arousal. As you pulled back she tried to follow and you couldn’t help but to smile. 

“Why’d you stop?” She asked when she realized you weren’t leaning back in. 

“Because if I don’t I’ll do a lot more.” You replied. Your heart was in your throat. The thought of being rejected buzzing loud. 

June was silent for a long moment simply staring. 

And then-

“Why’d you stop?”

-falling asleep with John. Not even holding him or anything just existing together in the same bed. The vulnerability and closeness of it is sweet enough in itself.

I feel like he'd often fall asleep first. And it might sound silly but hearing him gently snoring, his hair unkempt, glasses set aside for the night.. I don't know how but I'd fall in love with him again and again every night.

Him accepting the fact that you're flirting with him was already taking a while... But acknowledging his crush took some extra and then some.

Don't get me wrong he was always flattered, he just never knew how to react to it. From thinking that it's just your inside joke to hoping that you mean what you say was quite the ride.

Your comments, your smile as you say them, your voice... It all just makes his heart beat times faster.

Once he's comfortable and used to it, he tries to flirt back John Egbert style- he's such a dork it's hard to watch but adorable to be on the receiving end.

It only fuels you with ideas for nice comebacks- he's frankly never really ready for- but he wouldn't give up that easily.

He wants to make you swoon, just like you make him swoon. It's his personal goal... But the road to your heart is one he himself filled with challenges by going around the topic.

John often plays with you, he enjoys it. Besides with how much he makes you watch his movies it’s only fair and he probably ends up enjoying the games you play. Understands when you wanna play on your own though and will quietly watch and is genuinely into the game your playing. Like genuinely invested in the story of the game and cares!

Dave usually watches you play video games, doesn’t mind if you play games all day and enjoys being with you and probably makes you food while you play as well. Sometimes he’ll play with you but he would rather watch you play and probably ends up falling asleep half the time anyways.

JOHN EGBERT <3 READER

You were having a sleepover with your DARLING boyfriend John Egbert. Currently the two of you sat on the bed, doing your own things, you were messing around doing something on your phone and John.. was doing John things!! or something.. you weren't paying too much attention to him at the moment(which he did NOT appreciate)

John sighed, very obviously trying to hint at his need for attention without actually saying anything about it. He huffed and pouted, but DAMN was the thing on your phone interesting as hell. John clearly was NOT having it, as he started to poke and prod at your cheek trying to make you look at him, resting his head on your shoulder to try and get a peak at what could POSSIBLY be more important than him at the moment.

Ultimately deciding that what you're doing isn't actually that important, he lays drapes himself over you dramatically, making exaggerated, longing sighs. "what are you doing John.." you sigh, finally looking away from your phone to look down at him. He just giggles, nuzzling further into your torso. You ruffle his hair "alright.. i guess you win.. what did you want??" you finally ask him "just.." he starts, his voice muffled by the fact he's still snuggled against you "just this" you can feel him smiling into you as he says this.

i hope this was good.

He's constantly finding you asleep- and eventually he just gets used to it.

He finds you cute, after all.

So whenever he finds you passed out in a chair, at a desk or table- he just smiles and admires you for a bit before rushing to fetch you a blanket.

And he totally adores when you fall asleep on him.

Especially during movie nights- although, he always jokes that you miss the best parts when you do.
