Or do you think it would make more sense to try and create something new entirely, without anything taken from your own personal experiences?

You are literally making what you write out of your experiences and your personality and your imagination. I don't know how you could do it the other way. Everything is always going to be you.

Why are kids idealizing socialism? BRO HAVE YOU LOOKED OUTSIDE. Idk how it is in Europe but it’s not good in the states at all

Is it worse than in socialist countries? Cuba? Vietnam? Worse than the Eastern block was during the Cold war? How about North Korea, that is the communist paradise, right? Have you never wondered why people immigrate TO capitalist countries and not FROM? Often risking their lives doing so.

Capitalism is not ideal and it needs work just like any other system. I'm not cheering for unchecked capitalism, you need to have a system of regulations and proper checks. But just like with democracy, it is the best system that we've come up with so far. And hey, if anyone doesn't like it, they are free to move to a country that has a system they prefer. A lot of people trapped in socialist countries haven't had such options.
