My mom: Always talk about how I should do this and that and do it before I move out that will make me spent less time seeing her. If she always talk about that of everytime of course I'm going to be distance with her. I KNOW ALL THAT PLEASE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING NICE WITH ME.
My dad: Always say that I should get a job since I do nothing in the house. I guess house chores are fucking nothing. Also I'm trying to get a job but he's the one that needs to approve my resume and he's fucking busy.
My grandma: Keeps telling me how I should lose my weight and make fun of me. I trying. I'm fucking trying.
I love them I really do but I feel like I need to stay in bed for a hours first before I can see their faces.
I think the reason why I found A Dana Knightstone Novel game's dead ghost being scary was because how the ghost just appears and do whatever they want.
Also they always tend to be muted. So they just point stuff at what they want player to do.
I really don't like Emu Ootori from Project Sekai. It has nothing to do with her being annoying. I just really hate her events and the her character is build up as.
She never really have actual flaws that needs to improve. It's just her way of thinking is not accepted by others. She really is just a girl who wants the best for everyone. So like in short. She has done nothing wrong in her life and her problems are never her own fault. She's just a victim of circumstance character where things just can't go the way she wanted.
She feels like a saint. Too nice. It's not that it's bad. It just feels like she has no faults and the society us the one that needs to understand that her way of thinking is important such as in Pop In My Heart event.
Also her events tend to use the plot device where Emu hide her feelings till like the last 2 chapters. It's rather annoying since she did that from her 1st event till her 4th events and it's never seen as something she needs to fix. Which is now annoying to me rather than seeing as something sad. I know she does it because she prioritize others happiness but really? Even with your close friends? You still want to do that? It doesn't sit right with me especially in her 4th event. Since there's no point of Emu faking her smile and Tsukasa, Nene and Rui would rather have Emu being truthful with them.
So like she never really develops. It's just about her being validated. I just hate how she accepts that she has to be away from wxs and never even tried to think if there's a way to both protect wonderstage and being with wxs. In the end its the ootori bros that change her fate. It was never her own doing so it feels anticlimactic and deus ex machina.
So after emu's 4th event I've been a very emu hater. I keep bashing her in my head which is very unhealthy for me to do. In fact, I'm even fine with being called as misogynist just by hating this one fictional characters girl that did nothing wrong. I wish I could just forget about her so I could live my life a bit more peaceful with less hate.
But yeah Emu Ootori piss me off and I hate her so much.
My nitpick with anime character designs would be that why does the female characters tend to show more skin than the male characters? Like they're in the same type of outfit but for some reason the girls' outfit tend to show more skin? At least made them equal or something.
Instead of wanting more independent woman characters wouldn't it be great to have a woman being the Knight in shining armour for her lover or something. Like that's just so cool to see woman protecting the lover rather than just be "its fine I can do this by myself" type of character.
I get that there are female characters that can protecting their guy but can it not be some sacrificing trope where the woman got hurt instead like damn let them save someone and not get hurt.
Heroes not wanting superpowers is pretty common tho so this reason is pretty bad.
SPOILER ALERT FOR ANYONE WHO NEVER READS ANY BLUE BEETLE STORIES
As for me, I love Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle because his interaction with the scarab, Khadi Ja is entertaining. Even if you don't understand what the scarab is saying it's still entertaining to see Jaime interacting with the scarab.
Other than that this Blue Beetle focus more on family. The whole family knew about Jaime's power since the beginning of Blue Beetle 2006 comic series. You'll see them supporting Jaime when he's feeling down or still being like a normal family where Jaime needs to do his homework and chores first before saving the day.
Also Blue Beetle here is one of the dc heroes that doesn't meet the predecessor of the hero name he holds. That's because Ted Kord died when Jaime becomes blue beetle in the original series. So Jaime Reyes have never met Ted Kord. He is mentored by Peacekeeper instead. From what I remember, their dynamic is pretty fun too.
Blue Beetle 2006 comic series, from issues 1 to 25 is the best one imo. It's entertaining, funny, wholesome and it centers a lot on family love.
The new 52 and Rebirth have Jaime having rebellious teenager phase so it can be a bit turn off reading those comics. In the original series and in both tv series Jaime is in (Batman Brave and Bold and Young Justice) he's pretty laid back.
Overall I really love Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle. He's one of my favourite dc heroes so the reason that Blue Beetle is unique statement is not good enough.
