Oof, hello again all, it’s been. A Weird Couple of Years, huh? I hope you’re all doing well -- or as well as can be these days. Thank you for everyone who’s still keeping up with blog occasionally - I do get little spikes of activity here and there, and it delights me that new people are still finding this blog every so often. 

Believe it or not, sometime in October last year, this blog actually turned 4 years old! Which I can’t believe, time has just flown by. I started this blog while I was in the middle of uni and making my way through the series as something to do instead of all the assignments I should have been doing. We’ve definitely come a long way since then. 

So, in honour of four years of Great Library Incorrect Quotes, I decided to put together a little Top 10 Posts Compilation! Mostly for my own amusement, but hopefully you guys can find a little joy in it as well. After all, most of these quotes came from you guys! And every one of them is excellent. <3 

I’ll pop the actual Top 10 under a read-more to save cluttering anyone’s dash - this is gonna get long lmao.

These are all based on total notes-- where there are the same amount of notes, they were then ranked by number of reblogs.

Starting with... #10! - “Unofficially, I’d Watch Your Back”

This one was actually a personal favourite of mine, so I’m weirdly glad to see it make the cut. Jess and Glain being vitriolic best buds is always my fave.

#9 - ‘Despite the Warning Signs’

I only found out while checking the notes for ranking reasons that this one had a few replies in the reblogs?? I never saw them before now! The summary turned out to be that this quote was applicable to pretty much every ship in the series, and y’know what? That’s fair. That’s fair. 

#8 - “How Do We Usually Get Out of Messes?” 

I still haven’t finished the series (don’t @ me!), but this still seems applicable to... pretty much every situation the gang find themselves in. Bless their hearts.

#7 - “What Doesn’t Kill You...” 

....ah, poor Wolfe. Still love him. <3

#6 -  “I Really Am That Stupid” 

I think this one speaks for itself, honestly. Practically canon as far as I’m concerned.

#5 -  “One Day You’ll Laugh”

Out of personal favourites, I’m pretty sure this is actually my #1 - it makes me laugh every time I see it, but also ow my heart, the context. The amount of people who reblogged this with stuff like “Jess knows what he did” brings me a horrible sort of glee. 

#4 - “That One B99 Quote”

Ahhh, the very post that started it all... This was quite literally the quote that inspired me to start this blog. I just thought it was too funny, I had to post it somewhere... and so I made a whole new side-blog, as you do, and here we are.

#3 - “Manners, Chris.” 

I feel like this was one of the first quotes that really started gaining traction once it went up, and I remember thinking at the time that it was going to be a trend. “Any post with Wolfe and Santi? BAM, instantly popular.” Looking at the top 10 now, it’s a little bit funny how wrong that assumption was. This one just happened to resonate with a lot of people. 

#2 -  “I’m Good”

The ways in which this one just Works are many and varied. We love a genius. Hope he’s doing okay. <3 Nobody say anything if he isn’t. 

And now... the post you’ve all been waiting for...........

#1 - “Is It Gay?”

As I said in the tags, it made me laugh so I was legally obligated to post it! This is one of those quotes that I didn’t see getting popular, and frankly, that’s on me, because I feel like I should have seen this coming. Jess Brightwell, everyone’s favourite non-confirmed bisexual, everybody.
