I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again it is extremely telling that Abigail and Molly are by far the female characters in RDR2 who face the most misogyny from the fanbase when they are also the two women who outwardly challenge the men the most. Like hmmm I wonder why you think they’re being annoying or irrational. I wonder why you think Abigail is a shitty partner for holding John accountable for his absence in his son’s life. I wonder why you think Molly is a bitch for not taking Dutch’s emotional abuse lying down. I wonder why you don’t like two young women who don’t let the men you like walk all over them

The Three Big Families

It's interesting how the three big families are depicted.

The Zenin Clan is mysoginistic, extreme traditionalists, after rare techniques, have an incest problem, consider people without cursed energy not even human and punish weakness.

Most of this is shown and discussed in the series - including its consequences.

The Kamo Clan on the other hand is associated with strictness, rule-following, traditional jujutsu and are closest to the higher ups.

They are the only ones who are known for a mistake and also reminded of it.

Although it was not even the whole family, but one man. Due to this history, it is understandable why Kenjaku has chosen this clan head at that time - to be able to pull his strings better.

Something that also stands out is that in Zenin Clan the "relationship" with fathers is portrayed (Noabito, Makis father, Toji), or rather the readers get to know the male part of the characters' parents. While with the Kamo clan, the maternal side is illuminated and what happened to them. They are to some extent "better portrayed" and have a "better relationship" with their children.

The Gojo Clan seems like an exception, getting praised for their strong technique and bloodline.

This raises the question of what this family has to hide. Although the author said that he does not know if he wants to introducen them into the story, but it is quite conceivable that if it happens, they certainly show problems.

Considering that Kenjaku said that the Six Eyes had already foiled his plans twice and he had even killed the last user, that the family was not after him. Sator had not recognized him, although the scar would be very noticeable and prominent on any person. Was it pushed under the carpet by the higher ups? Why didn't the Gojo family do anything about it or teach their children? What happened to Norotoshi Kamo or his body?

Perhaps Satoru is also meant to represent the change in the jujutsu world, whereby he, as the "only member" of this family, slips into a parental role and lectures the new generation.

my version of the clock tower!! tbh i can probably work on this more... but i'm giving up aaaa imsorry there's too much stuff to draw

clock tower design thoughts below:

i always liked the clock tower! i have almost no notes until i started to draw and think about it a bit.

idk, barbs pulled herself out of a tragic situation, turned around, and became the lifeline to so many heroes. they know she won't accept grand gestures of thanks so they try to thank her in little ways instead

in my hc, barbs moves in the clock tower but it remains mostly unfurnished besides the bare minimum so she can focus on getting her oracle stuff set up. so everyone bit by bit, brings things over to furnish her clock tower.

dick leaves a blanket because barbs said she was cold that one time. steph lugs up an armchair someone was about to throw away ("a perfectly good chair!!"). next day, she drags in a sofa. cass finds a nice picture frame on the side of the road, just a frame. damian scoffs and offers to paint something for it. tim offers to take a photo for it. cass finds another frame so they can both hang up their work
