Starting a new religion in honour of Kai "Overhaul" Chisaki. Our only tenant is that mutilating children is funny and an extremely effective trolling method.

Bro, how did I drop off BNHA when Bakugo got revived via a ninja going inside him and I somehow come back to find it's gotten even stupider?
All for One is a foetus, I guess; Half the villains have been bodied either off-screen or with minimal effort (real worthwhile bringing Moonfish back, guys); Toga is... Let's step around that subject right away, and of course, Kurogiri redemption arc because that isn't predictable at all.
What if Shirakumo had awakened and he was actually really Goddamn evil? Like, worse than the Kurogiri personality, just turned into a total unhinged maniac by the decade spent being a corpse.
Hire fans, or more specifically, me. I'm a great writer, it's my strongest feature behind my stunning looks and humility.

The Shigaraki Detective Agency - A Borderline Apocalyptic Murder Mystery
In a take on BNHA's Japan where something, somewhere, went very wrong, the world seems to be on the very brink of total collapse. As garbage piles up and poverty floods the country, young detective Tomura Shigaraki, inheriting his Sensei's agency, and his allies aren't too bothered - after all, a more depraved world means more demand for someone who can cleave through it, right? It sure as hell keeps the lights on better than most other jobs.
Yet amidst the chaos, rumours persist of a particularly demented individual stalking the streets. A sadistic murderer, best known for their graphic port-mortem mutilation and their targeting of heroes specifically. Ultimately, Shigaraki and friends find themselves roped into hunting down this Hero Killer, after a previous job brings the two forces into contact.
So, yeah, the long and short of it is, this is a fic where the League of Villains are private detectives, in a world significantly more depraved and downtrodden than that of canon. Inspired by the worlds of Robocop and Ready or Not, my main hopes with this fledgling series are to give some slightly less villainous LoV content (while keeping the gang in character) and to portray a version of Musutafu that borders on apocalyptic with how broken it is.

a BNHA AU where the villains are heroes? How original, I must really be running low on ideas if this was what I've been working on.
Unless...
I mean, this still probably isn't original, but rest assured that after several rewrites and redos, my new story is going to follow the League in a less villainous context and it isn't going to be quite as simple as "Shigaraki but a hero."
Hey, on a completely unrelated note (I swear), has anyone here played Judgement?

I think RE4 has had more rereleases than there are people living in my country. I reckon I've owned it three separate times by now.

The funny thing about writing JoJo fanfics (which I am neither confirming nor denying that I am looking at doing) is that due to the series' own rules of parallel universes and how infinite numbers of alternate dimensions exist, it can technically be completely canon.

So, I've been gone for a wee while. Figured I'd return to give a little update.
First off, "Tonight, A Comedian Died" is, more or less, cancelled. This may not be much of a surprise, but I'd say it's important to have that in writing. To be honest, it was a mistake to try and push forward with another BNHA fanfic. AHAU was really the perfect ending point, since it was really a culmination of all my previous works and, most notably, finished around the time that my interest in the BNHA manga reached an all-time low. My connection with it has been reduced to checking Mr. Compress' wiki page every few months to see if he's had any more content yet and that's about it. I really have no passion left for this particular series, and continuing to write for it has become something of a chore for me. In top of this, I have both university work and the writing of my original novel taking up much of my time nowadays, leaving relatively little time to write fanfictions, even if I wanted to.
Still, on a brighter note, I'm mostly in good health and am looking forward to going home for the Christmas holidays. Somehow, this is the first time in years I've been excited for the festive season, purely because it means seeing my family again after the longest absence I've ever had from them.
So, what else is going on? Well, I'm still an ardent defender of Payday 3 and am rather looking forward to the new update. Even I won't defend the game's levelling system, so the overhauls to that actually look pretty good. I saw Killers of The Flower Moon. Excellent film, probably beats out Oppenheimer ever so slightly for my film of the year. The Fnaf movie gave us Doug, so it's obviously a masterpiece. And yeah, that's more or less it.

I did it. I saw the Five Nights at Freddy's movie. Almost a full week ago now, but I was too lazy to post about it until now.
In short, the film is the epitome of a 5/10 and I loved it. Well, loved it may be a strong term, but I certainly respect it. It's obvious that a lot of care and love was given to the source material and the fanbase, which is something I can absolutely respect for an adaptation. Shockingly, it does feel like a labour of love, for something that seemed so much like it would be a quick cash-grab. If Afton was in it more, the backstory was more developed and a certain scene did not exist (you know the one if you've watched it), I might have even considered a 6 or a 7 overall. As it stands, it's a perfectly acceptable, middle of the road film that I can't help but laud for the passion and care put into it.
