Try using more than just vowels next time. Vowels are expensive and if you are going to be throwing money around like Bill fucking Gates than you should pay for my college tuition. It’s fucking criminal, but you don’t care because you may be too busy figuring out why your keyboard is broken. Try typing with your hands instead of your face moron.

PD2's “Wonderful” Community
I swear, Payday 2′s community has to be holding back the modding potential of that game. The community seems to think that mods are just simply gun skins or sound replacements and the moment someone tries changing the actual function of the game the fucking ‘Payday 2 Purists’ come out and shame the hell out of the modder. If no one tried changing a game’s function we wouldn’t have games like Killing Floor, which has a shit ton of mods that changes the game’s functions. In fact a lot of new experiences can be had because of these mods, and it is really fucking stupid that the community wants their game completely unmodded even though they don’t have to fucking mod their game if they don’t want to. Payday 2 has the tools to exclude these people from your game if you do not want them. However, they seem to think they have the fucking right to control how everyone experiences Payday 2. Why? Probably because they are fucking assholes.
Payday 2 only has four ways you can currently play the game. Here is the list:
Single-player
Vanilla Co-op
Sandbox Mode (with a Trainer)
Mutations (with a mod)
I only recommend playing the game in the last three ways since single-player is an underdeveloped shit stain of a game mode that shouldn’t even be there. Seriously, you only get two meatbags that don’t do anything except sometimes kill cops and thinks about reviving you. The meatbags don’t complete objectives, and their well being doesn’t count towards the end bonus. They also don’t understand to stay away from the goddamn turret enemy half the time getting themselves killed anyway. It’s not that single-player is hard—which it isn’t—it’s that the game mode isn’t fun. Fans like to excuse this by stating that the game is meant to be played online. They can go to hell. If a developer puts a game mode in their game it should be just as fun to experience than the rest of the game. I don’t overlook the bird shit on my car because the rest of my car is clean. There is still bird shit on my car. The game mode is bad and lowers the overall quality of the product.
Adding other players to the mix increases the enjoyment of the game dramatically. You still get cunts like ever other multiplayer game, but you can just kick those fuckers. Playing with a bunch of friends will suddenly make a 2 hour game a 200 hour game, for some people at least. I don’t blame those people either, OVERKILL knows how to make a gun feel good when you shoot it.
If you are like me, than you most likely installed a trainer so you could see how all the skills functioned to see what you liked (and if you disagree with what I did, fuck off.) Most trainers come with a lot of scripts and such that allows you to do things like switch weapons on the fly, spawn cops, turn off AI, spawn bags, make shit explode for no goddamn reason, etc, etc. Now don’t get me wrong, if you use a trainer in a public lobby you are just asking for people to get pissed (for good reason but at the same time just fucking leave.) I only suggest you do this with a closed group of friends who are okay with it or by yourself. Seriously, it’s good fun.
And last but not least, we have mutations. Thanks to the wonders of GoonMod we have the Left 4 Dead 2 styled gameplay gimmicks including only Cloakers, only Bulldozers, increased cop amount, sanic cops, etc. Kudos to the modder for the fantastic work for making the game more interesting. If more modders decided to just tweak how the game plays a bit we could have fantastic things like custom weapons, custom enemies, custom music, and increased player count. There are whiners who say it ruins the balance of the game, but it’s fucking co-op. If you care so much for fucking balance just increase the amount of police in the game. Killing Floor has servers that support 32 players and they are hectic fun. I just wish the Payday 2 community could just suck it up and let people tinker with the fucking game.
Side note to modders: You guys gotta stop calling shit impossible. Seriously, it’s annoying because if it were impossible than the game wouldn’t fucking exist.
tl;dr  The Payday 2 community pisses me off and prevents wonderful new mods that could exist within the game.

PixelTail Games’ Kickstarter (Tower Unite)
Normally I’d just rant or some shit on this blog, but I feel like doing some else instead. The guys over at PixelTail Games are working on their first standalone title and they need your help. PixelTail Games are the fine folk behind fun Garry’s Mod gamemodes such as Elevator: Source, Cinema, gm_apartment, and GMod Tower!  They plan on converting the tower into a full game to overcome the limitations of the Source engine and it seems like it hasn’t gotten as much traction as I feel they deserve. I know the timing was most likely not in their favor either, seemingly being over shadowed by the Yooka Laylee Kickstarter. PixelTail games has provided a steady flow of content (for free) and it just sucks to see their Kickstarter go up at an unbearable pace with a team full of talented individuals who have proven themselves capable developers. I wish the fine folk working at PixelTail the best of luck and hope the rest of you consider donating. Click here to visit their Kickstarter and for more information about the game!

GG Konami
Silent Hills was officially cancelled today. Although that isn’t too surprising with the whole Konami-Kojima shit that’s been going on the past few months. Seriously though, what the fuck. Konami finally has an interesting Silent Hill and they throw it down the fucking shitter. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know which names like Hideo Kojima,  Guillermo del Toro, and Norman Reedus involved in the project it is going to accumulate a lot of fucking attention. They had at least four goddamn fan bases looking at this fucking thing. Even I was interested in seeing how this entry in the franchise would turn out after the creative reveal of this game, but instead they just look like an incompetent blunder of a company. Konami is neck deep in some shit right now and with them delisting their stocks, I don’t see it getting any better. I hope Kojima realizes the potential of a horror game made by him, but until then we just have the strip teaser (which was removed) to only dream what could’ve been. You don’t win rounds by fragging yourself Konami, but you’re just betting that the Metal Gear Franchise will keep you afloat while you stumble around the gaming world like a fucking drunk.
tl;dr  It’s a fucking paragraph, read it.

Steam Workshop and Paid Mods
Before I go too far into this steaming pile of bullshit, I’d like to say one thing,
PAYING FOR MODS IS FUCKING STUPID.
I have heard some defense for the whole “pay for mods” thing and I will admit some of the them have some pretty good points. Certain mods take months, maybe even years, before they are finally complete and they are not entitled to a single penny. I get it, working for free sucks, but that’s not why people make mods. People make mods because they love the game or just gaming in general. It’s a great way to get a glimpse into the amount of work that goes into a finished product and maybe even make something (overpowered) for yourself. Modding is a staple of gaming on the PC, you can make and fix anything to your desires and it is beautiful. A few days ago it seems like Valve had the “brilliant” idea to let people charge for the things they create (or steal) on Steam Workshop. The idea behind it is so gamers will be able to support their favorite modders by purchasing mods from them. I have a few reasons why this feature is complete trash.
Modders only get 25% of the revenue from each sale.
No Quality Assurance.
Mods may not even work with each other.
Fucking Microtransactions
There are better ways to support modders.
Even though over one-hundred thousand people are against this new practice Valve is trying to promote, it’s most likely going to stay anyway so why not give more money to the people doing most of the goddamn work. I understand that the game belongs to the company that created (or published) it, but if 25% sounds like a fantastic deal to you fuck off. If I want to support a modder by buying their goddamn extra apple I want at least half of my money to go to the person, not some bystander.
I don’t have infinite money, but I sure as shit wish I did so I could justify these blind investments. With no Quality Assurance there is no way to tell if you are going to be getting a golden apple or a heaping pile of shit. This is another dumb move that should be changed. If you want your game to have paid mods work together with the modder to make an appropriate price for the amount and quality of the content they are trying to charge for, not to mention that it might not work with another mod you have installed/bought/whatthefuckever. We shouldn’t have to be hoping that rain isn’t piss today before buying something (that may not even work) off of the Steam Workshop. Also if you think that little refund policy is just as good I’m going to kick you in the dick. If I want my five or ten dollars back I want it back in my account, not some fucking steam dollar bullshit. I can’t go out to eat with Steam Dollars™.
I remember when the internet was all up in arms with the whole microtransaction event. Guess what internet, this is just another form of it. It’s a bit worse though since this time the only real effort comes from the 25% cut team while the other 75% is just some other company’s gold mine. If a team or person makes something that you enjoy and you want to support them, ask them how you can. If enough people are interested, modders will set up a way for you to support them. People give others donations through Paypal all the time and isn’t Patreon a thing now? It’s like installing a fucking green donate button was just the craziest thing in the world. There are better alternatives to this whole paid mods thing for both the gamers and modders and if I see another bullshit half-assed pros and cons list from someone who can only benefit from the situation, someone is getting kicked in the dick. Cheers.
tl;dr  Take out paid mods and add a donate button.
