Great emotional epi but... not much sense?
This guy (great actor btw) is pinned to a wall by an SUV for hours. There is a team of doctors with IVs, the fire dept., LAPD and NCIS and he doesn’t wonder why they’re not moving the car to set him free? I understand they went for the Kensi emotional bit but it doesn’t make sense.
When Kensi is like “he doesn’t know?” the other Agent mumbles something about his wife and see how he handles it... which doesn’t make sense and doesn’t answer the question.
Exactly same thing (and it’s even funny) happens when Kensi tells Deeks that she’s been asked to tell him he’s going to die and Deeks is like “NOBODY TOLD HIM???” And she mumbles the same wife thing back at him. “He thinks they’re waiting for his wife to get on the phone OR SOMETHING” They can’t even explain it and that doesn’t even make sense, it’s not the point. Like “oh we could move the car but first we need to find your wife so that you can talk to her for no reason”
Were they maybe expecting that the wife would tell him he was going to die if they moved the car? I don’t know.
I got the feeling it was awkward for them to act like erm... elephant in the room? WHY ISN’T THIS GUY ASKING TO MOVE THE CAR?
I can picture the writing team and the eureka moment when they’re like “yeah, we’ll just have Deeks come up with ‘ eh, deep down he knows he’s about to die’ to get out of this.

“Representatives for Johnny Depp today announce that Mr Depp has reached a settlement agreement with his former business managers, The Management Group, following legal action taken against the company by Mr. Depp in January 2017. The terms of the settlement agreement are confidential,” according to a statement issued late Monday in London by Depp’s team.
Depp’s statement said he was “pleased.”
“The lawsuit taken out against The Management Group – and the subsequent settlement – is a further demonstration that Johnny is determined to take firm action to protect his personal and artistic reputation in the interests of his family and his career,” the statement said.
“Following the settlement, Johnny is pleased to be able to revert his full attention to his ongoing artistic endeavors, notably the second leg of the sold-out Hollywood Vampires global tour and the exciting launch of JK Rowling’s “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,” which will be released in theaters in November this year,“ the statement said.
“Johnny extends his most sincere thanks and appreciation to the true supporters that have shown their loyalty to both him and his family over recent years.”

Would Dani really refer to the episode as having a bunch of heart wrenching goodies if Deeks died. 😏😏

“did chris evans actually jump that high to grab onto that helicopter in civil war?”
friendly reminder that chris vaulted with ease over chris pratt after just telling him less than a minute before that he would be able to clear him if he only put his head down.

Originally Kensi was going to lose her leg 😱 in the helicopter accident for the *cover her pregnancy* storyline but then they changed because of another TV show with a similar story and they didn't want two leading female characters on CBS with the same storyline
