Dear my Friends Ep4
Ok,this was a jump of episodes but this one got me so emotional. When I saw Wan cursing her life for having to take care of JeongA and Heeja, I totally understood her. And when she understood them and cried for regretting cursing them, I understood her too. There's so much depth to this story, how the characters understand one another through non-verbal language. When JeongA's daughter ask for money, YoungWon saw her scars and didn't probe at all, she just agreed to help her. I like that, it shows that relationships are incredible, you no need the person to say it directly, you can just understand them. Thanks @kdramastuff for introducing this drama. It IS underrated, and I think it's a good show for young people to watch, I think i've matured a little from watching this show.

Dear My Friends Ep1 Review
@kdramastuff taste in drama never dissappoints so I decided to FINALLY check this out. The first parts show much fufilling your late years can be if you try. How one lady tries to get back up on her feet after her husband's death and tries to be independant and not a burden to her sons. How another works 10 hours for a dollar for housekeeping her daughters' homes and hardly sees their faces. This woman dreams of travelling around the world with her spinster husband and tries for her first drivers lisense. She stays so optimistic. Then we have another woman with her successful restaurant and her daughter. This woman has a fiesty temper and loves to club. Then we have her daughter, Wan, who is always forced to participate in the activities of these 3 women. Although she has much annoyance to this, but in front of her mother's friends, she tries hard to be nice. Besides these 4 women, there are other characters that contribute greatly to the story, but we'll come to that some other time. My overall sentiments is that this drama has a lot of warmth. Sure, it doesn't have your average OTP fluff as the main story, but we have this precious longlasting friendship and so well put together characters who have to put up with a lot as the story progresses. I feel that this drama has a lot of potential so far and is looking forward to Jo In Sung/ Go Hyun Jung scenes that are to come. 8.5/10

Never thought of it that deep... this has totally motivated me to watch Dear My Friends
both dear my friends and goblin were very good dramas but people don't understand that dear my friends put people in a feeling goblin never did.
I wouldn’t say Goblin was a good drama, though. It had it all: extra high budget that resulted in outstanding cinematography, epically charismatic cast, catchy ost tunes, interesting charactets, promising beginning and fairy-tale feels. But the poorly written story was really a disgrace. It’s the most pretentious plot Kim Eun-sook has ever come up with, but it’s not like she even tried to make the screenplay decent. It makes me salty as heck to think that they had this much potential, then wasted it all and still sailed on fairy-tale atmosphere and various fluff including the leading men being cute with each other. Kim Eun-sook doesn’t even have to try writing good stories at this point. She can just cast any superstar actors she wants thanks to the endless budget for each of her shows and then add some fluff and it will sell as hot pies. Dear My Friends also was an expensive drama since it was tvN’s 10-year-anniversary special project. But the most notable thing about it was it’s deep well-written story. The one thing that Goblin painfully lacked.
