Why does fate let two people cross paths if they are not meant to be together,
Then I remembered when Naseer Turabi said; "Milne ki tarah woh mujhse pal bhar nhi milta, dil usse mila zisse mukaddar nhi milta"

I wish I wasn't such a dreamer. I have ruined this life for myself - N.M Sanchez
And when Shahzad Ahmed said; "khwahishon ki dhool se chehre ubharte hi nhi, humne karke dekh li khwabon ki tabeere bohot" hits hard to the core

‎When Shahid Zaki wrote;
yar bhi rah ki diwar samajhte hain mujhe
main samajhta tha mere yar samajhte hain mujhe
“I always wondered why he wrote this poetry in the first place because I considered friendship as the purest ingredient of life but at some point in our life we will surely realize that.”

Nizar Qabbani once wrote There are some people that we didn't forget, but we don't smile anymore when they're mentioned.
Just like Ahmad Faraz said Ab tere zikr pe hum baat badal dete hain, kitni raghbat thi tere naam se pehle pehle

It didn't worked out, even after you gave your everything, it's because what's meant for you will come to you. But before that, you need to let go what's not serving you to make space what's meant for you!

raat bhar chaand ke humrah phira karty thay

jahan tanhayian sar phorh ke so jati hain
in makanon main ajab log raha karte thay

That's the thing about people who haven't been loved much..They think about every kind gesture, a slightest touch of fingers, kind smiles, random acts of love, intimacy in every small thing done. They find that love wherever they can cause it was never given to them freely. They don't ask for love, they search for it everywhere.

Once you reach a certain age, life just becomes a process of continuous loss in which man loses one thing after another, and the people we love fade away one by one.
Haruki Murakami.
